  1. Bha, Darth Nox is the emperor's equal in every respect. The spirit walking ritual and devourer of the dead thing work just as fine as his world-destroying magic. It works like this: Every time you kill someone, their spirit is turned into force magic known as XP. Amass enough XP and the Emperor will be no match! Srsly, how many npcs have all Darth-noxes killed so far ? I think the emperor is outclassed.
  2. I'm locked out of early access because i didn't understand the advertising. Still mad about that. Seen the expansion at a friend's tough. But the level sync feature is excellent. Modifications to companions, i loved they seem so powerful now. the presentation and rest of the changes, excellent. And the story is just amazing. Loved this new take on villains, allies, and everything else. And spoting a companion character from time to time (somtimes incidental, sometimes taking centerstage) is excellent. Also, it's not just the story but how the cinematics and camera are used. It looks like a series. Hat off to you guys, give all the $$$ to the writers and the people behind the custscenes.
  3. Misleading advertising. I subbed last month because i read the sign saying "Choose to be a suscriber betwen X and X". The only reward i wanted was the early access. I do not care if there was a sign at the end explaining, I only ready the initial big sign and it was not inmediately self explanatory. Why was the early access reward still advertised after the date to get it was gone by ? And if you go on to say I didn´t read the fine print, then well oh snap, The company has succeeded twice! Made me buy their product, not get what I thought i was paying for, then made me feel stupid for not reading the fine print. Definitely buyers beware.
  4. I like this story. And i don't have a problem with the story being unified if the story is epic. Just like kotor, Dragon Age , Mass Effect, Baldurs gate, etc. Remember you had all those different shinny classes but just one story. As far as the novel "Revan" i could not care less for the novels. This series needs a bad guy and the dreadmasters, the cuthulu abominations, Revan or the hutts aint gonna cut it long term. Seriously not. -jeez now i just realized how much i hated the dreadmaster story arc-. What i mean, this story needs an Irenicus, a Malak, a Loghain, or Sarevok. Remember Saren anyone ? THose guys gave so much joys when saying their lines and breaking everything to pieces! Going dragon age II style with bad guys of the week is not the way to go. Long live the emperor and let him die in a loud bang in the end!
  5. I think Vitiate has stolen so much power that he clearly his power is "Over 9000" if you want to measure it. However, his physical incarnations are so much weaker and can be destroyed by someone with enough determination. Sidious would fry him every single time even if he resurrected 20 times over. If he could somehow unify all his "Floating around" power, sure, but we´ve seen that his power is impractical, depending on rituals, inept acolytes and madmen, and prone to being twarted at every turn. Sidious is an expert at having people killed, he would find it easy to annihilate vitiate´s powerbase before he got off the ground. Not to mention Sidious has so much old knowledge favoring him, he surely could devise some way to put the genie back in the bottle.
  6. Selling Battlemaster and War hero schematics on the GTN! Buy them today!
  7. The imperial march is in the game ONLY for a VERY BRIEF moment during the Sith Inquisitor campaign, and its not in orchestral form. No, one of the inquisitor's love interests will hum it after spending some time alone with the inquisitor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=813zCcHivCw
  8. That is the suggestion! Want to know if there are other people seconding the motion that crafters should be given more toys so we dont have to compete with cartel market so blatantly! Say Yea or Nay in response to this post!
  9. A BIG part of the playerbase wants the class stories expanded or continued, but this does not seem to be feasible short of an enormous expansion the likes of wich has not yet been done in Swtor. Still, the game campaign has advanced with a single line campaign followed by all characters. I was wondering if the Strongholds expansion will be used in the future to continue the class stories so they would no longer be tied in to the game´s most recent campaign or expansion. The Stronghold would provide a logical hub for all the characters in a player´s account to gather followers, npcs, recieve and initiate missions, etc., without requiring special bending of the quests and missions available. This would be a particular relief given where some of the class stories end what with a character being basically the greatest jedi/sith/bounty hunter/smuggler/agent/trooper that ever lived, it seems much more logical that missions would come to THEM instead of them having to continue on the run with their ships and rag-tag crews. Instead of writters being forced to add a new planet with a main storyline and THEN be forced as well to tie in quests that the characters can do as they go, new planets could be added independently of class quests, wich could continue within the Stronghold and then set the player to travel to locations included in new or old planets previously visited. I´d like to know if something like this has been planed by developers.
  10. As i went trough the description of the new expansion, i noticed this Customize Your Strongholds Display trophies earned in battle, craft state-of-the-art furniture, and unlock all-new rewards across the game. Then customize your Strongholds with hundreds of unique decorations to express your personal style. Now I´m curious, about how will crafting come to life in the expansion and what kind of goods will you be able to craft for your stronghold.
  11. Dear Devs: The schematics for battlemaster and war hero are sometimes selling for sky-high prices on the GTN. Just wondering, is it "safe" to assume the gtn will remain the only place to get them, thus making them a good investment of your hard earned credits, so you can stash them for friends who are leveling synthweaving, or will they be returning in a future update ?
  12. Droid Class. The story told from the point of view of a sentient droid as its czerka creators try to recapture. As the droid manages to escape, it must decide wether to flee into the empire territory, or to the republics planets. Two subclasses Siege droid Skill trees: High energy shielding Abilities focused around a tank spec, using deploying probes that generate powerful shields to stop dmg, and area energy shields that protect allies and hinder enemies within the effect radious. Also, the ultimate ability to create an impenetrable barrier that dmgs and pushes back enemies for a few seconds. Siege fortification: Abilities focused on deploying combat probes that deploy into static turrets of different types, attacking enemies within their range, and also seting up explosive mines of different types. Also, the ability to create a temporary player manned turret for a few seconds (can be used by the droid, or other players in the same group). Droid commander Skill trees: Droid Warriors: Abilities focused on summoning, commanding and buffing different types of droid warriors wich act as tanks or dps. Also, the ability to summon a player manned spider-droid that can be used to attack for a few seconds with abilities of its own (can be used by the droid or other characters in the same group). Droid support: A support tree, wich deploys probes that aid allies within range recharging their hitpoints and their energy resources (Energy battery probe, holocron repository probe, Kolto pulse probe). Also, allows deploying probes with the opposite effects for area limited area dps and hinder effects. Finally, an ultimate that deploys a probe scattering random powerups aroundthe area to greatly buff allies. Shared tree: Heavy weapons Skill tree focused on missile and energy attacks, mostly channeled abilities. Also, an ultimate ability wich allows the droid to fire all weapons at once at a single point, breaking the targets shield and imunity abilities and dealing medium damage, only usable when such defensive abilities are present.
  13. All of these should prompt a popup for the target player to ask if they want to participate of the emote. Lighting block: One players emits lightning, the other blocks it with his lightsaber eventually being defeated or successfully resisting, at random. Saber duel: The two players lock in a lightsaber duel with a repeating pattern, resulting in one defeating the other, at random. Force duel: The two players attempt to knock each other back with the force, resulting in one or both being knocked down, at random. Dark side duel: The two players emit lighting at each other, resulting in one defeating the other, or both being knocked down, at random. Missile attack: one player shoots three missiles at the other one, resulting in either all of them being dodged or one of them hitting the target Blaster duel: Two players draw blasters at each other, resulting in one of them, or both being shot, at random Carbonite stream: One player shoots a carbonite stream at another one. The frozen character breaks free or remains frozen, at random.
  14. That would give people some incentive to sell those greens, blues and purples if they were cheaper to repair than the ever-present orange stuff.
  15. Dear mods! I had a blast learning all the orange schematics I could these last days, but ill soon know all the recipes and all that remains is selling stuff. I think that shouldn't happen. Please, if you could pass it to the designers, tell them to add more hidden schematics that are either hidden or hard to get. -orange schematics that you can buy from reputation vendors. -orange schematics that you can buy only after specific achievments -orange schematics that you can only buy after achieving certain legacy levels -orange schematics that you can buy only after certain valor levels. And all of these should have valor requeriments. -orange schematics that you can buy only after certain social levels. And these should have social requeriments. -orange VERY rare schematics that you can only get with the seeker droid Also, one thing I love is the special reward for those who keep their profession. That happens specifically with the battlemaster and war hero schematics. If you bought them when they were available, you now have recipes that can no longer be acquired in the game. Please, add schematics that get periodically sold out every year. That extra reward makes those designs super rare as time goes by, and allows the crafter to be rewarded as time goes on. I understand why you don't allow us to make adaptive gear, its the perk of the cartel market. However, we should not be competing with the cartel market. Cartel market should continue to grow and provide iconic class armors that you cannot normally use due to your class. We, however, should provide unique class specific armors, on top of the augment business. Loving the crafting so far!
