  1. This. Which is why I always use it in duels or against stray boss mobs to finish them off. Makes no sense in terms of rotation. But it just feels like the thing to do.
  2. Yeah I know. I just meant that as a Sith it should be an option to kill the leader of the Sith Empire and take his power/position/might/whatever... My destiny isn't to be 2nd in command. Sidious said his apprentice would once be more powerful than himself. And he was right, ultimately.
  3. You know, I put on sort of a  when I learned that I can't kill the emporer as a Sith Warrior. I mean, sure, it's fine to kill Jedi day in day out. But ultimately I want to kill the emporer just like they do. Only that they do it for the good and for the people and so on and I want to do it for me. Vader killed him too umpteen centuries later.
  4. I played Vengeance till level 30 something and then changed to Rage tree. Used Vette and Jaesa exclusively until after Hoth (lvl42?). At that point Baras sent me to kill Lord whatshisname on Dromund Kaas, which was so annoying with Jaesa that I decided to try Quinn. With him it was indeed much easier, because I didn't need saber ward every single fight anymore and thus could do it faster actually. I'm sure there are people even better than me, who can still do that without Quinn easily.
  5. Yeah this happened to me too. After Lord Tharsis owned my sorry arse and nobody was around to help me kill him I decided to finish the bonus mission of the bonus series 1 later and wanted to continue with the quest. Unfortunately talking to the quest giver ended bonus series 1 and so I couldn't finish the bonus of the bonus anymore. That's when I decided to always finish the bonuses before talking to quest givers again.
  6. Because enraged sunder and battle cry are both skills to increase your rage pool? Depending on how you play you don't need them both. Having one is fine for me at least. And since sunder has a rather long cooldown and since I use the leaps as often as I can I prefer battle cry. Also improved sunder assault doesn't make a significant difference in most fights. Assuming you have sundering throw, then 2 points in improved sundering assault only reduces your build up by 1 sunder activation. Imho it's a feasible option to trade it off into 2 points in single sabre mastery for example (+4% damage) and use a free attack like ravage while waiting for the 2nd sunder cooldown to pass. The only obvious choice is decimate. The other 7 points don't make a huge difference in how you spend them. Depends mostly on playstyle imho.
  7. Yeah that is not a good idea. Only use the passive mode if you want companions to de-aggress from a bugged NPC. Otherwise they tend to do strange things. I learned that running around a bit, doing a bit of jumpy jumpy gets your companion back to you too without any weird behavior in the next fight. I also noticed that using force leap over terrain obstacles can cause your companion to do strange pathfinding. If you leap over canyons or up high terrain steps your healer wont heal you but run away searching for a way to walk to you even if he was still in range. So only do that if you know you can down the NPC without heals.
  8. Yeah that is because you are too far ahead by now. But don't worry. You wouldn't be much higher if you had done them in time either. You say you don't pvp. I suggest you give it a try at least. The very first pvp quest will be a participation quest only. Together with this one you'll get your first daily, which orders you to win a match. If you are lucky you win the very first match, which gives you: around 15k XP for the match itself, 15k for the first pvp quest and 15k for the daily (approximate number, could be higher because you're below the quest level). Whoosh, around 45k or more XP for a few minutes of meshing buttons. Don't worry. PVP is nothing mysterious. As for not mentioned reasons why you are underleveled. 1) Did you try to always claim the bonus part of the missions? This makes a big difference. It makes you kill much more NPCs and gives large amounts of extra XP. 2) I suggest you really do the exploration. It gives a significant amount of extra XP (you can do that even now, it will still give you fair XP instead of the lousy +5 you get from low level quests). And while doing it don't be reluctant to kill standards and strongs, especially if you aren't sure you have killed the specific beast already. This way you collect the bestiaries for more XP and sometimes luck out on commendations/blue/purple items. Also keep your eyes open for lore objects although I admit they are often hard to spot. Well that's how I play it. Just like you I didn't do many heroics or flashpoints. My valor rank is only around 10 o 12 meaning I didn't pvp much on this toon. I skipped the space fighting stuff completely.
  9. Depends on how smart they are. Well, and on your ability to protect your healer. They could use their CCs on you and their interrupts on your healer. Or the other way around. PVP is more about the player than about the class. There is no cookie-cutter setup that will grant you an easy win.
  10. Aww man... I did BT a lot only to read now that it wont drop. On another note, I have seen a couple robes during my grind but never opted to use one. Does the Juggernaut have the same "fat arse" problem that the Jedi Guardian has with robes?
  11. That's actually true. The problem is twofold. The amount of CD abilities you have as a JK/SW is huge. It takes a lot of playtime to find a decent keymapping and to know your chains. And what makes it worse at medium levels is, that you get new abilities every odd level, which often changes the chains you just started getting used to. So yes, JK/SW are tough to play and the grind can be quite frustrating. But I promise it gets better close to the endgame. Eventually you'll know your chains and you'll have settled yourself with a decent keymapping. And then these 2 classes are very fun to play.
  12. As a Rage spec Jugg I don't have any issues in PVP. Scoring top damage is very easy if that's the only thing you're aiming at. And even if you're not you'll end up top3 anyways. Also it's more fun and more stylish than doing it as a BH/Trooper. But I admit, that at levels below at least 35 it's rather pointless. You need a lot of high level skills to truly make it count. At low levels you're useless.
  13. No you can't because you can only pick up what drops and afford so much. As far as I remember there was pretty much stuff limited to "dark side III" or similar, which was better than my orange gear temporarily. At level 50 your alignment doesn't make a big difference, true. But don't forget that you don't start at lvl50 and that you can't spawn your gear at will.
  14. I have never seen the one where you don't even deal damage. But the other one happens quite frequently and is pretty annoying. Sometimes the target is even out of obliterate range...
  15. Initially I decided to stay chaotic neutral. As a true Sith I believe you're not supposed to be evil. Instead you're supposed to bring down your superiors as well as the mislead Jedi. Your ambition should be to instigate your own reign and fight the powers being. And this sort of mindset works nicely with Vette as your first companion. But sadly this game doesn't worship staying neutral. In order to use decent gear you have to pick one side even if you think it's stupid. So I went dark side, because quite frankly light side is wrong for a Sith anyways.
