  2. The RPG Invitational is an open event hosted by Distant Fantasies for all online role players. As a part of our community for all initiative we are reaching out to role players across the internet and inviting you all to celebrate everything that is RP! There will be discussions, a chance to meet new people and more importantly have fun! There are absolutely NO obligations involved and the whole event is open to guests - so you don't even need to register to join in! The event runs from the 1st July to the 30th September so there is plenty of time to take part We would really like to see some WoW Rpers there, so any help spreading the world is much appreciated! We hope to see you there soon! http://board.distant-fantasies.net/forum/254-2014-invitational/
  3. Downtime in a new game and after a new patch is to be expected as you say. However, doing it during prime playing time for countries outside the US is just ignorant, rude and makes playing the game downright pointless. You have different country servers but what's the point? Everything is done by American time and before you say that it's an American company... yes it is, but other MMOs are run by American companies and manage to have separate downtime for correct timezones so that people can still play. Bioware isn't a little newbie company who just decided to create a new MMO. They should know how to handle their customer base properly and not just the American ones.
  4. Oh wow that's a hard question! I think I'm going to have to pick two; Shadows of the Empire and Survivor's Quest.
  5. It's good to see the game getting other people hooked on the novels, I've been reading them for over a decade now and highly recommend them. The list Djabelek gave you is a good place to start. There are basically books set before each trilogy, between the films, after the original trilogy and then thousands of years before. I recently got the Jedi Path for my birthday which is basically a handbook for Jedi and has been annotated by characters as if it really was passed down from Master to Padawan. It explains a lot about the Jedi training and such which I've found really useful when playing the beta.
