  1. On a general note, I think the GCD change needs to be walked back. It needlessly nerfs both DPS and tanks.
  2. Holy crap is it awful. I would seriously rather have a non-zero chance of flying into outer space and dying than have this. This cripples the tank opener. Who would ever think that this is a good idea? Imagine how it'll be on something like NiM Writhing Horror where not building threat fast enough can cause serious problems.
  3. What's the reasoning behind having unassembled components drop from Master Mode operations instead of dropping 248 unassembled gear tokens? It worked perfectly fine before. Seems like you guys tried to fix what wasn't broken.
  4. I wanted to voice my displeasure over your most recent announcement on the forums. You said that NiM ops will be dropping unassembled components in the future. You are so far off the mark with what your players are crying out for that it is very frustrating and disheartening. Only a very select few of your players are capable of running NiM ops. Those of us that devote our time to doing so do not feel as if our time is being adequately rewarded. Removing on-tier unassembled gear piece drops from NiM bosses makes NiM progression impossibly difficult. Making the new drops components rather than gear tokens is just a slap in the face. It shows that you know what the problem is, but that you are unwilling to fix it. it shows that you care more about not upsetting your PVP players than you do fairly rewarding your PVE players. It is literally impossible to gear a character for NiM last bosses without having to slog through PVP or grind up 300 levels of Galactic Conquest. It usually can take progression teams weeks or months to fully gear up a group when we are all vying for the same gear pieces, but your system and even the future system means it will take even longer. Many of us have been playing your game since launch. I was a beta tester and have been playing it even longer. We are begging you to please restore NiM drops to a single unassembled 248 gear piece token. Please. We want to play this game. We want to keep paying our subscriptions. Your treatment of NiM raiders is making us not want to play anymore, and we are amongst your most loyal fans.
  5. Are you kidding me? Unassembled components? Why are you making it so hard to get gear for NiM players? You need the 248 gear to progress in these ops. You can't hope to take on the last boss without full 248 gear.
  6. Not currently associated with any guild, but I am looking to get a group together. There seems to be quite a few people looking to join one, perhaps enough to form a new group entirely. Generally, anyone interested should have, at the bare minimum, completed all HM bosses through the Dread Ops. A group pretty much has to have these on farm before they think about heading into NiM. People with NiM experience are obviously preferred over those without experience. People capable of playing several different classes well would be ideal. The minimum gear level would be fully augg'ed 234/236. Having 240 mods, enhancements, relics, ears, and implants with the 236 armorings is preferred and having 242 gear is optimal. I main a Jugg tank, but also have Sin and PT alts. Would preferably want a co-tank with a Sin main or, at least, a Sin alt because of the versatility they add. For DPS, the standard seems to be a 9k dummy parse and 8k boss parse to be able to clear the DPS checks. For healers, 10k-13k HPS with Effective Heals and somewhere around 35 apm. I believe this is also fairly standard. Post with your HM/NiM clears, your gear level, and your availability at this discord channel https://discord.gg/XybVcSd These are my clears of note. 7. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9275118#post9275118 Hey, looking to put together a NiM group. A healer would be most welcome.
  8. Hey, I am looking to put together a NiM team. Your main is DPS? http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9275118#post9275118

  11. I'm a tank looking for a NiM group. NiM: SnV 7/9 TFB 1.66/5 DF 4/5 HM: Rav 5/5 Jugg is my main. Also have a Sin and a PT. All in 240 gear.
  12. Jugg/Sin/PT Tank HM: KP, EC, EV, SnV (5.0), TFB, TC, DF, DP, Rav (5.0) NiM: TFB 1/5, DF 1/5 I am best with my Jugg and it is the best geared, but the PT is a close second. The Sin only lacks a full set bonus. All have 240 mods, enhancements, weapons, and left side.
  13. ^This For larger mobs, tanks are ideal. All I need to do is let Khem dash in, challenge the whole lot of them, they converge on him, and I just spam Lightning Storm and use Chain Lightning when I unlock the freebie. I am far too squishy to use DPS companions because the entire group would unload on me. It's easier to let them kill my tank, because that gives me tons of time to kill them first.
  14. I don't really see her as a real romance option. I see it as me manipulating her emotions towards me by acting as she wants me to act (I never take her off the ship and only use companion gifts). I still feel like I am being the awesome manipulative Sith. The way I see it, my character feels nothing for her, but sees the advantage of having a powerful force user in love with me because it makes her a better and more loyal servant. Besides, I don't want her dark side. Betrayal is the way of the Sith. I never have to worry about her plotting against me.
