  1. I haven't played pvp in about... 2 years? I came back recently, and I don't know how I managed to play PVP back then. Maybe I didn't, I probably stumbled around just as much. But then I don't remember how it was, so I don't notice the changes.
  2. Does it work? When i apply keys for it and use them in game nothing happens, but i figure since they are there they ought to do something?
  3. You're not alone, even when i have them in my target, i rarely see damage flying. I'll either keep trying until i get it or until i realise i can't do it.
  4. game got slightly better when i dissbled the second monitor, but it shouldn't be like that so. /signed
  5. Right now i suck so i hate it, but i want to love it, so i keep trying like a masochist.
  6. Hey, i've been looking forward to this dlc for a while, however it seems like i suck at this game that it's become more of a drag and pain than anything else for me now. I can fire and fire and fire at an enemy and not get close to finishing em off, then i'm attacked and it takes a few seconds and i'm dead. No i'm not playing scout. And then, when i finally manage to get the enemy player down to low health, someone else does the killshot. When i use ion to lower the shields of the enemy it's up quickly before i can fire with the regular guns. Maybe i should try scout more, it's at least more manoeuvrable than gunship. I am switching between the shield gunfire and engine when it seems needed. Like i prioritize engine at the beginning to get to a node, then weapons, and shield when attacked. So for those who's got a handle, or those who didn't and now do. What did you learn?
  7. I queue while doing class quests, at times i get too far with class quests i'll end up doing just pvp for a while. As for xp in pvp, i haven't really paid attention until this double xp thing, but i often get much more xp from pvp than class, and at times less. So it feels like it flattens out.
  8. I'm not a big mmo player, and when I have played I've avoided pvp because I'm a sissy. Buuut... I decided to give it a try eventually, and started to love it. I've done some beginner mistakes, like not knowing what to do with the huttball. "AHHHH, how do I pass this, what the ****." And when I find the huttball in my quickbar, I click it, I click it "Why isn't it passing.." Etc. Hypergates, not knowing what that awful sound is for, why people are running to the middle. Defending the left node in Alderaan, seeing a friendly dying in a 1vs1 fight by the underground entrance. After a moment of thinking I figure I should run down and give him a quick helping hand with my gunslinger. While I do this I keep turning around to see if there is a stealther trying to take the node, I see nothing. Even when we kill the enemy player and I'm running back to the node I see nothing, and then... It's red. But the one i'm really embarrassed about was in huttball after knowing some of the ropes. I don't know how i managed, (which now almost frightens me) but i ran with the ball in the wrong direction. I was wondering where all the red was, and then i see a friendly jumping out of the spawn room... Aaand i realise I've been going the wrong way, but it didn't hurt the team, but still.
  9. Yeah i've noticed some unlock after completing other quests. But we've all done the same side quests, and this wasn't a heroics. But maybe we should have seen if he could have gotten it after completing the class quest as far as the other warrior had. But i had hoped that class quest didn't matter with the unlocking of side quests. And seeing as it has happened before, i'm just wondering what we might be doing wrong, or there is a problem in the game.
  10. Hi. We are a group of 4 players playing together, two Sith inquisitors, and two warriors. I was told that sidequests have to do with level and not how much of class quests you've done. But as we play together, the inquisitors got a quest the warriors couldn't take, even though we were the same level, and it wasn't a class quest. Later on one of the warriors managed to get the same quest (Jailbreak on Koriban), after he scanned an aditional sith for another quest, in which the inquisitors hadn't. The last warrior could not get the Jailbreak quest. 1. Sith Warrior (no Jailbreak): at class quest: A New Master (same as inquisitors) 2. Sith Warrior (+Jailbreak): at class quest: Sith Arithmetic (Ahead of Inquisitors) 3. Sith inquisitor (+Jailbreak): at The Secret of Tulak Hord 4. Sith inquisitor (+Jailbreak): at The Secret of Tulak Hord The quest level is 1 i believe. And we were all level 7. And i've had this happen with others i group with, that even though we are on the same level, and the side quest is not a class one, the other can't take it on different planets. We felt like not doing the class quests at the same time because it became a mess, and focus on the sidequests. But yeah.. What may cause this? We couldn't share either.
