  1. I'm getting close to 50 and was wondering how to deal with gearing up for OPs and all the end-game. Most of the people and advice I come across is to gear up with pvp since hard mode FPs don't quite cut it. I've read from some people that they can gear a new piece of gear every 3-4 days? Is that true? They said to do the daily/weekly and you'll get pvp gear easily. The only pvp quests I've gotten so far was to go to Outlaw's Den on Tatooine and participate in a warzone. Am I missing some quests or something? It can't be that easy to just participate in a warzone. I'm a Jedi Sage spec'd for healing and so I was wondering how difficult is it to actually do the things necessary for pvp and to get pvp gear? Can I just follow people around and heal them?
  2. Bump for hopefully other advice and experiences, not that the previous 2 posters didn't have anything good to say.
  3. Unfortunately I'm the only person of my group playing this game. No friends available =/
  4. I haven't started doing pvp but I figure I should probably start eventually, if only to do the pvp dailies for champion bags or whatever. I wanted to ask a couple questions though. What exactly do these pvp dailies require of me? And is it possible to do it as a seer? I hardly pvp and don't take enjoyment from it so I'd be trying to the minimum possible and would like to get it done quickly.
  5. I'm not sure if I have the time investment that I used to when I played WoW to be able to find a guild and set time every week to do a raid in this game. Also, I'm not sure how operations compare to WoW raids in that you need to know the fights in and out and that pugging could and usually would lead to a ton of wipes and require a long time to complete. Since this is the case I wanted to just find 3 other dedicated "casual" players and just do hard mode Flashpoints instead. Is this idea viable? Would you be able to just straight into hard mode fresh from hitting 50? Or after buying whatever gear you can from commendations and GTN? Or is the progression: Operation > Hard mode FP > Hard mode Operation > Nightmare Operation Also, is it possible to still gear up for endgame with only hard mode FPs? I'm not sure how many tiers of armor there are but for example, would you still be able to get tier 1 or 2 out of 3 from just hard mode FPs?
  6. I was wondering for the magenta crystal, does everyone need the frozen water to loot the crystal after you kill the boss? Or just one person?
  7. Where do you find the Voss Mystic set? Also on another note, is there any good looking modifiable gear for Qyzen and Nadia? Right now my Qyzen is wearing a mix of oranges I got from commendation vendors and so he looks kind of stupid.
  8. I've been leveling up as sage and I've realized that in all commendation shops our mods, the resolve line, is always 1 rank behind everything else. And in Coruscant, I believe there are no resolve mods either. Is there any way to get around this and get decent mods? I'm running orange head, chest, legs and lightsaber so I need mods to keep my armor viable. I check the GTN all the time but since the game is still pretty new the market is saturated with mods and junk yet.
  9. I was wondering what's the fastest recipes to make to level up biochem quickly? I feel like it's pretty behind for me and that's because a lot of the mats I need don't come up often in diplomacy and bioanalysis missions.
  10. I was checking the mods that we can buy with Taris commendations and I noticed that there are no resolve parts. Are we just forced to buy stuff on the GTM this time around?
  11. I guess it is too early still have set builds and all that jazz but I was wondering if there is a good general build that I can follow that will allow for solo leveling and flashpoint healing? I've checked around and saw some builds people made and posted but I was wondering what to pick first? People have said that putting 5 points into telekinetics is necessary while others say pure seer first is better to get rejuv and clairvoyance asap. I'm just not sure which skills are worthwhile to take early on and which ones can wait. I guess it is too much work on their part and I shouldn't be lazy but it would be nice if people indicated when they picked specific skills in their builds.
  12. So I'm thinking of turning my consular into a sage when I hit 10, and going full healing spec at that. However while I'm leveling, there's a ton of skills I'm learning and I'm not sure what is worth using and what should be ignored. I was wondering if anyone could just give me a general rotation or heads up on what should be main skills to use on cd and others to use when nothing else is up. For healing and solo DPS please.
