  1. Yeah I've been lagging in every part of the game since last weeks patch.
  2. Real reason they nerfed it? Hard to sell $18 lvl 70 Master datacrons when you can grind it over a few hours free.
  3. And another one advertises the exploit. As far as gunships go never liked the sniper nor do I feel it has a legitimate place in the game. I have flown them and got high kill scores don't get me wrong. I had a low detection setup and it never seems to work. So just put all your points into the gun skills first. Armor pen is your friend. After that if your in a group they have to defend you or you just have to hope your in a spot nobody will notice you.
  4. I really enjoyed the Merc until end game pvp. Its gearscore 246 but its damage seems middle of the roster pvp dps wise and she's 7/10 the focus of attacks so learn to kite hard. I can parse 8k max on training dummy with it. Does it get much better when everything's 258 i'm not sure.
  5. Recovered my old VG. Its 61 running random BG's 4 man. Word on the street is its pretty much useless in pvp or will be soon. Tank spec just testing it other than guard no possible way to win a fight on your own I can see.
  6. I haven't noticed a VG in a long.. long time. I started again a month ago and purged all my old characters. Knowing now about the changes since I left I would have kept a few including the VG. I started with a new Mercenary and Commando. Commando is level 36 Mercenary is level 70 gear score 242 I have several 252 items. People swear the merc/commando are DPS beast but i'm just not seeing it. A perk of the Commando over the Mercenary is the Commando accuracy is easier since he is not a duel wielding type so you dont have to invest more points into it for more offhand hits. If I was to do it over again, and I just might, I would go with the VG. The companion change to where they can do any role helps me a lot. Also you have to consider if you enjoying chasing your target down or staying range. PVP these glow stick warriors mainly are face to face not to big of a problem but you will get runners and they are boring to chase. Commando on the other hand you just shoot. Problem is with the current state of the game heals are extreme and you might not get very far on heal type targets unless you figure things out that I haven't yet.
  7. Far from the best parse I ever seen but slightly useful. Verified someone can missile lock protons in about a second. Several times I was slug sniped which could explain the 1 hit wonder pilots, they had help and I didn't know. Need more data
  8. If we have to block someone to get some fair matches while using training wheels we will! Just got to remember to unblock them when its over.
  9. 6 games today same person 25+ kills under 5 death's. Runners up were only 9 kills max. Everyone was wondering how and nobody can reproduce the anomaly. What we did get from him/her was "im in a stock fighter". But yeah I would block people like this just to get into more balanced matches. I just got to remember to unblock them.
  10. If Talos was rich yeah. Other than that his future wife is a Hutt with a wig.
  11. I relate to this. If its a 4x4 I would say i'm 50%-75% on a winning team. On 8 mans though I am consistently on a 1 in 9 win/loss it it gets very upsetting. I have gone as far as 17 straight losses. Years ago it was due to premade squads of 8 vs random pug squad of 8, not sure but might be the same.
  12. The unemployment line.
  13. That would be funny. A secret dev team of 8. They would see some of the other team facing left to right at lightning speed while they take no damage. They would be chain stunned or choked with a bot like precision. Or better yet make it a dev team of 7 and let the 8th be a pug and when the dev team looses the pug person can call the developer bots and report them.
  14. If they are doing the outdated system of script banning or banning people just on the number of reports on a player just refund me now. This system only worked for the people exploiting. Let me go threw some a few things people don't know or may not understand. Websites still sell services like power leveling and such. Those people have a group and they all grind together. Real people or sometimes a few people and the rest are bots. If someone sees a player that may threaten that guys income all he has to do is flip account's and report a legit player with every account he has access to. In the end its a legit player dealing with a ban or suspension. Another problem is salty mental players who sit on a computer all day who cant handle a loss. If you are new to the game or class or even "under geared" after bolstered they will slander you in chat saying your a bot report them and whatnot. I just went threw this myself. These people do report you even more so if you don't respond to the slander's BS. People have their guilds send false reports to something they never seen. Most games I played had someone in guild telling other people to report "X" for hacking and many of them will do it no questions asked. Its 2019 and companies still act like its the early 2000's on how to handle problems like this. I mean yeah SWTOR is 8 years old and the game mechanics are way behind the times, some of which might be addressed in the next expansion but I don't see the game ever thriving again until they do a complete overhaul or on weeks a Star Wars movies hit theaters. If you want to catch career bots I would look at time played, IP addresses, average ping. Once you have a pattern of that and mark the anomaly's you can shorten the list of potential violators. So for example some named "SDlgijglse Uninstall" has been logged in 30 hours on average from random countries with a 999 ping you would know to pay more attention to reports about that account and even go in a few games he's playing to make sure nothing else is out of the ordinary. Another way that was effective is if staff would take a active roll in PVP. Talk in chat or spam messages "Staff is monitoring the battleground." If staff really are watching it or not is up to the company but it is a effective deterrent. Another thing to consider is games with to many buttons to push are becoming a thing of the past. Other games have altered their EULA and implemented a type of chain macro to make the game more enjoyable. The original hardcore players are in their 40's - 50's and I know a handful that's in the 60's-70's. A guy with arthritis vs a 16 high on Redbull just does not work with any current MMO business model your eliminating the older age group, and in the case of Star Wars many of the 1976 era players might still be around. Short and simple to many damn buttons.
  15. Lets use huttball as a example. You just re spawn and your running down a ramp and you see a red guy fighting a few greens, your on a high ramp they are on the ground level almost directly under you. You think "i'm going to help the injured guy out" and start to cast a heal. The same millisecond you try to cast the heal the red guy that's focused on the few guys he's actively fighting turns a 180 and stuns you and continues to fight the other's without the hint of a pause. If your going to tell me "zooming out the screen" the average player can fight multiple people and see behind them and cast interrupts on multiple other people in half a second without pause your full of.... Same thing with perfect timing force choke's. Guy A force chokes you and guy B force chokes you at the instant force choke end's from guy A and its a pattern.
