  1. Yeah, the same thing is now happening to one of my friends who just downloaded the game.
  2. Thank you, I have tried this multiple times already.
  3. Hey All, Long time SWTOR player here, decided to come back after a year or so hiatus. I redownloaded SWTOR and subscribed. The first couple of times logging into the game were fine and no problems occurred. I transferred one of my characters back over to Satele Shan and from there the problems began. After a successful transfer, I logged into SWTOR only to find there were no servers populating on the login screen, after multiple attempts to get this working with whatever information I could find, I finally uninstalled and reinstalled the game. After doing a clean re-install (3) times, I can NOT get passed the initial loading screen at all..... Things I have tried: Uninstalled/Reinstalled the official non-steam launcher. Paused any virus protection I have. Cleaned any network issue that may be occurring. Searched and removed any Bit folder I found. Attempted to repair the client multiple times without success. Restarting my computer. I have to admit, I typically have plenty of patience, but at this time I'm completely running out of it and my nostalgia is about to run its course. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. I'm not quite sure why you are having so much trouble? I can steam-roll through content on my Vanguard, though my spec is a Shield Specialist. If your having so much trouble you could also swap to Tactics, it's arguably one of the better DPS classes in the game currently.
  5. Hey man these are pretty good, wish I had the talent to draw. Good work!
  6. I get it, but that doesn't solve the issue. They could make the storylines harder and give us a chance to revisit this content like they have KOTFE and beyond.
  7. I would like to thank you my dear SWTOR for bring me years of joy as a subscriber to this game. It's fun, it's been real. No, I'm not leaving. On this note, I would like to see something that should be fairly easy to handle..... GIVE US THE OPTION TO PLAY CLASSIC VETERAN/MASTER story lines! I grow tired of having to delete my character and recreate to witness the awesome story lines sub-50!
  8. Here is the thing, I'm disappointed that the road map could not be delivered in the time frame originally discussed. However, I am quite impressed by the fact that he would come into a forum of subscribers, veterans and newbies a like and tell us that he doesn't have it ready yet. I'm hoping for big hopes, but I digress....
  9. In my personal life, I try and give someone or something the benefit of doubt before jumping to conclusions or just flat out not believing in something that was said. I understand quite well the hierarchy that unfortunately is found in most administration, especially when you work in a corporation. I always want to believe when someone is telling me is the truth first hand because I have to believe people within this corporation still want my money. Now, I understand that in the long run just "my" money is insignificant compared to the millions of dollars that probably obtain through their many investments, but if they, they corporation, continues to give us material that is not to our liking more then just myself will stop throwing money into something or someone we do not believe in anymore. No matter how much our hearts are broken.
  10. I've been playing this game off and on since inception. I was in the beta and to this day I sub, I have NEVER canceled my subscription and I have purchased countless items in the cartel market. I do not say this to insert any dominance over anyone else or to say my opinion matters more, I say this to show my love for this game. Do I always stick around, no I get extremely bored with some of the mechanics this game has to offer. I think that it is really sad that there are several issues that need to be addressed in this game for it to actually thrive and move out of the darkness many of the veteran players and new players share in regards to the future of SWTOR. I genuinely hope that Keith can pull this wonderful game concept with it's memorable class stories into the light. I have many suggestions, but most of the suggestions I have revolve around issues that have plagued the communities for years, but the key focal point being long wait times for PvP and PvE group content, cross-realm queuing (I understand they said it would be difficult, but this is a MUST for the game to move forward positively.) and class balance (I understand that balancing in MMOs is an extremely hard method to handle, but the classes are mirrored.) One of the bigger issues I have noticed about SWTOR is their HORRID F2P model and EVERYONE knows it. I truly believe the F2P model needs to be revamped, re-discussed and republished for the game to continue to grow. I will continue to invest in this game with hopes that the developers, both EA and Bioware, understand the payload this game (with its IP) has the potential to make if they choose to listen to their player base. Just my 2 cents....
  11. As an American, I work twelve hour shifts at night. So technically, I am on the same time schedule as a European. I am not upset about the fact Bioware/EA needs to patch the game to reduce or remove bugs that was issued in 4.1 (Which mind you the maintenance was extended!) because it needs to be done. I am, however, upset with the times in which they feel the need to bring down the servers..... They have had all morning to issue this patch and yet they waited until 0900 PACIFIC to bring down the servers. Good job developers with attempting to fix the bugs with this patch, but shame on you for not picking a sooner time!
  12. I don't know what servers you guys are playing on, but on Ven Zallow, its about 50/50. I have won just about the same as I have lost.
