  1. i fell in love with the sith warrior storyline back in beta. its awesome, both as light side and darkside. light side you can really pull off the Noble Warrior trying to improve the empire from the inside thing. there are some places it feels a little clumsy, but it works on the whole. dark side, you can just go full on moustache twirling villain and leave a path of mayhem and destruction in your wake. some parts actually made me do a double take and be like...did i really just do that? i also dont necessarily agree with complying with Vette's initial request...the other option can be fun.
  2. im returning to the game after a lengthy time away. last time i played, slicing lockbox missions resulted in a net loss. is this still the case or was it fixed? not tryin to get rich quick, but id at least like to know im not going to lose money by running the missions
  3. i guess i dont understand. cant you just do all the planetary quests first, then go back and do the class quests when they are grey(which means no 12x bonus), but not to the point where they provide 0 challenge? even back at launch, if you did every planetary quest on each planet, you eventually became overleveled. the 12x exp got me to resub because ive always wanted to see more of the story, but didnt wanna slog through all the extra stuff.
  4. ive played tanks almost exclusivley in every mmo ive played...SWTOR is by far the most annoying game to tank in that ive played. knockbacks are everywehre and its just flat out simply annoying as piss.
  5. seems like the core issue is that the only way to reliably get thermals is too have multiple, preferably several, characters running the missions non stop. logging on and off between several characters in order to make a crew skill mission remotely profitable is not my idea of fun, and poor design.
  6. id love this as a feature, wouldnt really care if it was a hard reset with the companions gear and affection even. id prefer it not be, but itd be worth it to me to be able to replay a class without having to roll an alt and start from level 1. obviously i think yer choices would have to be a hard reset. you could always just replay it again if you didnt like your new choices!
  7. agreed. race changes, name changes are things that are pretty standard to pay for. but hair and basic customization options is rediculous to charge for imo.
  8. sith warrior is my favorite class story so far out of sw, jk, bh and trooper. that said...none of them are really "great" when compared to other bioware games imo. if they had tried pawning any of these stories off in a single player game, id have been insulted. they arent exactly horrible, but they all seem pretty bland and relatively straightforward. i honestly think people are just shocked at an mmo with any story, and are giving them somewhat of a pass~
  9. frankly, none of the stories are that good imo. they are all pretty bland and lack character devolpment. at least sith warrior, jedi knight, bounty hunter and trooper do. i cant imagine id be blown away by any of the stories at this point. if any of these stories were in a single player game, theyd all be crapped on pretty heavily. its just that its an MMO, so they figured people would be happy with bland stories since "omg mmo with a story, never been done!" meh. obviously im disapointed with all the stories
  10. this game needs phasing, badly. it would tremendously help the story feel of the game. and given this games heavy reliance on story..... people hate "that other game" for whatever reasons, but at least questing there feels like you are having an effect and changing the world some
  11. i had an uncle that lived up there. its quite beautiful. just look out for bears (long story)
  12. lil late to the party, but i am another person living in Kzoo. seems to be the most represented city here....odd. spent some time in lawton, battle creek, and monroe as well.
  13. i think the story is alright, the only class ive got to 50 so far is sith warrior, and while i did enjoy it, really it pales in comparison to the storytelling of the original kotor. is the story really that good, or are we just falling for the "an mmo. WITH A STORY!!!" factor and thus have lower expectations for the story itself?
