  1. I believe the correct reply to OP would be something like...."You're bad. Moving on.". But seriously, the missions aren't hard at all. You should be failing once, at most, to learn the pathing/mechanics. If you're failing more than twice then these aren't for you. Games in general aren't for you, and you should feel lucky you never had to play NES/Sega/Atari games since you're obviously in the infinite life/checkpoint generation of gamers.
  2. It really varies. I do the daily/weekly hm's on 3 50's. Now there are some weeks where every day my pug goes smooth, no issues and about as fast as a group of people I actually know and play with. But then there are other days/weeks where it seems like I'm stuck with people who can't seem to form a coherent thought. The sort of people who can't even understand basic directions. So....yeah, it really fluxuates.
  3. Ummmm....ok? Is this supposed to be some sort of an accomplishment? He's been two manned before, and that was about 10 months ago.
  4. I've read a lot of complaints and what have you regarding the new space missions. I finish them all, and get every bonus available, while only using my mouse and barrel roll key. So no, you don't need to do anything special, you don't need to force yourself to use this set up or those keys specifically, just......maybe pay attention? I don't know, but they're not hard.
  5. Sith diary 1 Fear The tool of the sith, it can bring down people, leaders, even entire planets. Fear will destroy all but the sith. I started the day with a screaming Sith pure blood in my face. Although he was sith in race, he was not a Sith in power, not until he beat us all in the trails, which he swore he could. "By the force, you cannot believe you have a chance at beating me in the trails. I am Sith! You are... Alien!!!" "Zabrak. I am a zabrak..." I replied. Being a Zabrak, I was considered 'alien' to the sith empire. My bright orange skin was rare, especially combined with the blue hair weaved in plaits between my crown of tribal horns. My species also knew how to be very independent, and while the fellow trainees would be either cowering in fear or begging for forgiveness by now, I was still making idiotic comments in his ugly slimy face. "Beg for forgiveness, alien slave." He ignited his red lightsabre "Before you lose an arm!" I laughed. "Have you not forgotten that I have not been a slave for almost 3 years." I reached for my own lightsabres, "Anyway. Forgiveness is not the way of the sith" I ignited the yellow sabres and lunged at the Slime. He evaded. He threw in his own strike, which took off one of my horns. "You moron!!!" I screamed. "Learn your place weakling, or you won't make it to the trails, at least you might die with some honour there." I sighed, I really needed to improve my sabre skills if I was going to beat him in the trails. I hoped I would have to fight him, he would make a damn good kill. I would take his life or die trying. If I did that I had a good chance of becoming a Darth, and I could leave my Alien name behind. My birth name is Kham, but I am known to all but one as Alien. The one person who calls me by my name is a Twi'lek named Eluna. She is possibly the closest thing I have to a friend, and if we must fight in the trails, it would be a shame. As soon as slime left (I never called him by his first name, which was Ka'bish) Eluna ran up to me. As well as being a skilled fighter, Eluna had a talent of healing. Even though was a Jedi skill, she still studied and improved her healing in spare time. "Kham! Are you okay? If he had been 2 inches closer to your head, you could be dead!" She said, so quickly I could barely make out what she was saying. Eluna was a very good sith, but she had a caring heart; I feared this could mean her end in the Trails in a days time. "I'm fine," I mumbled, "but I feel quite humiliated, horns are of huge importance to a zabrak's honour..." Oh well, I thought, at least I could use this as rage if I fought Ka'bish, which could give me some power against him. I spent the rest of the day sparring with training droids, improving my strength and tactics was essential. At last it was time for our daily meal. I was starved, but I ignored the weakness. As I entered the hall, I saw Eluna on the floor. Her lower legs were completely gone, the cauterised wound still giving off smoke. Her eyes flashed over to me. "Kham! Look out, Ka'bish and his thugs are knocking out the other contestants! They WILL kill you, you're the strongest opposition to them... Be... Carefu-" she fainted, her pale blue lekku had stopped moving, but I could sense that she was living. Suddenly, the Slime appeared behind me. He brought his sabre to my waist, but I blocked the fatal strike with ease. We had been fighting back and forth for over ten minutes before Darth Zani came into the room. "Cease your fighting at once!!!" She yelled, "you must not fight until the trails!" The slime opened his mouth "I am sorry Lord Zani, but I was trying to defend the poor Twi'lek after this savage alien took her legs. I did the best I could, but I fear it may be to late..." I started to feel the rage tower up inside me. "STOP IT. YOU ARE LYING!!!" I ran up to the Sith blood; Ka'bish was no more. I looked at Lord Zani, and then to Eluna. Then Darth Zani did something I didn't expect. She started to clap. "You have used your rage, and that made you powerful. Alien, I grant you rank of Sith apprentice, MY apprentice." She removed her hood, and to my surprise, a crown of ten perfectly shaped horns, and her tattoos covered her face in darkness. I would no longer be an alien alone; I would be an alien with my master. "Yes," I bowed low to the floor, "my master." "Rise, Darth... Ira, and become my new apprentice. Together, we will show what us 'Aliens' can do!" She let out a dark cackle, and walked towards the door "Now, lets help your friend get home!"
  6. It didn't fail. It was marketed as a story driven MMO for casual gamers, and that's exactly what it was and still is. What failed was people expected it to come out with as many raids as WoW has, all expansions combined.
  7. I tend to get around 20 grade 6 purple slicing components a day. Try maxing out companion affection, it helps.
  8. It seemed like it might have been out of control, but about three days after the heroic space missions came out I was buying grade 7 ship parts for 50k each. Took a good chunk of money to get them all, but made half of it back on the first day. So in retrospect...not really.
  9. Dual spec you say? Par 200k once and you can respec anywhere for free as many timse as you like, if you're a subscriber. Before you say anything about "200k is blahblahblah." it's maybe a day of dailies, more likely half a days worth of dailies though.
  10. They didn't ignore any and all suggestions by beta testers pre-launch. In fact, they implemented and changed quite a few things due to beta testers feedback. Don't lump everyone else in with your "they didn't listen to ME." complaint.
  11. So, people who raid and get every piece of the new PvE set should have the advantage in PvP? As opposed to people who purely PvP? You're basically saying that they have an unfair advantage and you think that you should have that unfair advantage instead. What you're saying is you want the tables turned, and people who only PvP should have inferior gear in PvP than you.
  12. Considering the fact that I have more credits than I can spend, without buying random junk on the gtn that I'd never actually use, I think it's fine. In fact, I like the fact that I can make my droid a little more useful for crafting. Especially considering it's across all characters. And one million credits is nothing.
  13. There were no prequels. The prequels were a lie. And no, this era, or even the KOTOR era is far superior to the film eras. Yes, I loved the trilogy, and despised the fake episodes 1, 2, and 3. Maybe some day George will let that lady who wrote the original trilogy rewrite his catastrophes.
  14. I'm not even sure what the problem is tbh. I went in with good gear and specced as a tank. Between Kira and I we completely dominated him. Guard Kira and keep sunders on him. Should be pretty simple past that. Kira got kind of low, but I never dropped below half.
  15. Since 1.4 I've had the same stuttering issues that a lot of people have reported. Not a fps drop, just stuttering. It's worse in certain areas. The one thing I have noticed, though, is after 1.4 I was getting some artifacting in space missions. Now...it's getting progressively worse. It's expanded to artifacts popping up even when I'm outside of space missions. I'm running a 560 ti, which we all know can handle this game on max settings easily. I've tested the card outside of the game, on quite a few other games, and no issues whatsoever. Which, of course, leads me to believe that it's patch related.
