  1. I am still trying to fathom just how I could possibly use that much ram. I only have 6 gigs, but honestly, I still feel that is more than I need. That said, I want your ram....
  2. Uh, I very clearly read and understood the first time that you had to be actively subscribed to get the coins. Even if you do have to go searching, ignorance of the law is no excuse, and neither is it any excuse to complain because a person didn't actually go search for an answer. I will feel no pity for those players, and I will actually laugh at them in game because of it.
  3. I stopped reading the OP when I noticed that he complained about losing endurance with the new gear when he would actually gain it if he just remembered he needs to put his augment into the new gear to see he gains 10 endurance.
  4. Really? An ability for a Sage/Sorceror to further close the distance between themselves and their target? Please, tell me honestly, what Sage/Sorceror would actually want to get closer to that Operative/Scoundrel... or that Marauder/Sentinel? If there is going to be an ability for Sage/Sorceror to use their lightsabers as part of combat, then it needs to be a brand new tree which gives them defense upgrades. They are squishy enough as it is, they do not need to be put even closer to the classes that will kill them quickly in close range.
  5. Yeah, Vanguard can use Rocket Punch... without a jetpack... it would make perfect sense. Scoundrel could use a vibroknife... with a shotgun equipped.... Commando can fly up in the air and rain missiles down from his wrists... with a heavy *** cannon. Yeah, let's abandon all sense of logic. Hmm... I think I see some flaws in your line of thought. I only see this happening after they go to the F2P model, where they will add in a Cartel item which allows you to do so, with Jedi/Sith classes. Other than that, I don't see it as being very likely to happen, at least not for an expansion or two.
  6. So, you are complaining because you want to be lazy and click less? It's not like it is rocket science, report and ignore.
  7. Speaking as a person who plays all three types, as the tank, you need to let the DPS know what you want them to interrupt and assign them specific channels to interrupt. On my DPS, if the tank doesn't say he wants something interrupted, I just interrupt the big attack (such as incinerate on the droid in LI HM) and nothing else. If I notice the attack is being interrupted by someone other than me, I will stop simply because I am not going to waste time on the interrupt that someone else is doing because I could be using that time to keep the boss from enraging. As a healer, if you need an extra interrupt, you had better tell me, because I focus on one thing the entire time unless otherwise asked, and that's the health bars. Can I fit an interrupt in when needed? Sure, but I am not going to look for it because that is the job of the tank or DPS if the tank decides. The tank needs to moderate the fight, so the tank needs to tell everyone what their responsibilities are. If you aren't doing this before the fight begins, then you shouldn't be expecting people to use their interrupts at all. Tanks know (and should) the fights better than any other player because they are the ones who have to deal with all of the different mechanics.
  8. So you expect that you should just have to play offensively rather than defensively? Instead, you should probably tell your teammates that there is someone on the goal line and have two of them hunt the person down and kill them. It's not that difficult to prevent as if the person is not invisible, you just have to do a quick look around your goal line and you can see them. As a Guardian/Jugg, you have an even better advantage as once they get the ball, you can just charge to them and push them off into the pit. You are just playing poorly, as is your team, and perhaps you should try thinking of counter-measures rather than complaining about a mechanic that was made part of the game and with good reason.
  9. Just because characters appear in every movie doesn't mean they can't be supporting characters. How many of the movies are based around the struggles of these two droids? A main character is one who the story revolves around. Someone who is important to the story. How much of a role did C3-PO play in Phantom Menace? What about Clone Wars? He appeared shortly and then faded out. If the prequels didn't have C3-PO at all, there never would have been any question about where he was. What about R2? Had he never been involved in the prequels, there also never would have been a question about it. What if Anakin had never been in them? Well, now you do have yourself a problem because he is a main character. The story revolves around him. The number of appearances of a character have nothing to do with establishing if that character is a main character in the story. The fact that the story is dependent on the character is what makes them that.
  10. Never heard this one. If they don't understand the game, it is their own fault. This game is very straight forward about pretty much everything. I didn't expect anything except exactly what they told us. I didn't expect this game to revolutionize MMO's, I didn't expect this game to beat WoW in anything, I didn't expect the game to have all of the luxuries some come with such as an LFG tool. If you expected anything except what they said would be available at what time, it is your own fault, so yes, it is the communities' fault. If you can't be patient, it is your own fault. When they rush out fixes, it breaks something else, so I'd rather wait for a fix if it means I won't have to deal with something else being broken. Yes, this is the communities' fault. In part, yes, because the community didn't roll on lesser populated servers like people were complaining about at launch, but instead they rolled on the heavily populated ones. However, Bioware also is partially at fault for opening too many servers. Grass isn't green on either side of the fence. Because most people kept rolling on the big servers. It's not the fault of the people who rolled the dead ones, but the ones who rolled the heavy ones instead. This is where we should have character transfers. To Biowares credit, they are bringing them in. I don't blame people for not paying $15 every month to play on a dead server, but once character transfers come out, if they don't resub to at least see what happens, then yes, it is their own fault at that point. Are you just making stuff up now to make your list longer? Yep, you are. How many threads in these forums are blaming the community as opposed to blaming Bioware? At what point does it stop becoming Biowares fault and we stop blaming them for every little thing, especially some of the things we can control. LFG tool? They have an LFG comment readily available. All it takes is 5 seconds to say "FP Heals" in it and people can guess based on your level what FP or content you are willing to do. Bioware can be blamed for a lot, I'll admit. But the community can be blamed for a lot too.
  11. You have completely missed the point of the rule of two. The rule of two was created in the first place because what was always intended was for the apprentice to take the place of the master, proving he or she was stronger than the master. What instead would happen was several apprentices would team up to take down the master, then only to have one take the position of the master, but being much weaker than the master was. With the rule of two though, in order for the apprentice to become the master, he must surpass in power not only his own master, but the power of each master before, as the current master is going to be more powerful than all before. This fact is why Darth Sidious was the most powerful Sith to ever exist up to that point, he had to surpass the power of every master before himself in order to kill his own. This ensures that the Sith continue to grow more powerful rather than grow weaker, as they did when apprentices would unite to take down their master. The rule of two is Darwinism at it's best.
  12. In order to define what is good and evil, one must first know what is moral and immoral. If Lucas knows the absolutes, then he can define what is good or evil. If he does not (which none of us do...yet), then he can only state that they are good or evil in his view. If it is only in his view, then it remains relative and therefore each person gets to define what they will as good and evil. As it is, George Lucas can only tell us what is good or evil within his universe. This discussion does not limit itself to his universe though, but rather it moves into our own universe and its concepts of morality. We can measure them by our standards because in order to say we can't, you have to prove they don't exist in the first place, which requires disproving the multiverse theory, or at the very least, proving that there are a limited number of universes and one which is exactly like the Star Wars universe does not exist within reality. I'm quite certain none of us can prove or disprove any of this, so it is perfectly reasonable to discuss the nature of good and evil within the Star Wars universe in comparison to our own.

You have to choose that either there are absolutes for good and evil (which you don't believe), or that good and evil are relative and therefore the Sith are good in their own right, just as the Jedi would be evil according to the same perspective. You can't have it both ways, saying there is no absolute good and evil but then calling someone evil, without creating a fallacy. As for the definitions, good and evil are simply, in the context this subject puts them in, defined as morally right and morally wrong, and those are the concepts being debated. So, unless you can define what is morally right or wrong with certainty, then you cannot say the Sith are not good. The only absolute that can be given is that in George Lucas' mind, they are evil. Again though, that requires that he knows the true definition of good and evil in order to make that judgement. Otherwise, it comes back to being relative to each individual.
  14. Right, because a screenshot showing the /who list with the same name as the person who killed you and their class saying "Sage" next to it is impossible to do. Or even to just target the person and let the tooltip do the work for you if you want. Again, screenshot or it didn't happen. There are plenty of ways you can provide evidence to back your claim if you put a little bit of effort into it.
  15. You know, there are some people who are meant to play football, and then there are people meant to play soccer. Some people just won't be able to handle Marauder/Sentinel because of the skill level it requires. That means that they probably shouldn't be playing it. If they really want to play it, they will learn to adapt, and if they do not, they will fail. I used to play a game called GunZ: The Duel. When it first came out, it was typical shooter with an over the shoulder view. However, suddenly the Korean players (which the game is from Korea) found a glitch in the game. They found you could pull out your sword (in a game called "GunZ," the irony that would bring) and then jump, slash at a wall, and you could get a second jump. They would then jump, slash, dash at the wall, and repeat, and suddenly people were reaching parts of maps that would normally take much longer to get to and be far more difficult. Then, these same players found that you could both block and slash with your sword at the same time due to another glitch. Then, they found you could slash and switch to your gun to shoot while in the air. And before you knew it, we had for gameplay. Just to give some perspective by the way, they are playing at about 10 kps (keys per second), which is considered slow and sloppy compared to what players do today. A typical "easy" move is: (Dash) » Jump » Slash » Gun 1 » Shoot » Reload » Sword » Dash » Slash » Gun 2 » Jump » Shoot » Reload » Dash » Gun 1 All of those count as 1 key with the exception of dash, counting as 2, and that one step is performed in 1 second. So, what was the point of all this? Well, most people just weren't cut out for playing that game because it required too much skill, coordination, and nearly inhuman reflexes. Just the same, Marauder/Sentinel just isn't meant for some people because they can't concentrate on 30 skills and all of the boss mechanics at the same time. It doesn't mean the class needs to be changed, it simply means they will never be able to play as effectively unless they take the time to learn to play well. OP, if anything the class needs more skills and quickbars.
