  1. I came back too, wont be playing long, I cannot believe they have not addressed the issues most of us pointed out before leaving. Will try this SSSP but I have a very bad feeling about this..
  2. Really? I'm sure I watched the republic take down a gigantic star destroyer as the climax of the film.
  3. Big subjects tend to spill over, I returned from being away for a long time hoping this might be a turning point for this game, I worry it isn't...
  4. No, that's a starfox rip off. I was thinking huge guild battles with a massive star destroyer OFF RAILS! Maybe even some free space exploration, you people seem to set your bars woefully low...
  5. I dunno, maybe the tiny amount of servers that have been condensed resulting in name loss etc.. Maybe the pitiful amount of views and comments on YT promotional vids they release? Maybe the tiny following this game has for a SW franchise, this was expected and funded to be the next big thing, just check the stockprice fall from pre-launch to now? I will admit there is a chance it could halt the clusterduck of fails with the SSSP but it's not looking likely with the way they are dealing with it. Of course any BW drone or fanboi would not admit this, their delusion is strong.
  6. "We have placed the idea of PvE space content far far far far far down on the wall of crazy." I do not think I can imagine a more detrimental comment to your playerbase concerning quite possibly your last chance at turning this freight train of fail around. It is almost as if you have chimps employed in dealing with questions fired at your organization, do you even care about what is said or how it might be taken. It is little wonder this game is going down if not already gone down the tubes. Seriously, sort it out. It might not be too late!
  7. No, with any amount of experience in gaming this is just no. PvP is notorious for demanding exploit free mechanics, the more wiser path would have been to release PvE content THEN PvP content. Once the glitches and exploits are ironed out a PvP element is opened up. This is arse backward and only goes to add to my belief that things have not changed in the dev team. Clusterduck incoming tbh.
  8. This does not bode well... As a returning player if they are not ready for a incremental increase in population for the SSP I fear the worst, and the opportunity to turn this clusterduck of a game around will be squandered.
  9. Yea, I see the cancer that is killing this game is still here. However this expansion does have the chance to nuke these vile pathogens. Regardless of the scrubs there are a lot of players returning ready for the SSSP, the post was meant for the devs, they do actually read these forums, i know one personally. Good luck BW.
  10. I am returning with a few friends to play this Galactic starfighter expansion. We were 50 before early access finished and had completed all content on nightmare mode within 12 weeks. With nothing left to we grew bored farming the PvP spawn points in Ilum. BW, don't screw this up please, I've already heard a horror rumour that this expansion may be to some extent be on rails, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make any pve content a challenge and ALL pvp content risk/reward. If this expansion is poor you will lose ALL credulity and respect, your game is in the gutter, just the complete lack of servers, forum activity and YT views says it all. You WILL get a lot of players back to check out this SSSP you have promised since launch. Don't drop the ball here, make it hard, make it a real challenge and make it so those that do succeed are rewarded and revered. If you screw this up you truly will be the laughing stock of the mmo community. Good luck and im looking forward to encouraging my clan and associates back.
  11. QFT 100% right. I agree farmville style players NEED to be catered too, but there is NOTHING in SW:TOR for the competative raider, as i said im not what i would consider ultra hardcore, but even our guild had a raiding party of 50's BEFORE early access was finsihed and we had completed NM EV before the end of January! If there had been at least one or two bosses requiring a few months practice with rewards to suit then we would still be playing, never tune these bosses or the titles they gave, then when new content hits just remove the boss forever, JUST ONE OR TWO BOSSES out of reams of content would not be missed. These bosses would then become legendary within the lore of TOR. My most vivid memory of WoW was the Vanilla defeat of C'thun (it took six weeks of practice as a 40 man raid), we were the first ally guild on our server to down him and if anyone knows what it took then they know of the pedigree required. My respect to anyone that killed the Sleeper in EQ or C'thun in Vanilla.
  12. Problem is most of the top 60-70% of the playerbase has left. Most of the replies to this post are from those that are still levelling to 50 or at least still struggling to complete all content. So you will see alot of support for the game in its current state because 60-70% of the people that agree cant post. Meh, im only subbed for one month to see how they implemented F2P so ill be gone again soon, i am a massive SW fan and mmo addict, however the way they screwed this game up is ciminal in my view (and it seems the evidence supports my position, sacking staff, merging and closing servers, forcing name changes and ultimately going F2P before its first year is even up) the super secret space project is a tiny glimmer of hope BW, just make sure there is ALOT of open world faction conflict and a system in place for player driven lore. (fat chance)
  13. 100% agree with poster, the sad thing is the devs were told repeatedly how to implement F2P successfully and how to change the game to bring success, instead they listened to the players that have a sense of entitlement, players that want ALL the good gear and to complete ALL the hardest content wihtout the dedication or skill required to make the game worthwhile. What do you end up with? The clustercluck that IS swtor.
  14. ALL the hardcore players left within the first 2 months, then you had the next tier of raiders get bored, then they left, then the next month the next tier left. Eventually all you had left is what you got now, fanbois, drones and poorly motivated no skill gamers. HOW is it the hardcore players fault? THEY posted for months on the forums to make things harder to create more open faction conflict to focus on what WORKS in an mmo. But no, instead developers listened to the casuals, gave them access to ALL content on easy mode (Nightmare mode in SWTOR is easy, what should take months to complete was done in days) Sure the poorer players took longer but even they have completed everrything within a few months. You cannot blame the hardcore for what has happened to TOR, they tried to save it by posting in beta forums and early access forums that the game is too easy. All i have seen from fainbois and casuals is deluded posts like the game is awesome and nothing is wrong (something i swear the devs see and believe, even when they are sacking staff, closing/merging servers and going F2P within its first year!!). Sadly i still see the devs listening to them, if you read the beta and PTS forums they spell out plainly what needs to be done, they are screwing up F2P model and now the last hope for TOR is the SSSP, all the evidence is pointing to that being messed up too. It is not the hardcore players that are at fault it is the Devs listening to farmville players wanting to be able to complete ALL content and not be buutthurt too much in BG's etc, do that and the game is a joke.
  15. NO the hardcore were posting week after to week to have MORE open world faction conflict, to RAISE the difficulty level on ops and to extend how long it takes to level to 50. The game has not reflected ANY of these points, you sir are completely oblivious to its problems, as a matter of fact i would say you think the game is a success and perfectly developled. The game is aimed at poorly motivated players with minimal skill requirements to complete content.
