  1. Reaver Lower Body Armor Advanced White-Black Eviscerating Crystal I've always wanted the Reaver set so fingers crossed I get the rest of it Worth around 7,5mil, the crystal 12,5mil on TRE. All in all better then expected, and this was only from the 5 packs at level 25. Hope I didn't use all my luck already!
  2. Will there be any room/attention for a good old Sith powerplay? Because Put it in spoiler tags to be sure
  3. Thanks for all the helpfull advice and interesting ways to tackle it. Also nice to see there are still some pvpers who "haven't been doing stuff with my family that they need to tell me"
  4. Thanks for the answer! Time to invest some time into my imp alts And I play on The Red Eclipse
  5. Hello, After doing lots of warzones, getting my gear and hitting valor rank 50 I was eager to try some ranked. Boy did that blow up in my face. When the fight started I paused a second to look at the most suited target and bam I was already separated from group and an easy target. My teammates freaked out, and thanks to my low damage from first round I got marked by the other group and I died within 5seconds in round 2. More freaking out followed because we lost, followed by even more stuff in whispers after I exited the wz (never play again, sell your gear, go pve). What made me think I was ready for ranked? Always top 5 objective points Easily getting 35-40 kills without a healer Capable of defending objective solo against 1-2 players till support arrived I play a vanguard, switching between both dps specs depending how I feel that day. But even after all those pvp matches, I don't feel prepared for ranked. The amount of arenas I encountered is really, really low so I wasn't really ready for the (to my feeling) more fastpaced arena fight. So my question to you guys is: how did you prepare for ranked? And how do you handle other people? 1 match and the amount of ranting that followed was just wow. Any help would be helpful, because I'm not diving into ranked again till I feel that I've improved.
  6. And I'm back with a new parse with the same question. While my assault parses have improved greatly and I really enjoy the spec, I feel I've hit a ceiling. No matter what gear setup I just can't parse any higher. People tell me I should be able to parse 300-400dps higher but I've got no clue (again, sorry asking for advice yet again.) Parse: http://parsely.io/parser/view/34242 I can post my gear setup, but I've got a feeling it's a problem with either my apm or my rotation.
  7. A big thank you for all the advice! I've memorized the hotwired rotation, worked on my apm and practiced a lot. Result? My apm is now around 33-34 and I'm parsing 3.8k-3.9k with assault. Still much room for improvement of course, but at least I've got the feeling I'm getting there. Again thanks for the answers, nice to see the friendly side of the swtor forums
  8. Thanks for your replies! How much alacrity are we talking about then? 2-3 pieces or is even more alacrity worth it?
  9. Hello all, While I enjoy my tanking toons, I recently leveled and geared a Commando DPS. When I started to do some parses (to see if I was viable for lvl 60 ops) I was shocked by how bad I did: 2.7k with gunnery and 2.8k with assault I changed my gear a bit and learned the rotations from dulfy, but my results still stay between 3k-3.2k Current stats: Aim: 4414 Power: 1019 Accuracy: 101.20% (882) Crit: 29.94% (569) Surge: 63.91% (219) This is with some token pieces, ziost stuff, some comms stuff and some crafted accuracy enhancements. Parses: Gunnery 1: http://parsely.io/parser/view/29148 Gunnery 2: http://parsely.io/parser/view/29150 Assault: http://parsely.io/parser/view/29152 Is the problem my rotation, my stats, my APM or maybe all three? Any advice would be welcome, I'm really liking the commando dps and I'm eager to bring him into OPS.
  10. Thanks, but I'll go with Efficient Mitigation. Looking forward to your new numbers!
  11. Hello all, As a tank new to optimisation of stats I was a bit lost when seeing all the stats posted on the forums: how the hell was I gonna get near those ratings? That's when I started doing the math and trying possible builds. I'm working on a spreadsheet that gives you the best build to get near those stats. Assumptions B-mods Active Fortitude Stim (+81 defense) 2 Revanite Relics (+104 defense) What do I have at the moment? Vanguard/Powertech builds (KBN 3841 based) Guardian/Juggernaut builds (KBN 3841 based) Shadow/Assassin builds (KBN 3841 based) What will be added? Dipstick based builds Jethsidi based builds The Spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-zFUSs8vczhoW46x_y_kzVV4b2--SD8tvW_qMoqGIY8/edit?usp=sharing Updates Version 1.0 - Initial Release Version 1.1 - Added Shadow/Assassin KBN 3841 based build Version 1.1.1 - Fixed bug with earpiece of Guardian/Juggernaut Credits Of course I haven't calculated the stats by myself, the stats I'm using are from this post -> 3.0 HM Comparative Tank Stats (KBN, Dipstick, Jethsidi) Feel free to post suggestions or tell me what I can improve (better builds maybe?)
  12. Got any results from your PT friend? I'm gearing up atm and still searching for good stat distribution.
  13. Hello all! After a long period of inactivity I returned to the game with SoR. I found a nice PVE guild and I do the weekly new ops. I've reached the point where I collected a nice amount of tokens to start wondering about gear optimization. I'm a Vanguard Tank and did all the math with keyboardninja's stats so I know what to swap and what to get. But when I started equipping my token gear I saw my HP drop from 54k to 51k and I didn't even get all my token gear! People in my guild are saying I shouldn't go for full token but mix here and there to get more HP. So my question is: what to do? I also think I need more HP to survive spike damage but how do I reach it? Is the gearing advised in dulfy the way to go? Any help would be appreciated!
  14. I'm happy, they've motivated me to do something useful.
  15. I have one lvl50 character and multiple alts. I've enjoyed doing all the quests, but at a certain point I suddenly realised that all these side quest were exactly the same: go to x and kill y, get item z there, … I understand that there isn't that much room for unique quests, but star wars gives us a lot of possibities. Here are my ideas for new quests. -> World X wants to abandon the republic/empire! Travel to that world and convince them to abandon that idea. This would be a quest without any mobs that you have to kill. Just convince them to stop their plans. You can treaten him, even kill the leader. -> A senator wants your support! Talk in front of the senate and convince them. Everything you say is important, only if you say the right things, the senate will follow you. -> You lead a small squad. Infiltrate building Y with as few casualties a possible. Less casualties = bigger reward. Your decisions will be extremely important (e.g. 2 soldiers attack room 1, 3 room 2, …) If you make the wrong decisions, soldiers may die! Feel free to share your ideas!
