  1. Let me transfer my character to a less populated server please. It''ll help me out and it''ll help out server population balances. A win-win situation.
  2. Yes, you should be able to do a search on the item name alone without digging through categories. Amazing that you can't, really.
  3. ..and by "successfully" I mean "received an improved recipe" and not just getting a couple of mats back. I've Reverse Engineered many items now. I know the basics of how the system works. I've had "unlucky" attempts on other items where I've needed to RE a crafted item maybe 10-12 times before the improved recipe dropped. Other items I got the recipe on the first attempt. For some reason I've never ever had a successful attempt on a shotgun and I've got to be pushing 40 attempts now across various levels. Sure, the random number generator may hate me but it could also be a bug so I'd love it if you'd respond if you've had problems with shotguns or if you've had success. Thanks for your help. (Oh, and I'd love to be able to search the forums for similar posts but the search button seems to have gone missing.)
  4. Yes, but how about RE-ing dropped items? Has anybody received a recipe (improved or not) from something they have not crafted in the first place? Or are the mats the only thing you'll be getting from them?
  5. I've started armscrafting and I'm a bit confused about what exactly Reverse-Engineering will do for me in various situations. I understand that RE-ing any item will return a few mats based on the level of the item. I also understand that you can discover better recipes (green-blue, blue-purple) from RE-ing. So here are my questions: Does RE-ing dropped items have a chance of giving you a new recipe or does this only work for items you've crafted yourself? (I've tried about 20 times with random items so far and have yet to get anything but mats but I could be getting unlucky) Once I have learned the advanced recipe for a given item, is there any point in RE-ing more of that item (other than getting the couple of mats returned)? Are all green recipes bought from the crafting trainer able to be improved upon using RE or are there some "holes" in the system where no amount of RE-ing will get you a new recipe? Is the chance of discovering an improved recipe through RE-ing static or does it change as the item's level increases? tl:dr - title pretty much says it all.
  6. Honestly, reading posts of how flawlessly the servers performed under (my estimation) a 40% load is ... underwhelming and pointless. Move on.
  7. Thanks BioWare! Thanks for giving me no meaningful information about when I can expect to get into early access. Thanks for giving us zero days of a grace period. Thanks for aggressively deleting threads and making up random reasons for doing so. Maybe I can figure out a way in which I can give you even more of my money! Thanks!
  8. An intelligent, insightful, and well written post? Today? I must be hallucinating.
  9. Yeah, the female voice actor for the inquisitor is fantastic. Haven't heard the male version. I would absolutely roll an inquisitor first thing if it weren't for my perception in beta that roughly 3/4 of all sith types all went that way. You could get from one end of a zone to the other by walking on all the Khem Vals' heads!
  10. Ahh, another thread I can't read fast enough to keep up in real time. lol
  11. This is way more fun than leveling up a new bounty hunter. Wheeeeeeeeee!!!!
  12. Between page 600 and page 700 exactly 25 minutes have expired. LoL ... and I think the post per minute rate may be accelerating.
  13. I dare you to try to read this thread and keep up with the new posts in real time. I double dog dare you!
