  1. I'm sure details are coming but what we should all expect is that anything you have now with be relatively worthless once the new expansion launches. Gear will quickly be useless for the most part. Unassembled parts and some other tokens will get a less than amazing trade in value like we have seen before that will give just the smallest boost to something new. I'm curious if they will use the galactic command which they had finally got working decently to where you could actually play the way you wanted and get gear or will biwoare fall back to the OPS/PVP or die mentality. So many things that could screw this new gearing thing up and it took forever to get galactic command to something worth playing butI haven't forgotten just how bad galactic command was when it first launched so a new gear system has me worried.
  2. I'm worried bioware wont get it even close to right as far as balance goes. Combined with how some classes just have a ton of things to mash already. I like the idea mentioned above about taking a lower level ability and replacing it at higher level. Thats a good start and a great idea.
  3. Like how biwoare setup swtor, you can have the possibility of his stuff. You have to do a large number of errands or chores for the OP. Lets call them missions for the fun of it. After all those "missions" you will given a random chance at something the OP has. The odds of anything good are extremely slim and the majority of things you get will be pretty much garbage and you will never know when the OP changes the odds to make it even harder for you because he can do it behind the scenes and never tell you anything but hey. You had a chance right? Now, for that first chore, I mean mission you got to do...... However, back to the OP. I feel your pain when it comes to swtor.
  4. BioWare was foolish enough to bring back Malgus, I have no doubt anyone we supposedly “killed” they would have no problem bringing back Just because. She may not be as gone as some think.
  5. Like others. No, not really. Just no reason to check it. Not like you're going to miss anything big even if you skip weeks or months at a time.
  6. That was awesome and dead on given the situation. I'll be watching more of him. I wouldn't be shocked at all to find out that it was a screen shot released by bioware or ea and not actually leaked so they could get a feel on numbers. Heel vs babyface called it right on the dot.
  7. My vague answer is, "Way to many given the mediocre content we keep getting combined with so many bugs."
  8. bioware has tried to optimize things but truthfully, it's still uses a highly modified hero engine and it's not been good since day one release. it's caused more trouble than it was ever worth in various ways through the years. As long as this game runs the hero engine, lower your expectations.
  9. It just doesn't make sense. One of the worst parts is when Lana tells you that her and theron have a way of communicating that no one but them knows. Their own made up way to communicating that no one would have any basis or previous knowledge in how to decipher. Then we have to go through a ton of garbage story just to hear theron whine about not being able to say anything because he would be found out and then showed the bad guys everywhere they needed to go while having the perfect way of communicating but did little to nothing to actually do it.. It was just rough to play and I hope he's really dead given his poor writing.
  10. Malgus, that washed up has been died to me in multiple ways back when the game had at least a better story. Probably why bioware showed no creative ability when they brought that joke of a character back. Hoping gamrs would remember a better time in swtor and not what is happenng right now As if Malgus was the uncreative way to go. In what is yet another terrible story move, we get agriculture and a copied and recolored planet and on old worthless villain. bioware has just been washed up mess since anything named Kot** and after with barely anything hitting a good mark. The best thing we recently got was the hunt for the new datacrons. The rest was forgettable and that includes the story at the very to of that pile. I agree with you wholeheartedly, the story has been half-arsed for a while. It's a good thing the original class stories still hold up because it's a shame what they have going on now.
  11. I had high hopes for it after hearing bioware talk so much about it but yes. It was fairly boring except the new datacron hunt. That one bit I found entertaining. The story was short and terribly uninspiring and that big reveal was about as uncreative as a story writer / game writer can get. Oh lets reuse that guy gamers killed in a flash point years ago. Not only did they kill him and blow up a space station but they killed him in multiple ways to achieve that goal and still blew up his space station. So reusing him, no matter how they want to do it is some pretty bad low hanging fruit writing. Such potential wasted on rehash villains, weak story and a useless gear grind for a Nightmare OPS few care to do and it's not because they don't like OPS. Few care for a NM OPS. So all that combined with the all the bugs and yea, boring is just one of the things that happened playing it.
  12. Agreed I doubt many will complain about having nothing to do. The complaint will be it not worth doing.
  13. After playing 5.10. 6.0 wont happen soon enough.
  14. They will be on the board just outside the main quest hub once the story is done IIRC.
  15. Sorry but I can't say I agree. I found it to be a bit lacking in the creativity department.. Some Spoilers ahead. So No, I can't say that story was all that interesting. I enjoyed the planet. A bit to much copy and paste from Alderaan and korriban with some pallet change but over all I liked the planet but the story lacked creativity. In trying to push the players back to some galactic war. bioware story had no "punch" to it for me.
