  1. I am not really sure. We are going to try and capture it this next Wednesday run. I know for a fact I was repaired. I pulled out the droid and made sure. I did switch to lightning stance then back to dark charge, and made sure dark ward/harnessed was active. When I placed phase walk down, that is when I noticed the extra damage for the next few attempts. When we tried him without phase walk down....damage was considerably lower to me. Also, inside the portal the entire group seemed to do more damage and take less damage. We shall see this next week if it happens again. Thanks guys!
  2. I know it was 8man. As I took screen shots of the first two bosses with the phase highlighted. We do tank swap on the knock back. The extra damage came when he was hitting me. I would barily survive until the next knock back. The jugg tank didnt have any issues. We did kill the caster in time. A few times we did get the debuff, and we expected the extra damage on that. The trees where pretty far. We tanked the boss/adds right near the throne area. The two trees we only noticed once.... so cannot confirm if it was more than that.
  3. Yes, I was the tank in question. I noticed that I had forgot to use phase walk the first 2 attempts. So I casted it, and from then on I took way more damage in phase 1. In phase 2, our entire team was taking tons of damage. The healer just could not keep up. We also noticed that the add in phase 2 was barily going down in time, where before we killed him with maybe 5 seconds or so to spare. After I stopped phase walk all-together, everything seemed normal again. We still wiped, but we are learning this boss. But we noticed it went smoother. Then on our last attempt for the night, we say 1 dark grown on the front right corner and another on the back right corner.... The whole group looked at them and confirmed it. We looked at our parse for the last few attempts and noticed that dark growth was pummeling us. I also noticed my increased damage from the boss in phase one was insane. He hit me 20 times. I only shielded maybe 2 of them, and absorbed 3. The rest were 7k+ hits.... Our jugg tank didnt take anywhere near this damage. I checked my Dark Charge / Dark Ward / and Harnessed.... all where up and going. The only thing that would help was Force Shroud.... lol
  4. I think it might be the purple circles to be honest. As a tank... I communicate with our other tank and we are slamming every orb with the hand. We also are not taking all that much damage...or atleast we have been able to manage it with our cooldowns. I think we will skip the finger buddy idea, and use the "run through" your finger during a purple circle. I honestly think that is what is whiping us. Is that purple circle. Both of our healers are pretty competitive with healing... they each are hitting over 4k hps, and our lowest dps is at 2k dps....with our snipers considerably higher. We are giving a couple more hours at this on Friday night, so I will try to make the adjustments and see what happens. Each week we are getting further and further, but this phase has been blocking us for abit.
  5. I have played a jugg tank since launch, and my 2cents would be no... In the old days, we could hybrid with immortal/vengeance and it was a very viable tanking spec. Infact, thats how I tanked because you got better defense and more dps. It was also good to pvp with so I didnt have to respec all the time. However, now.... no it just isnt doable on the lvl 55 stuff. You will be missing way to many abilities that cause your mitigation to get higher as well as having very limited high threat abilities. You could be OK....at tanking. Maybe a backup tank and get away with that, but it would be difficult for the group to keep you alive if you main tanked. Go ahead and try it though. Worst case it doesnt work.... No harm no foul really. Just let the group know you would like to try it once so they are aware and dont just drop group cuz the tank sucks.... Myself.... I bring 2 gear sets. My main is tanking so all of my ultimate coms go to upgrading my tank set. As I get Elite coms, I use those to gear my dps set and I just respec vengeance when dps is needed. Its really the easiest way to get the best out of both tanking and dpsing. I should add... I spec vengeance for pve flashpoints or ops. I spec rage for dailies or pvp. Hope this helps
  6. My guild is having some issues with defeating Brontes on 8man HM... We can get to the phase where the 6 fingers are in the center, and the 2 hands on the outside. Our tanks angle the hands to slam the orbs.... but our middle group dies after the first finger is killed and it snowballs from there. Our group makeup is this... Tanks - 2 juggs Healers - sorc/merc or sorc/sorc Dps - 2 snipers / merc / sorc I have watched numerous videos, and read numerous strats but something just isnt adding up. We arrange 6 people to stand next to the fingers.. and we focus down the first one then move to 2 etc Our snipers drop aoe on the 2nd/3rd fingers and focus down the first one with everyone else... We have finger buddies, so once number one is dead that person moves to relieve their finger buddy... It isnt working... are we waiting to long to move people? Whats the trick here... Our group is made up of 72/78 geared people... so I dont think its a gear issue. Any help would be appreciated. We are still searching for more tips, but figured I would post here and see if anyone could chime in with a possible tip that we are missing. Thanks everyone!!!

  10. We have a casual/hardcore guild that could use a few mature members. We raid Friday/Saturday nights around 9pm Often we do others throughout the week, but those are not scheduled on the calendar. If you all are mature and want to just have a good time then check us out. We progress a little slower then others, but it makes it less stressing and less game burnout.

  12. I wouldnt mind seeing multiple characters on the same server with the same name. All they would have to do is make the Legacy name count toward your naming. How many people would have the same FIRST and LAST name? I think the Legacy name is game wide isnt it?
