  1. Looking for a crafter for UW Relic of Fortunate Redoubt - I have the EEE, MMG and Isotope. Msg me in game on JonnyMuck -Jonny
  2. 1. From a tanking perspective, the only real difference I've perceived in the 16 man modes is the NPCs tend to have a bit more healthpoints and do a bit more damage. The item drops are a bit more plenty as well. Although I don't know if the loot is much different than 8 man. 2. As a general rule, you can follow these guidelines at the SWTOR website - Here(http://www.swtor.com/info/eldergame). If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to drop me a msg on here or on the board. May the force be with you! -Jonny
  3. Solid guide! Thank you for the updates! Subscribing to this guide for more info in the future.
  4. The way taunt works in this game is based upon your current threat at that time. Most of the time, it is wasteful to use Taunt abilities at the beginning of the fight since threat is at 0 (depending on the fight, you'll need too use it) However, just as an example, toss in a force sweep (4 stack armoring debuff [if specced] and accuracy debuff) + Sundering Strike + Hilt Strike + Guardian Slash before tossing a taunt, you should see a huge threat increase there at the beginning. Hopefully that helps somewhat.
  5. Hey, I think the Noxxic guide is fine for a Defense Spec guardian. The rotation isn't too bad, but can definitely be improved. The only change I've done in the talent tree are: -- In the Vigilance tree, for Accuracy, I removed two points here. -- In the Focus tree, for Swelling Winds, I added two points here. Honestly, accuracy should not be as important as keeping your mitigation stats up (you can maintain agro at starting base accuracy with correct rotation) . In my play style, I went ahead and added some accuracy to get up to 95%. My mitigation is a bit skewed (running Defense Chance of 32%, Shield Change of 50%, and Shield Absorb at 47% [absorb low due to accuracy improvement, this would be at 50% if i dropped my accuracy stats]) Hopefully that helps, feel free to message me in game. The most important thing as a tank is to absolutely be aware of the situation and adjust accordingly.
  6. Hmm do they even make reflex mod 27? I thought after the 22 variants, it moved to the 3 stat variants such as Agile Mod 27. Check out this thread for a list of crafters for 26 and 27 items. Remember, BH armor pieces such as the enhancement/mods can be RE'd to get Molecular Stabilizers as well (and a chance of learning the schematic). Same applies to PVP War Hero gear.
  7. It might be prudent to actually look through the thread and see who can craft the 27 mods. I do believe there are crafters who can do the Resilient Mod 27B variant. It might be beneficial to contact them to see if they can craft the non-B variant or know of someone who can.
  8. Regardless of faction, People are always in need of tanks and healers who understand mechanics, gear optimization, and are aware of the present situation in any fights/ops. I suppose this is also true for DPS. There is always room for any class.
  9. While I do find that critical rating is good to shoot for, I happen to find more success in achieving a certain critical chance percentage. I found that basing percentage solely on critical rating is often misleading (at least for my commando in gunnery spec or combat medic spec). For instance, My critical rating is below what people recommend and I am sitting at 33% Crit Chance unbuffed. Crit chance is affected by these values in the Tech area for my commando: Aim (Main stat) Cunning (still don't know where this comes from, but is it in there) Critical Rating (obviously) A good critical chance % to be at unbuffed is around 32-33%. I also have not seen a huge difference at 35% unbuffed vs 33% unbuffed. Hopefully this helps.
  10. I have a 50 healer (commando combat medic) that could lend a hand. Currently, that toon is in a ops group (haven't progressed to EC Hard yet) - send me a tell IG to JonnyBravo or msg over boards.
  11. On the thread I linked, Post #8
  12. Check my thread out, I think you will find crafters for what you need: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=565624
  13. High defense percentage around 33% is pretty good when SC and SA are around the 50% mark. Obviously, it'll be tough to get SA to 50% with stacking so much defense. It takes an abundant amount of +defense to get to the 33% mark even being correctly specced. Expect to be using EWH/WH relics with +defense to get up to that percentage.
