  1. All of my friends stopped playing on my current server but I have friends on another who are active. I have stopped playing entirely until they open up transfers. I have 3 level 50's and I do not have the patience to level a brand new toon with no legacy on a new server. They need to get this together.
  2. Honestly, I hope Im wrong. I hope I log in next week to see a bustling server with thousands of players. I would be overjoyed! I am simply voicing my frustration on this process taking as long as it has. I understand that it is, in fact, a process. But that process should've been started months ago. Back when customers started begging for help for their doomed servers. I appreciate the update from Bioware, lets keep those updates coming. We want to trust in BW but it takes communication to win us back.
  3. I hear you. And I am patient. I expect great things from this game. But after 6 months of "soon" the patience wears thin. This, to me, is a failure of communication and expectation setting. This has been the track record of this production since well before launch. I know changes are around the corner, but that corner should've been turned months ago. Or at the very least we could be given more concise information. I want this game to succeed, but there needs to be some major changes to the way they handle their customer communication and updates.
  4. Its funny to me to see that they are merging servers into The Fatman. The Fatman is the single most populated server. As I said, playing my alt there is a blast, always something going on. This is the way the game should be. What I am hoping is that moving people to the most populated server is a test for the more massive servers to come. If you read the post from the front page about server pops it appears that (speculative) the maximum server population is 3000. If we merge into larger pop severs that handle double or triple that number it will be amazing. I want to play a crowded game.
  5. It is money sure. I will not cancel my sub. I love this game, I do. I am one of the people who preaches patience having been through MANY MMO launches. I know that things take time. But from the moment the game launched the lack of LFG tool was a big red flag for me. Only because this is something that every MMO has had at launch over the last two years. I know this game was rushed out, I knew EA is the reason we are still beta testing parts of the game, I get it. I am looking forward to the servers filling up and jumping back in. But know this, many players are incredibly impatient and will see this as yet another failed promise. I will be back, I just hope to come back to a thriving community on my new server.
  6. Its reactionary because its been 6 months. My server died over 3 months ago. I know the population will grow and servers will eventually merge, but after so much waiting this is very anti-climactic. I truly believe if transfers would have been available months ago that many people who left would still be here. I, for one, would have never stopped playing.
  7. So last night I transfered all of my characters off of my starting server Rakata Mind Prison. I was so excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to play with other people. To run flashpoints and pvp. I haven't logged in for a month because our server was so depressing and leveling my character on The Fatman felt like a chore after just completing 3 50's. When I said goodbye to RMP there were 32 people on the fleet. When I arrived on The Bastion at prime time, there were 3. Sadly I am more disappointed than ever. As a lover of this game I just have no drive to play. I feel that Bioware really dropped the ball here with waiting so long to face the population problem. When I do play on The Fatman with my mid-30's Jugg I have a blast. But I feel like I have been forced to level yet another character because my server, like many others, was forgotten about. Until 1.3 I see no reason to play. Until server populations even out I have no ambition to log in. This is very sad for me because I am choosing to not play a game I love. And I am choosing not to play because if I do force myself to play I will burn out and continue to be disappointed. I hope to log back in down the road and fall back in love with this game like I did with other MMO's after long periods away. But, I never had to do walk away so soon after launch. Bioware, you need to listen to your fans. We love this game, but you are making a lot of amateur mistakes. This market is too saturated to not deliver on years old promises.
  8. Overall I really liked it. Great for spontaneous world PVP, quests were not so dull that they got annoying, awards were pretty nice. Id like to see a wider range or rewards and quests in the next even to keep it more interesting. Excited to see how these events grow over time and/or perhaps become yearly occurrences. Well done.
  9. Shortly into WoW I seem to recall upwards of a week of downtime. They used to give out max rested experience as an apology. People complain too much...
  10. Teras Kasi master and a pure healing class (medic/surgeon). Those are what I would want to see.
  11. They should just implement a global LFG channel. WoW did it for awhile before they added the dungeon tool. Without a LFG tool we need a way for us to enjoy the game without having to stand around in one place.
  12. I have two level 50 characters on Rakata Mind Prison. For the first month the server was packed. Lots of groups, quick PVP queues, it was a blast. Then the population declined significantly. Still some groups to be found, a hard mode PUG here and there, but overall I could still "play". Now, peak hours on Republic side we see 30 players. During the day maybe 5-10. I took my second character from 1-50 without seeing a single enemy out in the world. No PUGs and upwards of an hour to get into PVP. This is just not fun. I hate that the only answer is to re-roll yet another character on another server. My friends who I play with also have limited time to play so we all maximize our time online. No one wants to have to start over. Things like this cause people to unsub and put the game down. I do not want to put the game down but I also do not want to lose my 32 legacy levels. I do not want to lose the characters I put alot of time and energy in to. But at the same time I cannot continue to play on an empty server. There is just nothing to do other than dailies. This needs to be addressed quickly or we are going to see further population decline.
  13. This! Now it is hard to see any ability. It is nice that at a glance I can see my long CD's, but having the entire UI go white is really annoying. I say just black it out and add a number countdown. Keep it simple.
  14. I have to say I too am disappointed in this response. Some of us have the processing power to handle hi-res textures at all times. Why cant we have that option? I see it in videos and screenshots but not in my game experience. I feel like this is almost avoiding the issue just like the official Bioware response to performance problems. They state that it is only happening on low end machines. My computer is a beast and I have VERY inconsistent performance, as to many other players. Can we please stop with the "working as intended" and actually give the people paying money to play this game real answers.
