  1. Oh dear so just because a class doesn't output 10mill dmg in a warzone it means they are useless, seriously get over yourself. Part of the reason in some warzones that the dps are allowed to output that 10mill dmg (note figure may be exaggerated for the purposes of statement) is because the healers are still alive due to the job that the tanks are doing. If the tanks suddenly stop doing that job the healers are getting globaled by swarms of dps that dmg output your so proud of will simply vanish because you wont stay alive long enough to actually manage it.
  2. Why?.. why is it that you think an ability that requires another player not just the person playing the tank class to be effective needs a change?. I don't want to play a hybrid im perfectly happy with the spec I have full immortal is viable and fun to play (frustrating at times though it may be), I don't need to churn out dmg to provide something for my team I can already do this through the abilities I have. There are some great healers out there who know exactly what's required and its a genuine pleasure in the very few warzones to find that to pvp with them. I don't want an ability that just becomes some ezmode self buff which is further dumbing down the game.
  3. Why is there this obsession with changing guard either nerfing its dmg transference or giving it a cooldown to prevent quick swapping. There isn't anything wrong with it in the first place, the only people who complain are tunnel vision focused dps who don't have either the skill or the intelligence level to actual realise that they aren't smashing down the target in front of them and switch their focus to another target. Guard is not a one man invulnerability show it doesn't matter how good the tank is if the teammates don't provide back up then I can guard as many people as I like and it wont make any difference to the match outcome. I can only guard one person at a time so unless the warzone consists of 4 people with guard on the other 4 members of the warzone there will be a free target to attack who isn't guarded (and before anyone says what about the hybrids using guard if there is a hybrid dps running in the appropriate form to use guard they arnt doing their job which is to be dps'ing away at the opposition) There are a multitude of ways to get round guard, put cc on the tank, pull guarded person out of the 15m range rendering it useless, force the tank to move by dropping vast amounts of aoe on the area (is if that happens the tank is taking transferred dmg and direct dmg), as previously mentioned attack an unguarded target. Pvp isn't about a mass dps race and if you think that it is then this isn't the game for you. Im sure people will say other wise but tactics are required to win pvp matches (not taking into account the screw ups with bolster) at the rate people are screaming for nerfs soon it will will just be 8 dps vs 8 dps and that will just be seriously boring.
  4. It seems to be that people who are screaming for nerfs to guard in pvp are the people just don't play tanks in pvp. My job in pvp is not to put out massive dmg and nuke people down, its to stand there and take a pummelling on behalf of other players and provide support for my team. Guard, intercede, taunts, intimidating roar, force push (to get someone away from my guarded target. If I finish a match having done 300k+ protection and it was a victory that was a good job done as that has probably prevented about 10 deaths fro my side. However guard is only an effective tool if the tank knows how to use it and if the healers understand what it means. If I don't stand within 15m of the guarded target then the guard does nothing, if the healers don't realise that as a result of the guard I will be taking more dmg than normal its a waste of time as I will probably die very quickly. The reason people object to guard is when you get that one match in ten where a healer knows exactly what im doing and the result of it is that I can run around interceding to targets swapping guard and dropping taunts and mezz and not dying. And that is my contribution to the match. Taking away anything from the ability to use guard makes (and this is from an immortal juggernaut perspective) that spec completely useless. The dmg output for an immortal tank is laughable you could sit and hammer away at people all day and not make a jot of difference so it certainly isn't the dmg output that we bring to pvp. If we loose the ability to be an effective guard the spec is gutted and it might as well not be used in pvp.

I do see exactly where your coming from with that but I believe that Dark Council would choose not to interfere and would probably ignore any requests from the Wrath for help (or be very very slow in delivering any). They would see that as weakness on the Wraths part to require their services, and from their own standpoint the elimination of the Wrath is a good political and tactical move to consolidate their own power.
  7. I would have said its all kind of relative. In a straight up lightsaber fight the Wrath is clearly the more powerful. But the whole point of the Inquisitor is that they would never let it get to that point. Why fight someone on their own ground if they can beat you. Isn't it far more sensible to use the power that the Inquisitor wields with the Moffs/Navy (I.e. the Silencer). Ambush the Wrath in Deep space using your own private battle fleet (something the wrath can never have access to due to his lack of political and military ties) and eliminate the threat without ever having to go anywhere near him. All those vaunted lightsaber skills and force mastery is nothing staring down the cannons of several Imperial Dreadnaughts. Threat eliminated and in in the traditional style of a true Sith Lord you didn't have to go anywhere near your target or risk anything
  8. If they attempt another sever rollback without serious compensation i suspect there will be alot of people who will have had enough of this and just stoop playing the game
  9. Off the scale levels of lag at moment i think i was at 40000 ms when i finaly got booted
  10. If you really want the hood up look just go and get the matrix piece from the torvix daily in the black hole. It has a nice look and comes with a hood up. Or you could pull one of the protoype paragon lvl 50 chests off the GTN i think thats the one with hood up and use either of those as a shell to put your mods in. If you going jugg dont use a piece of medium armour its not worth it.
  11. Yeah that change to my spec was interesting. I think im helped out more by the fact i have my augments in now wich has given a nice hp boost and a slight dmg increase. I do still get mauled by certain classes but i feel im providing more utility now.
  12. Thanks for the replys i might have a mess arround with my spec and see I did just have the enlightening experience of getting a healer who knew what they were doing, knew i had guard up on them and promptly stood on top of me the entire time at a turret in civil war and no one could shift us.
  13. Warhammer online had some of the best pvp ive ever played bar none... sure there were some class ballance issue like DOK and WP and Bright Wizard bombing but at least you could have fun. I remember keep battles going on for 45 mins or more at a time. But i see exactly where your coming from unfortunatly
