There is no reason to get rid of any server based on your reply. This thread & posts feel like you are trying to cause division within the player base & start a fight between players. Which is why I’m going to bring this thread to @JackieKo attention. Jackie I believe this thread should be removed.

In what regard? What’s your case for getting rid of any server?

This is an interesting point. It’s possible the Guild database system was developed after the chat database too. Which could explain the discrepancy. The only way to find out why this is different, would be for someone from the dev team confirming the situation.

Steve, I maybe wrong, so correct me if I am. I remember when swtor released there were no second names. So if you wanted a name that would make it look like a second name, we all had to use symbols like - ‘ , to seperate the names. But the <space> bar letter/symbol (for a better terminology) wasn’t allowed at that time, which prevented having 2 separated words in the name. And we’ve never been able to have more than one capital letter in the single word name. ie, a name like Luke Skywalker would have to be Luke-skywalker or Luke’skywalker Then at some point after I created this particular account in 2016 (I had 3 accounts), they added the ability to have a space between the names. Is it possible the devs at the time just took a short cut with chat database & added the <space> bar key as an allowable symbol in the name creation? That would explain why the first letter of the second name is always a lower case letter & why it might actually be a bigger job to fix than people realise. Because as far as the chat database is concerned, it’s not 2 words making up the name, it’s actually one word with a <space> symbol being used as a letter.

Rather they delay it instead and of releasing it broken. But it would be nice to have a heads up from the devs if that is the case. Silence doesn’t foster good community relations.

The way the discord server has been setup, means the invite isn’t permanent. Because of that, it’s only a 7 day invite & if I forget to update my signature weekly, it stops working. All the other SW discords I belong to have a permanent invite link. I’m not sure why this one was setup this way or if it can be changed. But it would certainly help & I wouldn’t need to change my signature every week 😞

True, but it really sucks when you’re playing on a low population server where PvP & GSF isn’t popping.

Basically exactly like my post. See how their names are highlighted in yellow. The way to ping someone is to use the @ symbol at the beginning of their forum name. So if I was pinging myself for instance, I would type @ trixxietriss but there wouldn’t be a space between the @ symbol & my name which ends up looking like this @TrixxieTriss

As a show of good faith, BS should just give a handful of Free Transfers to EVERY APAC located player for May 4th celebration week (regardless of subscriber status). This should include F2P, PREFERRED & Subscribers (they could give extras for subscribers). But if they do want to run this event, they should start sending out the emails next week so players have time to organise”.

You’re worried about botting on an app when it’s actually easy to bot as it already is 🤦‍♀️. There have been people doing this for years. (FYI, not advocating it because it’s against the TOS. DO NOT BOT). Because if the app worked the same way as it does in game at the moment, you’d only be able to look at one character at a time to queue up companion missions. Literally no different to how it is now. Except you could lay in bed & do it instead of booting up your PC. People can literally bot that stuff on their PC right now if they want to (and they’d obviously break the TOS, so don’t do it). Adding it to an app on your phone would actually make the botting part harder on a handheld device. It would be next to impossible on iOS devices that aren’t already cracked. People using Android would have a slightly easier time. But honestly, most would still use their PC to do it. But instead of logging into the PC client, they’d run an android app emulator to do it. Which would defeat the whole purpose of making a portable app.

They can’t or won’t even give us the option to sort our character alts on the character login screen. Been asking for nearly 8 years for that QOL improvement. They’d probably need to implement that first of the app/database/servers would crash all the time.

Was asked for many years ago. Sadly, unless they revamped crafting, it would be another waste of dev resources better spent making playable content.
