  1. Never seen that bug, and the skill is called double sabre throw so... 2 throws makes sense to me. Done that a couple of times since 1.3 (only columi gear here) and aside from one dps who refused to move out of the target markers its been straightforward.
  2. Lost Island is in a separate category to the other HM flashpoints (shares the same daily BH commms though). So if your not geared enough for it then dont select it on the main panel of the group finder, you will still get the comms.
  3. About as good quality as you can get without spending stupid amounts. No less reliable than a normal HDD, probably more since you need to drop them off a building to break them.
  4. This is a mass-market MMO, it is unlikely any content would require you to purchase a joystick to be competitive, it would not have a sufficient number of players using it to be viable. Personally I think the best you could hope for is a freelancer style (mouse position turns and aims) but a STO type targeted system is more likely (though if they restrict vertical climb angle like they did in that game i will be really annoyed). This sort of addition would be an expansion, dont expect it patched in for free. It would be nice to have this year, but next year is more realistic IMO.
  5. 15000 people (assuming that every post was a new person with issues) is small for a game with (at that time) at least 2 million players. For every person complaining about something there are likely 10 who have no issues and who aren't saying anything at all. Granted some people are having performance issues. Bioware are aware of this, perhaps this is why all 3 major patches have (IIRC with 1.1, the others did) mentioned performance improvements. The fact they they have not corrected whatever problem *you* are having does not mean they dont care, just that either they have no idea what is causing it (entirely possible as there are myriad possible driver/hardware/game interactions that could be at fault) or that the issue is affecting so few people that it is a low priority. Producing a game that works 100% on all hardware and software combinations is impossible, there are too many combinations to even test, let alone optimise.
  6. Has it occurred to you that T5 is a mid level instance that is expected to be accessible to all. Perhaps the testers were deliberately playing like people new to mmos in order to make sure it was possible to complete that way. Its not a 16man raid. Some of the group content needs to be pretty easy.
  7. Currently all the social orange gear is light armour, with 1.3 they will match the armour type of the AC they are equipped on. So if you put the pilot set on your trooper it will become heavy armour.
  8. Simple reason for that, Apple dont give a crap about games, they dont update drivers (and GFX manufacturers cannot release their own like they do on windows), opengl is out of date by about 2 years and DirectX is non-existent (obviously). Apple only care about 3D acceleration for graphic design purposes. You are pretty much guaranteed better performance using bootcamp than a native OSX version. So if your mac manages 3FPS in SWTOR on windows it will do no better in OSX.
  9. Ah again the mythical 31/31/31 build. And *** is with the first complaint, shadows dont get the bubble... Self heal is 3%, per tick and doesnt crit.
  10. This has me worried, do this and we are much less useful in PVE as a tank (in tank gear). the heal is very, very important there and force shroud is one of our major defensive CDs. This is why i hate PVP nerf claims, they so often lead to serious damage to a classes PVE viability. You really worry about 5 ticks of 5-600 heals? its not much. If the class needs fixing in PVP (not saying it does) its simple, its a tank speck, reduce the damage done by both project and TK throw when procced but increase their threat generation to keep tanking ability the same (bye-bye the "huge" burst you are all complaining about). Then do something for the other two trees so DPS shadows have a viable build that doesnt involve the +150% armor from combat stance. Then you will have DPS shadows in DPS gear and tank shadows in tank gear.
  11. Its a bug, change the item quality to standard (instead of any) and it should work.
  12. Um... There is a small cast bar above an enemies head (below their heath bar, you may need that on) and most of them do animations while casting... I do kind of miss LOTRO's glowing circles though, but it is nice to know what the mob is casting
  13. Not a chance , your RAM would have been faulty from the factory (most likely, but it could happen over time). Likely the RAMDisk is using chips that were not being used by the system before, so you may not have noticed the issue before.
  14. Thats not really invisible, the glowbats are pretty obvious
  15. Even my shadows knockback works with just the one, though on the last couple of pugs he has liked to smack a dps off the edge because they didnt position themselves well.
