  1. Can you guys please stop pretending players are enjoying 7.0 and revert some of the changes you have made? Your team can't be this far underground to be able to claim you "heard 6.0 feedback LOUD AND CLEAR" in another post, yet move forward while ignoring all that was said about 7.0 from the PTS testers now that the "update" is live. The weekly rotation schedule is an unfortunate failure. The damage can absolutely be undone! Implement a system that offers a higher reward for the more difficult flashpoints, but if people still want to run Hammer Station, they will just know they will have to run it 3 times as much! Taking away the choice and adding new completely bugged out and unbeatable Flashpoints is not improving the player experience. I'm so glad to hear you say the team is listening, but you guys have to prove it! Just because people may be bored running the quickest content over and over does not mean the choice should be gone for everyone. That's "solving" an issue by creating a different one. Your team is already implementing some changes to Operations in the future in which running legacy Ops won't net you the highest level of gear (not something I agree with however), but why not do something similar with Flashpoints where if you want to run HS you just have to run it many more times? Give the players that are tired of running the same content an incentive (gearing up faster) to get them running the harder more challenging ones instead. This is also only one tiny gripe with 7.0 as a whole. You guys still sadly delivered an underwhelming update and a delayed and extremely buggy update at that. Show us you all still love the game as much as we do. If that can't be done, what are you all still doing this job for?
  2. You will be required to complete solo conquest objectives (whatever they may be) to get new gear. If a conquest objective specifically requires you to complete a story mission, you would be in luck. If not, you will have to acquire 100k conquest points in a week to meet the weekly target, and that mission completion will reward you with gear.
  3. What I need to know really are two big things in general... Why is the dev team taking active steps BACKWARDS and passing them off as improvements? Next, and I mean this with all sincerity, why is the dev team EXCITED to show any of these changes off? I know that the forums are not read by the dev team and so you are seeing none of this feedback. If it were the case devs actually read the feedback here, this would be a very different expansion. As such, the only way I know how to get anyone's attention that may care is to unsubscribe, which I have already done. I don't understand how decisions can be made and implemented that take away player choice at the same time it is advertised we are somehow getting more of it. Restricting the best gear to the content that a minority of the community takes part in after an entire update of being rewarded the best gear from all sources will never make sense to me. It only shows that you were never confident in the changes made in 6.0 and after letting everyone get used to them, you strip them all away. I have never run a master mode operation in my entire time with this game, outside of master mode EV and KP before they were removed, and I've been playing since the beta. It's not that it's content I don't like, but I am not going to join an operations guild when my group of friends I play the game with has no interest in running them. Now we will lose the chance to get the highest gear by sticking with master flashpoints and that is somehow offering more player choice? I didn't want this to become a rant as I stated I know it won't even be seen by a single member of the dev team, but this expansion feels like it has gotten absolutely everything all wrong. You have hundreds of players here begging you not to do this and yet we now have no choice but to put up with changes we hate or stop playing altogether. How are the players that run operations harmed by other players having another route to get the best gear? Give them some other exclusive rewards the way you do with Ranked PvP seasons. Give them achievements for slogging through the hardest content the game offers. Don't punish players that don't or can't run operations because you refuse to implement a reliable system into the game for including them in group finder. I am not leaving my guild just to get some high end gear and it will be impossible to form groups for this sort of content as people stick to guild members only for master ops. Last point I'll bother to make, I hate all of this. It hurts to leave a game I have stuck with since before day one, but I can't do it any longer. The changes coming in 7.0 are overwhelmingly negative and I am forever baffled as to how the team can be proud of any of this.
  4. This is less a question regarding the Jedi Sentinel and more so the expansion as a whole. What is the dev team planning to do in future galactic seasons daily and weekly PO's that require group content be completed when the vast majority of the player base leaves due to all the horrible changes being put forward regarding combat styles? It's going to be pretty difficult to complete the 4 starfighter matches or the 3 unranked warzone weekly's if queue times are endless because no one plays the game anymore. Probably not even a minor concern on BioWare's part, just something I had been wondering as it is going to create issues. I have always played on the most densely populated servers by pure coincidence and remember several times for lengths as long as years where you were waiting in a queue for an activity for as long as hours even during "peak" times. This gladly has become less of an issue as the population has increased with the game being introduces through steam, but this issue WILL come back when you ruin the game. Again, probably a small concern in the grand scheme of things, I guess the better question is why change what everyone is begging you not to?
  5. It's pretty unbelievable that devs would still be going forward with these changes after the overwhelming pleas to leave the classes with the abilities they already have. I have seen NO ONE asking for these changes, but somehow you are all going to try to justify this will balance the game? If people find the game too complicated you don't dumb it down for everyone just to appease the unskilled few. They have always had the CHOICE not to use certain abilities to make things easier on them by using fewer abilities, but taking them away from everyone is not choice, it's forcing players to continue playing the same content with fewer USEFUL abilities that are really needed! I mainly play Vigilance, so I probably won't feel the loss of some defensive cooldowns as much as Defense guardians will, but you are going to exacerbate the issue of limited tanks queueing for group content by making tanking wholly unviable! Why would any dev team ever think this is what players are asking for? Why would any of you be excited to show this off?? Why why why would you KILL the game for its 10 year anniversary??? And how can any of you make the argument that pruning abilities adds content just because you give us a passive in its place? PVE and PVP are separate entities and always have been, so why gut all the class's useful abilities JUST to try to bring balance to a facet of the game that some of the player base NEVER plays? I feel like I'm going crazy here! Is EA making your team drive the players away so they can justify pulling the plug on the entire game when the players inevitably leave? I don't mean any of this to sound cruel or overly dramatic, but I cannot fathom why any team would do this to a game many of us have cherished for nearly a decade. Don't Game of Thrones this game BioWare! Please don't do this just because you've been working on it for some time and you don't want to start over on something new for us. I would honestly prefer no new expansions at all if this is what you now have in mind. I worry you have all lost your way and I beg you not to implement this system or ANY system that would remove abilities that make the classes fun to play and ultimately what they are. Lastly, you require an active subscription in order to access the PTS. That is now the ONLY reason I see to stay subbed, if only to see how bad the game will become. I will likely be leaving the game altogether if things don't take a hard 180 from what is currently on there. I say this, though I feel like if you cared, you would have given us a more reassuring response to our concerns....
  6. It's really sad reading all of these replies one after another and knowing that I feel EXACTLY the same way. This dev team is in the process of destroying a nearly decade old game for what audience exactly? WHO has asked for any of this dumbing down removal of abilities in the community? Simpler does not equal better, has your team not been playing this game for the last ten years? Why would anyone want any of these changes. I admit I was disappointed to learn that combat styles meant altering your class altogether just to use another weapon type and not simply playing a guardian with all guardian abilities and also with a dual saber, but I AT LEAST thought it was a clean swapping of advanced classes and not this horrible removal of everything that makes the class fun to play! I have been here since the beta, playing the game since early launch before day one and I've even been subbed nearly that entire time, and as such I feel like I have a better understanding than most regarding what makes this game great. Since your team seems to like things simple I can make my point simple for you, do this and you kill the game. The player base will abandon this game though we cherish it for something else that doesn't feel the need to cater to an invisible few that must be responsible for this garbage. DO NOT do this!!!
  7. Just want to throw my two cents in here as well along with everyone else. I understand this is early 7.0 PHASE ONE testing, but DO NO go the route of streamlining each discipline and take abilities away that we have had for years. Fewer choices is NEVER the right way to go.
  8. You are joking right? What kind of baby do you have to be to have a reaction like this? To say it is "completely unacceptable" is absolutely ridiculous and Bioware owes and will give you nothing. It's one week and it won't kill you, relax.

  14. He said sizable, while Galactic Starfighter is certainly epic and in my opinion a great addition to the game, it is in no way sizable.
