I like Corso, he reminds me of myself back in the day (not just so...penetrant...). While he annoyed me with his "We can't kill women, I don't care if they tried to kill us first!" thing on my male smuggler, I tried the romance with my fem smuggler. I get why many people think he is a creepy stalker, because he is, kind of, but I think it got better with the time. (atleast if you romance him). Corso seems to be one of those companions you either hate or love.

I rather have a rakghoul on my ship than Skadge.

This right here.While gameplay wise we can only take one companion with us, in canon we are still the commander of Havoc Squad. A squad full with the best troopers of the republic. Could the trooper, be it a rifle wielding Vanguard or the heavy gunner Commando, defeat a Sith one on one? Unless it's an lowly acolyte or an apprentice, most likely no. Could Havoc Squad handle a sith or dark jedi or whatever? They would most likely still have problems, but it would be manageble

Well it's the way of the Jedi. They are the "good" guys and killing is the last option. They don't want to kill. With the Sith, well most of them are arrogant and think that Non Force Users are beneath them. Many will not use the full potential they have because of that. A smart enemy will use this arrogance against them. So, could the Trooper defeat a Sith? Depends, if you ask me. From dialogue we can hear, that republic troops, or atleast special forces, are "trained to kill Sith". In the game, they live in an age where Sith and Jedi are not really rare, so they could train the "basics" for a fight against Force Users. But not every Sith is the same. An acolyte or an apprentice will be much easier to kill, than a lord for example. It also depends on the situation, equipment and if the trooper is prepared for it or not. In the end, I would say: Yes a trooper can kill a Sith, most likely something like an acolyte or an apprentice, with luck even a lord. But a Darth? Nope.

Well the empire has one simple goal: They want to crush the republics hope. On the republic side you can hear that one of the reasons for the rebuilding of Taris is to show that the republic does not give up, and that everything the Sith destroyed, can be rebuild. If the republic would make it, it would boost the morale in the republic. So the Empire decides to crush the Republic's dreams by destroying all their effort, slaughtering the settlers, infect republic troops with the rakghoul plague and so on. But is it worth it? Well for the Sith yes, but I think it's a waste of military ressources. Bombarding it from orbit, like Malak did, would be more effective, I guess. (sorry for mistakes, english is not my first language)

Well looking at the armor the trooper get I would say: Clone Troopers (most likely Clones like Commander Cody, Captain Rex or even ne ARC Troopers) and Stormtroopers. Simply put: The cannon fodder just in "cool"

Well I could say, during the time of the movies, there aren't as many jedi/sith as in TOR. More of them = more "trash" Jedi/Sith that loose to infantry/bounty hunters/smugglers or Agents. And by no means, I don't think that any force user player has to compensate something with the "I have force, I'am gawd" talk. But it annoys me how it's just "Non Force users have plot armor, they can't do ****" when the force users have plot armor too. I mean who would want a hero that dies instantly when facing someone that wields the force? That's what the stories about, about being the hero, every class in it's own way. (well except for smuggler and bounty hunter maybe) But I must say, I think the smuggler could kill a sith/jedi. The trooper and agent have traing and special weapons, while the bounty hunter (if you joined the mandalorians) has mandalorian armor and the newest stuff for these armors. But back to the real topic: Something that will most likely not happen: More Class specific content. Whil I like the KotFE Storyline, it just felt wrong playing anything non force related. Let the trooper capture enemy generals or storm fortresses, let the bounty hunter hunt again and I don't know what.

I never said that they couldkill the Inquisitor, Warrior, Knight or Consular. They are the Mary Sues of their orders. (just like the non force using classes), of course no one can beat them. I just meant, that it's stupid that people, who don't want to be a jedi or sith should be "punished" for it by getting a harder experience. And the non force users can still take on sith/jedi. Not the best of the best of course, no trooper would be able to shoot the emperor to face or something like that. But many force user players act like the non force users did nothing to get where they are now.

And here we have Force user players that need to compensate for something. "Boohoo non force using classes should have it harder or we are not special anymore boohoo" Seriosly, that's it. Yes the force user classes are "the best of the best". But they aren't gods that can't be killed. TOR play in an era, where force users are very common, you know the typical line "We were trained to kill sith!" and stuff. Could the non force users fight the emperor or Arcann? No, surely not. But they can still fight force users. The BH killed the damn Jedi Battlemaster. Not just any master, the battle master. Seriously, why are the force user players in these forums such *****? "The don't have lightsabers, they shouldn't have it as easy!":rolleyes:

Hey, the relationship between my 65 years old Darth Satanilus and the 20 year old Ashara is not creepy! It's true love I tell you! As a guy who was exactly like that character...Corso Riggs. I thought I was creepy back in the day, but the romance with Corso gave Vietnam flashbacks. I'm sure he stares at my smuggler while she is sleeping o.o

Run and Gun my way through the Eternal Empires forces with my Vanguard, then slaughter my way through them with my Juggernaut. After that...my other characters will follow and then I will use the Level Sync thing to help out my friends that are going to start the game and will farm some money.
