  1. I am a Juggernaut as well with the Immortal Spec. Being a tank/damage sponge is in my blood. Has been since EQ beta. While the PVE solo element in this game is vastly superior to early EQ. I agree that it totally sucks to leap toward artillery droids and their like only to be thrown back like some rag doll, then have to walk toward them like your wearing a pair of cement shoes.. while others dance around and blast away. The point of being a Guardian/Juggernaut is you are a wall an unstoppable *force* (excuse the pun) but the names imply such. A five second immunity to cc effects is not too much to ask for since we are expected to be the first in and last out. I can accept that long ranged attacks will always be the downfall of choosing to be a walking endurance machine. It remains so in most games. Guardians/Juggers will usually be at a disadvantage when fighting the ranged people since we are a taunt- damage sponge- melee machine. But to nullify our ability to leap and thus gain immediate aggro on a threat really diminishes our role to the group. Now I end up targeting and leaping to some mob medic/trooper/ vanguard/officer or something if one is available that is not a 4 legged droid and hit AOE taunt or taunt and retarget on said droid. Just so I can avoid knockback and a 10 second walk to the fight. Oh and talking about waiting EQ took years to address the balance issues with Warriors and never did it satisfactorily in my opinion. Watching people kite the whole zone of red mobs in the Plane of Fire, while I could only kill light blue mobs and the occasional weak blue's was disheartening. I have no expectations for Bioware to be any different. Defense spec'd Guardians and Juggernauts just aren't flashy.. We are the red headed step children..
  2. In the First Strike series of missions on Ilum Darth Malgus fascination of using aliens to bolster the Empire finally reveals itself, so much so, he and the Moff get in an argument over this topic. The player has the choice to support either Malgus or the Moff, I consistently supported Malgus (mainly because Malgus is a war hero and looks like Sith lord should and who can support some twerp with a whiny voice). Consider as well that some of the earlier flashpoints, Hammerstation in particular, the player has the option to convince Malgus to enlist the very aliens the party has just defeated. Fast forward to the two FP's Battle for Ilum and False Emperor and if the player supported Malgus and a less xenophobic Empire there is no reward for it, insomuch as the game does not recognize it. So if you supported on a consistent basis a less xenophobic Empire you still end on the side of the current regime, thus you fight against the very thing you support.
