  1. Dromund Kaas. If this place existed in real life, I would do anything to live there. I love thunder and the rain. I usually prefer night over day. My favorite part of the day is dawn and nightfall. Dromund Kaas seems to be locked somewhere around nightfall, which is perfect. The purple-blue-turquoise atmosphere is a color palette I usually pick when painting. Also: the jungle. Every big city is concrete jungle. Having a city surounded by real jungle of beautiful plants and animals is a dream. I am not sure how many people took a walk through woods during the rain. That cozy feeling and smell of rain is unique. If you have never done that, do it!!! Every time I visit Kaas City I imagine that feeling and smell of the fresh, forest air. It reminds me on my childhood when I used to walk through nature with my mother and our cat:D .We would take umbrellas and slowly walk listening to the soft sounds of rain drops falling down on leaves. I remember the day when I saw Dromund Kaas for the very first time. It was officially my favorite zone ever made. I was blown away. It felt like a projection of everything I like onto one zone. Least favorite is Hutta. It has no life.
  2. This is how I see it: There is a group project and there are 12 members in the group. Every member is an expert in a certain field needed for the project. However, majority of members do not care about the project. They only care about their position in the group. You are the only one who cares and you are the only one who does any real work. Seeing that, you take all of the job upon yourself. Since you are not an expert in every field, you fail deeply at some areas. You end up being a leader without wanting and you end up failing to preserve something you all should have tried to protect. So, no, he was not a good leader, but yes, he was a good leader (when you take a look at current Sith Empire).
  3. Difference is huge between what can happen with Koth and what happens with SCORPIO. Those who had high influence with Koth, most likely liked him as a character and did series of events that would lead towards him staying. It is pretty clear what you have to pick to make certain companion angry. Same can be said for Kaliyo and Aric where it was you deciding whether they will stay or not. However, with SCORPIO there was no option. I do respect the story and do not mind losing companions but I can see how bad it would be to lose Pierce whom I have on level 45 influence. They could give us an option to transfer her influence to another companion of our own choosing. Some people like Theron, some people like SCORPIO.
  4. I wanted to change my opinion about Lana and Theron, but could not. Back on Yavin I enjoyed irritating Theron Shan. I would not kill them off if given the chance, but would for sure make some evil pranks to irritate both of them until they snap. The only character I changed my mind about, so far, is Darth Marr. I really liked him but since he became whatever he is, I find him boring just like Satele Shan with whom he hangs out with. Huge minus, Marr! I hope his behaviour is not permanent.
  5. Our characters are really powerful when compared to the rest of Sith Empire and Republic, but they are not the most experienced. I might be totally wrong, but Revan, one we killed, was no ordinary being. Also, the way I understood, he tried to stop Emperor alone. Correct me if I am wrong. We, on the other hand, have allies and taking different approach. At the end, we might face him alone, but in no way we will get there without help of others. That is how I explained it to myself.
  6. No, honestly, it does not mean it is hard, let alone too hard. First time I entered Eternal Championship I got all the way to the last round without my companion (because I thought you are not allowed to use one) and non-augmented gear. I am an avarage player. Only doing weekly will give you crystals that you can use to obtain really good gear on Odessen. That is the exact gear I am using and used to complete Eternal Championship (no augments). For girls (players) like you, there is an option to enter Championship with friends. You can bring anyone you like and complete it together. For other players, who like to try all aspects of the game or put minimal effort, there is an option to do it alone. Do not take it away from them by making threads where you assume something is too hard without even showing grain of interest to improve. Edit: There is an entire thread devoted to Eternal Championship here. That is not the only one but it is the one I remembered. You can even find guides on Youtube and othere sites like Dulfy. These days I am casual, too. I log maybe once per week to do some heroics. I am still missing my "under 15 minutes title", but I understand why. It is the way it should be.
  7. It doesn't matter (to me). I only explained why people thought Darth Malgus will come back in KotFE (which I stated in my post). Someone above asked. But I do not know why is there literally no way that Arcann and Thexan could not find a room on Korriban with sabers inside. When Darth Malgus went down, someone might have entered his place and took these sabers. Things older than 50 years have resurfaced. Span of 50 years is not much. Eleena Daru's model is a nice information. I did think Atroxa looks really cute! Eleena's chin looks different, however. Might be because of makeup.
  8. Take a look at this video (1:50). It shows Darth Malgus. I love Darth Malgus and I hope he gets back. He is my favorite character. Other Sith Lords I find rather boring. Darth Marr was okay until he became this thing he is right now. Edit to explain better why people hoped for Malgus to be alive: Also, if you look at current KotFE trailer, you can see Arcann and Thexan presenting 'gifts' to Valkorion. There are four lightsabers and all four had connection with Darth Malgus. On white flag there are two lightsabers: one that belonged to Jedi Master Kao Cen Darach (Satele's Master) and Lord Vindican (Darth Malgus' master). Both of them where killed by Darth Malgus. On black flag one saber belongs to Darth Malgus himself and another to Jedi Master Van Zallow, also killed by Darth Malgus. Here is the screenshot: http://sta.sh/0kdbdm77lw3. If you watch the entire video I linked, you will get to see a model of Darth Malgus' carbonite: http://sta.sh/0gl3ixw5ic7.
  9. As far as I've seen, you can gain the title in a couple of different ways: be powerful, defeat Council member, retake superior's position or be useful. Spoilers ahead! From Wookiepedia: So, you can get the title by being good at your 'job' . Another way is to kill your superior (lilke SI) or 'retake' his/her position (like Darth Zash). However, simply having Darth title will not, by default, grant you respect of other Council members. Darth Zhorrid was a good example of that. From Tor Wiki: So, you have to be experienced and have some achievements. This also tells me that sometimes they might give you the title if they have some good use of you. One more example is Darth Thanathon: Dark Council members can disagree upon whom to chose next as a Dark Council member. I can think of Darth Gravus and Darth Karrid. Darth Marr wished for her (Darth Karrid) to be the new Dark Council member, but others did not. Even if Darth Marr was a senior member, So, I guess the same can apply for the title. Also, if some members disagree, they might call in for a vote where majority wins (my thoughts). One more thing: When Marr grants to SI a seat at the Council, Ravage complains explaining that you are only a Lord. That might suggest "Darth" title is needed for someone to be considered as a potentional Dark Council member. That tells me you simply have to climb up on the ladder and get your Darth title. Since SI defeated a Dark Council member, he/she jumped couple of steps forward and thus was given the title and the chair. This is just my theory based on the little research I've done. I hope someone knows more. I was also interested into this topic. This question has been asked before, and there was never an ultimate answer because there is always an example of some other Sith getting his/her title the other way. So, I concluded that some Sith get the title fairly and others do not. What is considered fair, is up to people to decide. In my opinion, Darth should be someone who is, not only powerful, but also experienced and has done many good things for the Empire. It should not be a title given to a person just because their father had it.
  10. As many noted, SCORPIO is rather obvious, so I would not consider her betrayal as a surprise, much less 'ultimate'. Valkorion/Vitiate cannot betray me, since I've never seen him as an ally. Did anyone? His decisions will never be a surprise only questionable. He is the type of person you can expect anything from. Ultimate betrayal can only come from someone whom I trust: Lana, Theron or other alliance members. Honestly, I do not trust either of them, but I am forced to. Also, I never trusted Senya. I think she wishes to help, but her heart is not with the Alliance. She loves her children and hates that she cannot change it. In the last couple of chapters she has changed because she cannot lie to herself anymore. I cannot see her not betraying us or not sacrificing herself to save her children. Maybe her betrayal will be a good foundation to get Koth back to those players who made him leave Alliance. On the other hand, as someone noted in another thread, ultimate betrayal could come from Republic and Empire. We haven't heard much of them. Also, our characters, especially SI, have no idea where their allies are. I would very much hate to see that Moff guy betraying me. Now, time for some crazy fan theory! p.s. Oh, I hope we finally get the chance to use Gravestone for real. I would like to find out what is hiding in that room.
  11. I think he means that at the 'end', there will be epic battle (or something like that), so those powerful companions are saved for the last chapters because their story is to come and help us out. At least that is how I understood it...I might be wrong.
  12. I understand your frustration, maybe. But does it really take them to close the game for you to stop playing? You have love-hate relationship with this game. However, there are people who do not feel that way. If you do, that if okay, but to ask them to shut down the game for everyone on this planet just because you do not find it enjoyable might sound a little selfish. I could see this being a valid point if you were FORCED to play as long as the game is running. But you are not. You can shut down the game for yourself this very moment. All you have to do is stop playing. I've been playing SWTOR since the first day. There was a moment when I stopped enjoying the game and I took a break. I will give you one advice: do not do this to yourself. If the game is making you frustrated, take a break or quit for good. Find something else more enjoyable.
  13. He looks like every other President, King, Queen, Emperor (ahm) does. Sitting on his throne while others are dying then claims all for himself. Well, in his defence, he has Skytroopers. Ahahaha. But, his facial expression was amazing when he figured Outlander is in da house. It would be cool if he zoomed on Outlander and our character looks at him, grins and says "Sup?"; Puts shades on and you can hear Miami CSI music. Ahahaha...
  14. Hey, that is just my opinion! Let me explain why: I always thought Shae would be a cool character. She worked with Malgus, so I kinda liked her. But she is not. I did read about her before she was in-game character, but she is nothing like I thought she would be. Her arrogance is not justified. She does not come as 'strong' but delusional. Just like her entire group. Shae and her 'clan' are really insulting towards someone who beat their leader in a duel. Just to explain: I do not need them to bow and kiss my boots and cape, but I was expecting some respect towards someone who fought next to their current leader. You know that "brotherly" love because you are both good warriors and went through something big? Something like:
  15. I am sad she insulted animals. Mandalorians are a subgroup of 'things I dislike'. However, I decided to help them. As I play, I keep having ME2 on my mind which results in me saving and helping so I can be saved and helped. I would not like to be unable to do something just because "I do not have X companion or I did not help to X person". When the time comes, after all our character have been trough, they will know how to deal with Mandalorians. But I did feel sad for Thorian. He reminded me on those nice people who are being labeled just because their nation did something and media proclaimed them 'evil'.
