  1. Moving the story on, well that's what they are doing. Moving to a state at the hight of the republic won't work for this game as 50% of character are imperial. They could of done what you said instead of doing KotET, but they did not. Could have jumped 100-1000 years into the future with you (your characters) been frozen but then it would be..... I put in hours to levelling my companions blah blah blah, so understand why BW did not do this. Yes could end the game and start afresh but same thing as above. It really was a shame that the player base hated KotET as to me this is what you were asking, a new start, new enemy. The only real disappointment I had with it, was it was a reborn emperor so to- speck in a stolen body. That was disappointing. Not to mention the time frame, just seemed wrong. For him to have grown children, I mean how long was it from Yavin to the Hunt? What you are asking, I cannot see that ever happening until this game shuts down, even then don't assume you get what you want. As I very much doubt what comes next will be a continuation of this version of SW. So not expecting a direct sequel to this game as this one is to KOTOR
  2. I do what I did before GS were even a thing. Play the game, by levelling up characters, Still have many low levelled characters. Picking options not yet pick for story, to hear alternative dialog Getting gear as very few of my character(s) are above 320, for my level 80's Earn credits for unlocks, Buy the odd item from Cartel with month CC when I get enough to buy armour sets I still want. However this is very few as mainly I don't care for the designs of the sets for the most part. Do conquests which takes up most of my play time, as I am in solo guilds
  3. LOL. Right, like this has never been asked for before.
  4. Probably (most likely) or Easter.
  5. Thanks for the info. Seems a silly way to do it, but it is what it is. Probably just do without GTN and send my own characters out for gear mats. Plans am getting around 4 to 8 a week and considering the cost off GTN, not really worth what is been asked. So will just take longer to open all doors. Still nice to know what I was doing wrong, so thank you. I did know about claiming as I brought a armour sets a week or so ago.
  6. I think it's a fair opinion. It's useful for outfit designer only, but OK for that as not the outfit designer does not need to filled with mods. . Neither outfits I would use but personal like or dislike changes nothing when talking about useful. So agree with your conclusion. For the OP, free stuff is free stuff, you may not use it, others will. As for GS, outfits did not care for as said, but the decorations and dyes I did like.
  7. Not having an issue with buying as such, but am finding differcult to understand if I am buying a single item or a stack of items. Mainly this is for mats and stuff where normally not buying a single item. I was looking for ship plans and cannot find quantity. Probably is staring me in the face--but!
  8. Yes, this is true. The introduction of the Jawa venders which you can buy mats will have a impact on the GTN, in both cost and supply, which in turn deconstruction only added to this. So yes fully agree on this. To the OP. BW did try to address this by changing the cost of mats from the Jawa's. At the start it was 1 metal per mat, which later changed to amount per craft level. A fair trade of after a while. I say after a while due to the fact that A lot of us had large amount from cartel packs, which greatly devalued them for which players had paid real money for. Long term though it probably was better for the game. Once you know the value, you add this factor into buying the packs, which is fine after the fact, before the fact, not so much. As for your accrual question on how do you report bots? Well that is a fair question as at present time it's long winded, it not easily done for most players unless you can record the game to send evidence off with your report to one of the staff. The standard reporting of player(s) does not cover reporting bots. So unfortunately only a answer by Broadsword will address this. We can all give opinions but that's all it is, opinions. Still I do think that a quick easy way should be added in game to address this. However personally I have not seen a bot in some time. Sure they must still be there but maybe I just not overly bothered by what other players are doing, so just don't notice anymore.
  9. Never said they had been removed, said the changes made to them or inclusion of them ruined they game. Welcome to you does not equal good for the game or other players. All it meant is the slow erosion of things to do in game. That is never a good thing long term for any game. If you chose to play many alts as clearly both of us do, then that's a choice you made, a new character has not earned these things. Datacrons are not needed to play the game, so if board getting them, then don't I fully agree with the OP. That the removal of abilities and other changes were not good, nor were any of the removal of none class quests. So yes on that we agree.
  10. Short answer should be yes, it's to late. Real answer is with BW, now Broadsword never say never.
  11. For the most part OP I agree with you. Remember a lot of this was asked for by the player base. Never the majority just the loudest as per usual on BW's part to whom they listen to. However that aside I think the removal of quests, the removal on individual character things to do such as Datacron, quick travel, all played a hand in damaging the game. Still removal of abilities has to be there ahead of the others IMO. On same page as you on this topic. However on this have no issue if other have other things on there list of things that heart the game. Still worth remembering most of these changes were asked for.
  12. While I'm sure you get endless posts supporting you on this. I'm not one of them. I don't need them to hold my hand. A post by them that says nothing of value is pointless. Also depends on what you mean by a post by them? As last post was 3rd of Jan.
  13. If players are so confused as you claim, then maybe they should rethink if PvP is for them. As soon as they change this, all that will happen is threads will complain about whoever comes out on top. Don't pretend for one second that won't happen. The first class i remember was trooper, then inquisitor, then bounty hunter then juggernauts now back to inquisitor regardless of gear. Maybe do away with PvP altogether. The only thing I agree with you one is yes the whingeing only ever succeeds in making the game worse. As it never go's the way players want, and players who play said class (which ever happens to be the class in question) then complain it too much, and complain about the class now on top. This is never ending. I have been playing now for IDK 7 years approx. maybe longer. never in all that time after endless rebalances by BW have the player base been happy. Nerfing this won't stop the complaints, it will just move to something else within PvP.
  14. I just don't believe they need to be reined in. They are not that overpowered. It's like complaining that a tank has better survivability. The issue with threads like this is always the same, rein in one class, then another just become the most powerful, then you'll get threads complaining about that class ETC ETC. Continue down this path then all that happens is you'll get just one class in effect as there be no difference between the classes which make it pointless in having classes. Which to me is far more harmful to the game overall. Which also means you can no longer have unique abilities for classes. Has BW ever done a class rebalance that improved the game? not IMO, of course this answer will change from player to player who only plays one class, but as someone who plays all. I don't think so.
  15. Which is why Jedi should never be aloud to play games of chance. lol However joking aside, yes Qui-Gon was hardly the poster boy for Jedi integrity in the SW franchise. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
