  1. 10v10 Arathi (WoW) und falls es akzeptabel ist: Nagrand Arena (3v3)
  2. unless they have a guard, this is clearly a L2P issue mate
  3. I don't actually think you have any idea how RMP was played and what made it strong It also was never "the one" FOTM comp (if you are referring to that) because the comp always had an extremely high skillcap as it was mentioned earlier (in comparison to double Shadowmourne TSG or Vancleave for instance) Moreover, I think it is a little early to make any assumptions about FOTM comps. I am pretty sure there will be major nerfs to some classes, to make arena more accessible to unexperienced players. 3 sins + op healer, for instance, would blow any inexperienced team into pieces within seconds, however, it is simple to counter for better players (if you keep your calm once they're opening on you). Pretty sure you will be seeing this comp quite a lot tho. However, my point is: just wait for the 2.4 PTR and do some testing before making these pointless theories
  4. Dont know much about Mara playstyle so I cant comment on that. However, I have to say that it is not very entertaining to watch, for me it just looks like AoE'ing allover the place. I would suggest that instead of publishing all these vids (which I guess will essentially be all the same really), find some scenes where you play exceptionally well and that distinguish you from other, common players (not talking about those solo 1v1 vids). And please use scenes in which you keep in motion , standing there over and over again for like 0.5 sec makes it hard to watch
  5. If they manage to CC your entire team without your team getting anyone out of stealth, you literally deserve to lose. This simply wont happen if your team thinks about positioning
  6. I dont know where I mentioned any of this. I was talking about peels and avoidance (assuming you know what this is). Since you dont even seem to be willing to read my posts I dont think there is any point arguing with you really.
  7. Assuming their targets mates would decide to go spectater mode, probably. Otherwise they would have to sacrifice arguably the most important defensive CD to pull this off and even then I doubt there is any class that will die to that, mentally prepared for what is coming. The target choice of this comp will be very predictable and the enemy team can prepare accordingly. If the target doesnt die, it s pretty much a lost game.
  8. Due to the importance of defensive dispel in arena settings (4v4 / 3v3), I think you will be doing extremely well combined with a sage/sorc making it extremely hard to peel your team and get kills. Not sure how you will be doing in combination with heal operatives, as they seem to be very vulnerable to single-target swaps (and you might be a good swap target). You have to get used to being a supporter and watching your mates instead of mindlessly tunneling your targets into oblivion. Obviously, the skill cap of the class is significantly higher and will always be, but once you get the hang of it, just very few comps can actually counter the options madtycoon listed. You might be forced into specific comps tho. Dont know enough about the healing specs to make a proper statement about them.
  9. Dont worry, as simple as that may appear, it is getting countered very easily once players are further along the learning curve.
  10. Arena will be a nice step towards more competitive PvP. I dont think that synergies amongst different specs will be as gamebreaking as in WoW due to different CC protection mechanisms (DRs vs Resolve). I can imagine that there might be some class imbalances as specs that were unpopular in rWZs will rise (especially specs with defensive dispel) whereas specs that were very strong in WZs (especially smasher) are less viable than before. However, I think that CC chains might be too easy to pull off, due to too many CCs being instant casts with low positional requirements making them almost unavoidable. If grenades can also be used to support those CC chains i dont see any healer other than sorcs/sages to be viable at higher ratings (due to double trinket). But I will definitely enjoy playing the pillar game once again and am highly looking forward to the rise of the Commando and the smasher's QQ threads.
  11. Well, that is a bit of an exaggeration. I am not quite sure what rating you played on, but on higher ratings druids can easily die in a stun against melee cleaves (without mage symbiosis) (and peels from teammates, but that's a different issue). Operatives do not tank 4 people either, unless they are *********** braindead and using some kind of unresponsive PvE Rotation. Pretty much every defensive CD can be countered if the opponent reacts to them instead of opening the forums straight away crying how the operative got away.
