  1. I fear someone in the dev team thought it would be a good idea to not increase mm ops drops while all the other rewards get doubled.
  2. Every little **** gets an immediate reply by musco, even that traditional jedi robes guy. But nothing for mm ops. Or any kind of vet/mm ops related issue...
  3. Where is the fix for the UC drop rate in mm operations? nvm. musco didn't even acknowledge that it exists. mm ops drops are neglected all over again
  4. Once per day is not enough for you? There are a lot of heroics you can do so time spend will be quite high if you do them all once per day. Anyone remembers the time some heroics needed a full 4m group? Good old days. Now its just them vs. your companion...
  5. The files you are looking for are located in: C:\Users\{Your User Name}\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings and are called he{Server Number}_{Character Name}_PlayerGUIState.ini Just rename the ones from your old server to suit the new server number. For example: Darth Malgus server has the Server Number 4000. So you rename the file to 'he4000_blablablablabla_PlayerGUIState.ini' Your whole GUI State will be there again. All with proper positions, custom channels and custom colours and so on...
  6. This lag is happening for our guild aswell since the move to the new hardware at the start of october. It is arguably worse then what happened in dp and makes this content almost not playable. Release of NAHUT will be worthless if the instance is just wobbling around like that.
  7. West Coast: Region with one language -> 1 Server 1 physical location East Coast: Region with one language -> 1 Server 1 physical location Europe: Region with three languages -> 3 Servers 1 physical location With what bioware has made out of their own statement I really thought that it was one of the easiest to understand messages there was. But apparently not even bioware themselves understand what they write/communicate...
  8. Sadly there is no such utility. There are lots of fights where one would like to play Pyro but the amount of aoe damage incoming pushes you to going AP again. (A&E for example) But dont't let that fool you. There are fights where playing Pyro is pretty good (bestia). Overall it's the loss in defense and the low dps difference between those two specs that make playing AP pretty good and Pyro just meh. Learn AP, master AP and then learn and master Pyro.
  9. Extreme lag spikes yesterday in both gftm and dp.
  10. If any tank would have problem with energy then primary attack with no cd and energy cost would be valuable. But a tank is not meant to do the huge damage (and that wont change with that attack), a tank is meant to mitigate damage and that's what pt/vg is lacking. Additionally a tank in current operation and flashpoint does not have to kite a boss and that defeats the purpose of having a tank running away. Your ranged basic attack argument is not valid for tanking discussion (mitigating damage).
  11. VG/PT have asked for changes in their tanking spec for a long time but no answer is coming from developers and noone expects any answer, because frankly they don't care. Just look at what 5.0 brought to the tanking world: Another extreme defensive cooldown for assasins to again almost completely negate mechanics on a short cooldown but we are still stuck with useless transpose and nerfs to our defensives.
  12. Shouldn't have introduced solo mode to complete Revan story. (Maybe I should start a thread aswell and hate on everyone else's opinion when they disagree with mine...)
  13. So you had tier 1 and tier 2 gear before 5.0 (3 tiers available) and now you probably want to have tier 4 in gold (4 tiers and extra subtiers available). Maybe someone needs to rethink their own gear needs. In other words many people now have the chance to get higher gear then they used to. Instead of appreciating that there only comes hate. If you have done flashpoints before with tier 1/2 then you can still do flashpoints now with tier 1/2 and the difficulty should be about the same...
  14. Vanguards and Powertechs are totally fine for pve content. (And with fine I mean in a very good position!) We currently are in the position that taking a powertech/vanguard into a group is something that is actually liked by most people. Tactics/Adv. Prototype is a very good burst spec and you will do good damage with reliable outcome. The spec itself is easy to play and rewards you with good dps even with short time after learning. With some extra time and game knowledge you will do very good damage and fight for the top dps spot in the group in many of the fights. Plasmatech/Pyrotech is the dot based spec for our class. While I do think that it was a valuable spec before the damage buff to it, it now is even more. I advise everyone to first go and play Tactics/Adv. Prototype and then go for Plasmatech/Pyrotech. T./A.P. is fine for every boss fight in the game and there is no urgent need in a normal group to go P./P. but for your own amusement and some additional dps go try and play it. It feels weird at first coming from super easy T./A.P. but the joy it brings is worth it. To what JHeezey is saying: Either you lack a lot of skill or you're just trolling. Vanguard/Powertechs performance in pve is absolutely fine for the last years. And pointing him to roll fotm is really not what you should do. Commando/Mercenary dps is now the junk class of current pve with the immense amount of nerfs. Granted, for skilled players they just go to use A.S./I.O. or compensate with superior knowledge of the fight, but let's face it: How many are doing that and how many are giving up on their class? tldr: Vanguard/Powertech is very good for pve. It is not the flavour of the month but it does greater then average dps on both specs if played properly and the buff to pyrotech even allows us to play 2 different specs in endgame pve now without sacrificing group dps.
