  1. ^^^^This I think its fair, every mmo I played that had PvP the healer was given credit for a kill if he/she aided with a heal.
  2. The problem is either people have short term memory issues or have not played any MMOs from launch, this is typical from every MMO I ever played from launch, I have learned through experience that it takes 6mo to a year for a game to develop to its full potential. I won't go into examples of other games that horse has been beaten way passed its decay stage. I am willing to bet that any MMO to follow for the next couple of years will be the same. I have liked some of those games and disliked others. I am not a hater or a fanboy of any particular game. I am decently educated rather intelligent and understand the development cycle of MMOs, I have several friends and acquaintances that work as consultants and in other capacities. It takes time, if this game is not up to your expectations then fine move on, but I could never see the reason to create hate and discontent or try at least for those that might be enjoying themselves.
  3. There are 18 adv classes, hmm you have 4 sub classes with 2 adv classes each, 4 sub classes per faction. 4+4+4+4=16 unless there is something in newage math I am missing. Any faction based game I ever played you were never able to send items or credits to the opposite sides, EQ1 has a shared bank now but that took a couple of years for that to happen. The only way I know of was playing a neutral area market game.
  4. I don't deny the fact that you practice safe browsing practices but you do understand if you use WI-FI hotspots you double your risk of being "hacked", if you can see the hotspot other users can see you. You may not have your system up to share but that really doesn't matter.. Just last month some students from the university here got caught hacking other peoples computers at the starbucks where students and faculty hung out. they were stealing music and papers, tests etc. How they got caught was literally and ironic situation, when one used information from the IT department faculty to write a paper on internet security. No one is really safe from getting hacked.
  5. I liken the mentality of people leaving a war zone because their team is loosing the sames as playing a neighborhood basketball game and your team starts to loose so you take your basketball and leave the game because your team sucks. Same kind of thought process I feel.

    Titles

I have noticed that many titles have been removed from the game that were there during beta many of which I liked. 1. I think a better selection of titles would be nice since I am a title whore. 2. Would like to see the ability to select a prefix title and a suffix title something like Lord SoandSo the Malevolent etc. just some thoughts for future expansions
  7. I have submitted several tickets on this, especially on the Alderaan speeder issue, they need to fix this as well, but still feel there should be a penalty implemented for leaving the war zone, maybe after the getting booted issue has been fixed.
  8. I agree, I think there should be a penalty like having to wait say 5 maybe 10 min on voluntarily leaving a WZ before it ends. I am guilty of it myself, mainly due to seeing half of the ops group leave, then that what the hell is the point mentality set in. If you leave a warzone before the match is over then there should be a consequence for this action.
  9. If people would notice and truly followed stocks technology stocks are down across the board, uh let see electronic entertainment is considered technology. Just a trend.
  10. I for one go with the default price not that I am being lazy, I think it is fair price if I don't think it is a fair price I will usually lower it not raise it. I have never been one for price gouging and over inflating a market. If one feels the need to buy mine and then resell it at a higher price then so be it. I made money and if someone with more credits then sense buys at the new price then so be it. I am secure enough an successful enough in real life I don't feel a need to do it in a virtual world.
  11. I agree BW is between a rock and a hard place, its damned if they do or damned if they don't. Though I bet most of those that complain about patches not being properly tested, probably don't have a character started on PTS to help test. Though BW could throw a bone out and an incentive to go the Test Server, allow say a mid level and a High level character with level appropriate gear to help test the patches.
  12. I remember those days, at times it would be every day, others it would be every couple of days but we were down 2-4 hours and I remember a couple of times servers were down for 12 hours. Should of heard the nerd rage then. Oh yeah the ragers predicted WoW would last only 6 mo.
  13. What keeps me playing; 1. Star Wars fanatic 2. Star Wars fanatic 3. Did I say star wars fanatic. 4. Overall its a pretty great game, and my family plays and so do my friends. Only reason I would leave is MMO burn out. I find most MMOs rather dull and uninteresting after awhile and get bored an quit. Haven't hit that wall with this game yet, maybe because I am playing 4 different toons each with their own class story so it keeps the interest there.
  14. run as admin as everyone says. Mumble seems to be a swtor friendly alternative it even has the voice users showing up on your game screen so you can see who is talking. Rather annoying though if you as me.
  15. I have just the opposite happening, I have a couple of companions that will attack who or what i am attacking but then when the fight is over they will randomly take off and attack a random mob. Andronikas on my SI does this a lot.
