  1. I agree with ckoneful 1. not a bug, you can avoid it easily by taking the boss to 30% at right time. 2. Gets fixed on next patch (1.1.2 Soa no longer resets if he uses Mind Trap on the main tank.) havent enountered the last 2 myself. -B
  2. Same thing, we allways let south lock every wheel few secs before locking north. And it never bugs. -B
  3. yap, eaven a simple damage meters would be nice. I myself, want to take 110% out of my character, do the best or more with it. Whats the point of buying a ferrari, if you are only using first 3 gears. -B
  4. There are like 100000+1 topics on this. The loot gets auto rolled only on normal operations. And indeed ppl are having problems to find the sense in this, maybe it is to prevent "super boosting", since normal operations are like loot pinata. -B
  5. totally agree with Kabutopps. In my opponion, SOA has at this moment only few bug bugs, I could say some of the "bugs" ppl list here, just features of the boss... pretty much the only thing that I count as a "bug" on soa at this moment, is the floor not spawning correctly (parts of the floor is missing), this makes the boss pretty much unkillable for that run. Mind traps and electric balls between 2nd and 3rd phase can easily be avoided by taking the boss to 30% at right time. I really dont know that which are actual bugs, and which are features, but I like it hard. Most of the bosses are sooo easy that it's nice to have atleast 1 hard boss. -B
  6. What I ment, is that it pretty much ALLWAYS SEEMS that grass is greener on the otherside of the fence, and who knows maybe it is. The thing is, that you need to either Hop on to the other side, to check it out... Or learn to live with it. At this point when there is not dmg meters of anykind you just cant know. edit: + MANY bosses spawn these circles under random ppl's leg, or everybodys legs. For melee these normaly dont affect at all, instead of whacking boss from behind, mobe a bit and whack him from side, not a single damage lost. But for ranged with CAST -times, these often means interrupting your skill, moving away, start casting again, whics costs many seconds. -B
  7. the bosses are pretty easy at this point, that it doesent matter, that you lose a bit dps compared to ranged. In IRL some jobs pays you more than others, while you have to do less on them, so what? You got to choose what to do (irl and in game), and I prefer to do things I like more. I've done soa on hardmode with 3melees + melee tank(me), and KV hard with 4 melees and melee tank. Not in a single instance / raid I have encountered this far, we would have wiped becouse melee coudnt bring enough dps. And on some bosses like ev's first, we prefer just overheal the missile part, by going next to boss which means that ranged has to run to boss, while melee just whacks away the whole fight. -B
  8. I'm shadow tank aswell ( my guild's main tank). I got bit over 23k (selfbuffed) hp, so I would like to see som1 with 8k more than I do (I count stim as selfbuff since its unlimited couse I got biochem). I've solo tanked every single flashpoint on hardmode and both raids (on 8man) on hardmode aswell. -B

Yeah, thats too bad, that 16m and 8m has same gear, does not give any reward for doing 16m... + they go both on same lock. 16m should have small reward for doing it with more ppl, like POSSIBILITY for augment slot. Or somthing small like that. And indeed geting som champion gear does not mean that you got endgame gear on . It's not hard to gather 8ppl for 8man raids (ev and kp), but it will be a problem to finnish em with hard mode. At this point, the only thing that makes bosses like soa on hard mode actually a bit hard, is the bugs. The bosses atleast on 8man are kinda too easy :S -B
