  1. I know this is silly. But I would kill for some normal shoes. Not boots or sandals or anything. Just...Shoes. Also, something with a business tie would be killer.
  2. I wouldn't phrase it like that (I work as a CSR Rep, so its more of a personal thing), but I agree with the direction of this post. FRIENDSHIP GUYS. FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC. Or something. Maybe legos. ANYWAY, NEW RACE. Wooo! And its one I'm excited about too!
  3. I suppose your right in that regard. I always viewed FPs as more lore content or filler, like Class story. Guess that's a failure with my way of thinking. Carry on. Do you think they might mention a release date for the New Species?
  4. Def me. My first MMO was SWTOR. I was excited, made a sage, and got going. Did pretty well. Choose the healing tree. I was asking my friends quite a few questions, and they got tired of it and I shut up. Thing is, I shut up before level 20, and more importantly, before stats were explained to me. You see, I was under the impression that like KOTOR, with enough skill you could get by anything regardless of gear. And I was skilled with the button pressing, I was complimented so many times on my healing being better then everyone else, it was crazy. I hit 30. To be really precise, I hit Alderaan. And I died, Alot. I mean, Alot. I find out that I need willpower gear from a mate in the gen chat. So, I decide ill start paying attention to my gear, and bought a set of gear for willpower class. Cost me all of my money. I Proceed to wipe A TON on my Chap 1 boss. Like, I spent a week on this guy. Turns out, the enemy has channels too, and one of them was "Force Crush", And I hadn't noticed it the entire time. (It was one-shotting me) Huh. Didn't know that. I take the knowledge and move on. I keep dying, and keep dying, and keep dying, and by the time I hit Corellia, Im lucky if me and Iresso are staying in one piece after engaging a group with no Strongs or Champions in it. I was working hard on gear, and bought what I thought was weakest with what little money I had. WHY WAS I HAVING PROBLEMS? So I open up to my friends again. And they inspect me. And they laughed. For you see, I had figured that I needed Absorb and Shield and Defense to help my bubble stay up longer. So I ACTIVELY SOUGHT OUT SHEILD, ABSORB, and DEFENSE on a HEALING SAGE. And I didn't have much money, so I just sought to increase my stats with what I could afford. On Corellia, at level 50 I had a average gear level of 39 greens. And Irresso, Heh. You would think he was equipped by cannibals along the amazon river. Also had under 600 main stat too. So ya, Noob adventure all the way to 50.
  5. Honestly though, you have to admit. What could be better then "Cross Server PVP?" Heh. Anyway, If they talk about the Costume designer, I would be very happy.
  6. I can't remember the exact statement, but one of the dev's said something along the lines that the "Better than cross-server" thing wasn't intended to be said like it was, and it would be impossible to do "Better than cross server" pvp to help queues or something to that effect.
  7. I typically dont post, but I cant take it anymore. This PVP stuff. I understand, I get it. I have the advantage of Playing BOTH PVP and PVE. Lets lay down a simple rough timeline, and simple facts. Please note, that I am not focusing on balance, this is more about content and "Abandoning" a group vs anything else. Dread Fortress/Dread Palace were released back in October 2013. OCTOBER 2013. Shadow of Revan was accessible to PART of the SWTOR community on Dec 1st, 2014. There is a 14 month gap there! And before someone mentions anything about HM and NIM, let me point out that NIM and HM modes would be INSANELY easier than doing all the math to try to figure out balance, or designing a WZ that can have next to no bugs where you could get stuck (Thanks to the Hero Engine's Method of handling Meshes, I assume). Your just adding Mechanics that are meant to PROBABLY kill people, not ensure surviability to a reasonable degree or try to bring 8 separate classes that should theoretically be completely different come out to do the roughly the same amount of damage (Let But lets ignore the balance again.) Conversely the newest Huttball map came out on April 8th, 2014. Compared to the above, it has been 11 months. And during our current drought, they have been working on class balance and even went so far as to re-do skill trees, which was a move that really only Benefited PVPers. Yes, PVErs got some benefits out of it, I wont lie. But the Hybrid specs would have probably been left alone if it wasn't for the mess they were making in PVP. Also, historically speaking, PVP balance has always been favored over PVE balance. Not always of course, saying such would be stupid, but for sure favored. Now I won't lie and say that we playing PVP have the golden apple, and PVErs have nothing, because thats not true. But if you look at the facts, if you want to Call PVP abandoned, you have to call PVE abandoned as well, as more care is taken with PVP than PVE. Once PVE is released, a few adjustments are made and its left alone. PVP gets alot more via micro updates then that. Like I said, I understand what your saying, playing PVP myself. And I won't say they have done a Fantastic, or great job on the PVP. I would hope for new maps more frequently then what we are getting. I would like class balance done faster. I would REALLY like them to add a new objective to PVP, or do something more with space. But us PVPers DO NOT have any ground to stand on to be claiming that PVP has been Abandoned due to all the micro patches, and the fact that we haven't hit a year and 2 months, unlike the last PVE patch before SOR. I apologize if I have offended anyone. This is not directed at anyone, heck, I've been typing so much I'm not even sure if I'm on the right thread anymore. Its just, the abandon theme I see so much...And it drives me crazy! Its not that we have been abandoned, its just that they are slow with content!
  8. You Gunnery? If so, try the DOT Spec. It is currently one of the best Damage specs in the game.
  9. Seriously, I have more choice then before. As far as skill trees VS Disciplines go, Disciplines win hands down for me because I can now spec for more useful talents than ever before. In PVE, I can literally justify changing my bonus talents nearly every other fight. Now, them moving some of the stuff around or redesigning talents and what/not IDK. I don't like the changes to Annihilation Mara, and while the trees for the PT are fixed, its been there for so long I really would have preferred that they had left it alone (Seriously, those two abilities should have been on the other trees from the start, Thermal Dets are still in the pre-refinement stage for the era, and the top talent on AP was a fire based talent, and should have always been on the other tree.) Also, I can't say for PVP as I don't do much PVP, but among most Hardcore PVErs, All bounty hunter specs besides Gunnery/Arsenal are currently considered "The Golden Specs of 3.0". Vanguard tanking has crazy mobility and boosted AOE holding abilities, innovative Ordinance has some of the best burst in the game, in raw output pyro outdoes IO, Merc/Commando Healers currently have some of the best burst healing and are now wayyy mobile vs before. Seriously, its almost all the PVE community talks about in regards to DPS.
  10. Can we have a cartel clothing item that has actual shoes? Not like, Short boots, or super short boots or boots that ride up to my toon's butt, but something resembling actual shoes? I have gone through every orange I can find, and I can't find a single item with actual, day to day normal shoes. Also, I Have not found anything with a dress tie either. That would be cool too. Maybe something like a Czerka Business Tuxedo with shoes to nail both of the items in this suggestion. Anyway, thanks for listening.
  11. Well, on the same note, there is practicality to consider. There are not too many shapes that are truly viable in space warfare for frontal assaults, when you think about it. A ship that has a "Pyramid shape" (If you look at it directly from the front, and supposing the pyramid is on its side) can maximize its DPS because if it gets in a battle that its able to face its enemy, it can bring both its left and right, along with its top and bottom turrets to bear on the target. If the target decides to get close enough where a broadside is the only option, its sloped design allows it to bring half of its arms to bear---Turrets from the top and bottom on whatever side. MOST any other ship that doesn't have a sloped design that is frigate size or larger can only bring half of its weapons to bear, because without a sloped design turrets would get in the way of each other in a frontal assault.--In other words, most any ship that doesn't have a sloped design is only practical in a broadside assault and would be wasting turret space in a frontal assault due to its own super-structure/weaponry being in its way. There are other alternatives, of course, but I couldn't really recommend any of them for your 3 largest vessel types. For example, if you had a narrow ship with turrets at the top and bottom, then you could bring all turrets on your ship to bear in a broadside----But this would mean A.) You don't have all that many turrets to start with because your ship is narrow and missing space for more turrets, or B.) You have a narrow ship that will break in half under sustained fire on the narrow portions (critical weakness in the nebulon-B frigate this). Of course, this would also only be a viable design in a broadside attack--Other wise you could only fire your frontal turrets in a frontal assault, as the other turrets would get in the way. I suppose you could angle the ship so you fired all of your top or all of your bottom turrets at the target, but this brings up other issues. There are other alternatives, of course...But the triangle design is one of the most sturdy and versatile ship designs purely because it allows you to double the amount of firepower in a frontal assault(Cause you can use your left and right side turrets), would be on equal ground in a broadside with any ship that is made for broadside attacks, and provides enough superstructure to make it a sturdier ship then most other designs would permit. TLDR: Triangle sloped ships are one of a few superior ship designs because they allow one to maximize turrets brought to bear in frontal assaults
  12. So I just more or less link a item into the chat bar? Does this mean, that the ops leader, if he is linking a item in chat of his own that is unbound(That was in his inventory before the ops), could accidentally let someone else take his item?
  13. How would you go about linking a item to /roll?
  14. Been playing the game since launch, but only recently got into the good stuff like FP and Ops. Anyway, Im finding myself leading our small guild's operations and FPs, and have encountered requests for Master loot with pugs mixed in with our group. What is master loot, and can someone tell me how to use it?
