  1. Might as well mention it here, when you throw the MD-5 Shock Viper Viroblade with a Juggernaut's saberthrow, for the animation it changes into a lightsaber (which does have the same colour as the crystal that it has modded into it).
  2. Was doing some random stuff with my Operative ^^ http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y447/LegendOfShadows/Mallea_zps3bf1e9e6.png
  3. Great post OP, really a nice idea! I've seen a lot of acts of kindness and I try to help other people as well, but I think that one of the biggest help I've received was back in January last year. I just started playing the game and decided to subscribe, even tho I had never managed to level a character past level 15 in any other MMO. So I rolled my consular and on Tython I met another guy who rolled a consular as well. We did the Heroic together if I recall right, and because we were from the same country we talked a lot. Anyhow, we both went Sage heal and on Coruscant he at some point was looking for people to do a H4. I decided to tag along, but since we were both heals, he told me to "DPS". This puzzled me, because I had never really played any MMO before. Because of this, I had no idea about even the very basics of what tanks do and what a DPS is. This guy explained the very basics of MMOs to me, which is knowledge that I use even today. I haven't seen him for over a year now, but if he ever reads this, thanks Cilja. Thanks to you I learned the best thing about MMOs, which is having other people to have fun with. And because this thread inspired me I'm going to help newbies on Tython now .
  4. No, that one is obviously unlocked when you are the only non-asteroid class in the game
  5. I like the idea, possible solutions to your question would be: - The player picked is picked random, but the role is fixed. So if the Rotworms get a DPS, then the Frogdogs have a DPS picked as well. Preferably it's the same class as well, because a Sorcerer heal hasn't got the same survivablity as a Mercenary heal, but that'd mean that it'll be harder to get the teams right. For lowbies and midbies, the levels should be about the same, so not that one team has to defend a level 12 Vanguard tank whereas the other team has a level 29 Powertech tank. For 55 this shouldn't be an issue. - I think it would be most interesting if you get the teams to attack and defend at the same time. You could send out all your DPS and defend with the tanks and the heals, but obviously the opponents DPS will pick out the target and the people healing that one, so leaving the heals behind wouldn't work. You could get your tanks to take down the attackers, but they don't deal the damage required to take down the target, which would mean that the DPS have a good chance of killing the target before the Tanks can take them down, even if they are taunting. On the offense, heals are required to keep the DPS alive because otherwise the defending team can just wipe out the attackers. Tanks are required to redirect the damage dealt by the DPS in order to keep the healers and DPS alive. - Stealth cannot be activated while being the VIP, because it'd make it nearly impossible to find and kill the VIP, unless you make the area small. However, a large area to fight would be fun because people have to scout in order to find the VIP and then tell their teammates. If they charge in on their own without warning, the chances are there that the VIP has fled before reinforcements have arrived. In addition, the VIP shouldn't be able to be guarded, so Tanks have to rely on their taunts to get the DPS to disable stuff. Otherwise it'd be too hard to kill the VIP I think. It's not my suggestion, so maybe the one who came up with it will not agree, but just trying to help a bit.
  6. Achievement: Die Hard Rock 'n Roll. How to achieve: Spend a whole match doing barrel rolls without getting killed. Achievement: Never Tell Me The Odds. How to achieve: Participate in a GSF match during which everyone of your and the enemy's team is playing with the Asteroid class.
  7. Seriously, someone should really form a PETJ (People for the Ethical Treatmant of Jawas), because this is really getting out of hand. Jawas are lovely creatures that should be treasured by every race on every planet. I still think that the almighty Blizz should be the successor of the Emperor when (if) the current one dies.
  8. What do you mean, overpowered?
  9. We can play how and where we like best, right? So why are you hating on me or CaparzoLOL? Just because you like being arrogant, it doesn't mean you have the right to ***** at other people.
  10. This is lowbies, why is everyone hating? I can understand it when you are playing Ranked Warzones that it's better if you use keybindings only, but at level 20? And the guy isn't like getting crushed because he's clicking, actually he's being on of the better players during those warzones. So why the hate? If you want to help him to become even better, there are other ways to help them, which people will prefer above "LOL YOU'RE SUCH A N00B!". As for me, I'm partly a clicker as well, but I'm basically on top of every warzone I play, and since I only do lowbies, idgaf about keybindings.
  11. Position: Research Contributor 1 Because I never had a real family. I was taken away from home to become a Sith before I could even remember my mother's face *sniff*. Since my parents apparently didn't want to have me, I tracked them down and slaughtered them. 2. A. Jumped in a Sarlacc and survived. B. My vast collection of the helmets of my fallen enemies. I'm a collector. My first helmet was of a Republic officer who *blablabla*. Yes, I do love my collection. C. Used my skills as a Stealther to enter the Senate Tower and painted "The Sith were here" on the wall. Apparently Republic command wasn't so happy about it. Called it modern vandalism or something like that. They are still looking for the culprit. 3. Well, jumping in a Sarlacc was mainly because of a bet I made with a friend. He's still surprised that I made it out alive. My collection... Well, I think that one helmet illustrates this point the best. It was the one I got during the battle of Alderaan *loads of blablabla*. As you can see, I was dedicated to achieve my goal. Once I know what I want to do, I will accomplish it, no matter what. Unless it involves killing Jawas. You have to make a line somewhere. No one kills Jawas. 4. Moral is something I don't know and understand, unless it involves hurting Ortolans. Those little guys are just too cute to do any harm... 5. Well, first I have the cocktails. You shouldn't fight on an empty stomach. After that I'll hunt down the experiment, and I'll kill it and steal it's helmet. After that, I will go to my esteemed colleague, and I will give him/her the happy choice between jumping in a Sarlacc pit themselves, or being thrown into one by Jawas. If he/she survive the Sarlacc pit and gets out, I'll be merciful and just take his/her head. Without doing any damage to the helmet of course. I still have a helmet which was a great one, but it got some lightsaber damage. It was back in the day of the *and again a lot of blablabla*. I hope you now see why I'm the perfect Sith to work for Czerka. If you disagree, Jawas will throw you into a Sarlacc Pit, Mr. Blys. Though perhaps you can get the rare honor of Ortolans doing it.
  12. I'm going for Operative and Scoundrel. For some reason it's really easy for me to get loads of medals with them. Stealth is such an amazing addition to their arsenal of skills, especially on Voidstar and Hypergate. You'd be amazed by the amount of times two stealth users can capture the pylon in Hypergate, especially when you're playing in the low-leveled WZs. And I just like healing more then tanking or being a DPS, so that makes Scoundrel/Operative better for me then Assassin/Shadow.
  13. Okay, this is a suggestion most people will (understandably) laugh it, but I'd love to see something like the holodisguise that makes you look like a Jawa. It'd be amazing to be there with guild and everyone is running around as Jawas. An Ewok version would be nice as well. Or just something that makes you appear like an alien race that isn't possible to play with (so Wookies, Droids, Yoda race and so on as well). Could you guys please consider this? :3
