  1. Haven’t been able to find definitive answers for my questions about switching from subscription to free to play If a comprehensive list of answers to this info exists, I’m sorry for the post and request direction to the info. Would greatly appreciate any info from someone who knows, or has cancelled their subscription but still plays. When I cancel subscription am I automatically downgraded to preferred, or down to free to play and I have to make a purchase to move back up to preferred? During my subscription I have achieved / attained the following: 5 level 50’s (and 3 toons around levels 25 – 40) Am I able to choose which 2 to continue playing with? What happens to the other 3? Each character is a different species Do the F2P species restriction mutate my characters to conform? 3 crew skills per character (each and every one maxed at 400) Which of the 3 do I lose? Do I get a choice? 2 bank tabs per character (some have 3) Most are full Do I lose each extra bank tab I own? What happens to the items contained therein? Each character has the maximum amount of personal inventory slots Same question as above.. 3 complete event armor sets ( 1 containment officer / and 2 sandpeople outfits) Are these unequipped upon F2P login? What happens to the mods / armoring etc? All characters are currently wearing a majority of “purple” level items Same question as above.. Some characters carry more credits than the preferred level cap permits Do I lose every credit above the cap, not to be returned? Some characters completed the HK quest on Belsavis section X Does he remain a companion for those characters and can they still access section X? At least a few characters undoubtedly carry more commendations than preferred level caps Same question as above.. I have almost every available legacy perk unlocked (mail / repair / ship droids / training dummies / emotes / etc...) Do I lose any or all of those? Final question: Are any items / privileges restored if I resubscribe?
  2. Thanks Ilesna. First for making a statement in response to my post without berating me, and second for your well thought out posts linked in your signature line.
  3. I've spent some time gaining pretty high social points on my first character. Subsequent characters have been riding the coat tails of my first guy's crafting in order to catch up to and play with high level friends as a different class. I still enjoy the class quests and misc. planet quests / heroics. (I don't like being run through them by higher levels) So it is extremely slow going gaining social points with my secondary characters. Yes, my choice not to do as many "social" activities with my other characters, but I have invested a lot of time in the category of social points. Any thoughts about being able to share, or at least buy social gear for alts ?
  4. Also a keyboard turner here... When I have tried to use the mouse to move, it feels ridiculously touchy / sensitive. I I think console gaming has programed me that left hand is for movement, and right hand is for abilites / actions. I find it difficult to switch between one method and the other when going from console to pc, and back
  5. I figured as much .... but how is heroic moment triggered / activated? I really feel like i'm missing something very simple
  6. I have a level 50 consular, which unlocked the Legacy Project ability. I've put this ability on my bar for my alts, but it doesn't ever light up. I know it has something to do with Heroic Moment (or something like that) Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I don't know how to trigger the legacy ability. thanks for help and or snarky troll answers
  7. OP speaks the truth. I play for fun, and this game is nothing but. So much to do, awesome stories, space combat, pvp, crafting... I love it all. Thank you for offsetting (however slightly) the negative garbage on these forums. Seriously people, if you don't like monopoly then go play operation. The game is what it is and just because it doesn't have every gorramn thing you expect or want doesn't mean it's bad. Enjoy what's there, and there is a LOT there. Thanks again OP
  8. Generally speaking; Red lightsabers are associated with the Dark Side. Green and Blue represent the Light Side. Yet in space, all the bad dudes are shooting green lasers at my face and I return fire with Red lasers.... Why is this?

  10. to clarify to those who seem to have misunderstood: ^^^also this ^^^
  11. LogicalPremise .... Thank You it seems you get the gist of my idea
  12. I understand and agree with what you are saying. I'm not tyranicaly (word?) argueing against them. To perhaps clarify, I agree and like the idea of having to aquire better gear in order to progress through difficult content, but not to the extent that absolute optimiziation is required. i.e. not having optained every datacron, or not having every slot in your gear being outfitted with epics being a cause of rude, often hurtfully mean discrimination and belittlement and exclusion to content. as stated before, gear is a good indicator of ability to complete difficult tasks. I just like the IDEA of being able to adjust play and account for or take advantage of different levels of players gear / ability. A lot of this is the nature of the MMO, I understand this. I'm not asking for any change, just stating an opinion and was curious to other's thoughts. when it's all said and done, it boils down to teaming with players with a similar mindset and playstyle. maybe I'd just like that to be more available other than months of trial and error. a LFG system for like minded players per say. I'm NOT asking for any change just an open discussion on the topic. -- at work with the game on my mind
  13. I would rather not see these in game. There are reasonable arguments to the contrary, but it would seem (in my opinion) they would be best suited to guilds intently focused on progression through very difficult content. Adjusting playstyle and strategies is my prefered method of play, and I'd like to think many non-elitist content bulldozers would agree. It is entirely possible (and sometimes much more fun) to run Heroic areas and FlashPoints (at least all I've seen so far) with less than ideal conditions. I find it boring to go in with a group of supermen and methodicly demolish mobs through an optimized path. Shocking as it may sound, many people play the game for fun and would rather not stress or be belittled about their gear or lack of. Keep in mind this is a half formed idea, and I would love to hear logical if not constructive comments for or against.
