Hi there, I've just come to swtor after leaving for a long time, left not long after release after clearing all that i could at that point ((rl issues came up and never came bk for some odd reason)) , decided to come back to it, as well its star wars. i love the game despite the flaws and always had fun. Im a lvl 50 jedi guardian at the moment and im looking for a guild that caters for end game content on raids etc.... i do enjoy pvp and will play it. I dont want to be around little kids thinking there gods gift etc... looking for a friendly fun guild where when i come home from work i can log on and enjoy the game. I current came bk yesterday and trying to get back into the swing of things so help in that department to show me everything that has come to game would be a big help too. My ingame name is Canar

you know what i say. Where is the tank that doing 7k aoe dmg??? cuz i dont see a tank in that vid. I see a dps guardian in that vid, not a tank. So much fail.

its simple tank and spank tbh. Aggro the boss , turn him around so he facing awy from other people.(( your bk should be to the way he came in, and he facing the way he came in etc...)) nuke away. ads come, just aoe.

yes there is a point to protection, Less dmg to be HEALED!!! , its a 30% dmg reduction on taunt Aoe taunt = all players within 15 meters do 30% less dmg Single Taunt = 30% less dmg Guard = 50% less dmg on the player you put it on. How can you say protection is pointless? If you do not do protection, then you have to have your healers heal that extra dmg. I Most of my games end with around 100-170k protection and around 4th in dps. healers are around 200-300k mark. Which usually is about double of my protection. So my protection is making it easier for healers.

ironfist that hard? bad programming? huh? ***? Seriously, first HM and i did esseles, and we wiped 2 times on ironfist then downed him. Its total piss if you can interupt his snipe , and down the ads within 5-8secs. Did this with a mate, and 2 pugs and out of all of us, only ONE had done the boss before. Why are so many people complaining about bosses that actually require some sort of skill? fml i hope bw dont listen , dont want to see this game turn into wow with there instances.

there is no problem at all seeing where to put him to get knocked down. It actually quite easy to see. But why you guys TRYING so hard to put him RIGHt under it, he just need to be in the Aoe dmg to be knocked down, he can be about 3 meters out to be knocked down. its like a 5-7 meter area you put him in, if you can get the boss in that size, then your doing something wrong.

no, you dont need the pvp gear at all.

then its not the gear thats the problem, your missing a mechanic somewhere. or doing something wrong. Its not that hard at all. I only got 1 pvp champ armor, and the rest are just normal modded armor with a 124-126 rating. ((i am tank btw)) Did that boss first time, What we did was, face him away from the rest of the group((he facing towards where he comes into the room)) Then when ads come, aoe taunt, and every one aoe, nukes as much as possible. Interupt what possible. Dead boss.

but expertise reduces dmg done too you aswell. .....

he has a very good point actually. There is plenty of tank specs at that lvl . I should know, i am one of them. You cant be a dps and tank a instance boss. You will die

ok so how does this work, people who got 8/8 pre-order r getting. Yet i am 8/7 and i not getting.... hmmmmmmmm belive these people ((one had an ss)) or bioware are messing up

See i am in 2 frames of mind, i dont mind letting people in bit by bit, i rather have a more stable lag free experince , than a rush of tons of players. But my problem with the launch is that it is possible ((not comfirmed)) that it will take up too the last day of EGA to get everyone in!!!! I would at least expect to have everyone that has pre-ordered before december 13th to be in by the 15th so we all get at LEAST 5 days EGA, that more than fair to everyone. Like myself, i could not afford to pre-order the game when it was annouced, and i sure so many other people could not either. I have other responsibilities to deal with. My mate was in the same situation, and it looks like he wont get in by the way it is going is around 18-19th . Which as he paid the same ammount as me, is a bit wrong tbh. I pretty sure its very much possible to get everyone in by the 15th. I looked at the EU servers now, and like all apart from 3 of them are light load!!!!!! So much room to be used and so many servers.
