  1. I mostly go 1-15 with rank 1, 15-20 with rank 2 and then mix of rank 5 blue/purple.
  2. I will wait and see. It might be better, but it also can be as bad as it is now. They didnt say what drop chance will be from "other" bosses. And how many Tokens you will need to change one piece of gear on vendor. If it will be like 10% chance to drop from boss and you will need 20 Token for one exchange, than no thanks.
  3. Dont forget that you will stil need Command Tokens from Crates to be able to change Unassembled Gear piece to assembled one. And we dont know how many Tokens will be needed for one Gear piece exchange. Lately i am expecting only the worst.

  5. If you want to compare to XP boost. There are important differences: 1. You get a lot of XP boosts though game standard story chapters. I still have several bound in my cargo hold on several max lvl characters. 2. XP boosts only work for limited time. (Until you get to max level) CXP boost works indefinitely. They are direct increase to chance to get character geared faster by doing same content in same amount of time and same amount of skill. I am mad because i pay for sub, so why i should pay more to have all GEARING benefits the game offer? For some who counter with you get free CC you can use them. It is not even close to valid. Since you get like 9h of boost from your free CC.
  6. New and good repeatable stuff is for keeping people longer in game. Random chance to get random piece of gear once a while is clearly not that. Main problem with new system is that there is no feel of satisfaction when you archive something. When you kill operation boss and he drops nothing or when you finish flashpoint and get no reward for finishing. It is like you level character to max level and then you have to level him one more, but now only SOME of game activities will give you experience not all of them.
  7. It is very clooooose to pay to win. Why should we pay more if we want to get gear faster, when we already pay full time subscription. It is like now you would get from each last boss in operation one additional token if you pay some CC. Or you would get more crystals from PvP if you pay some CC. They are sources of gear after all, just like command crates. Exactly this. It is horrible idea. Excellent idea would be remove these and add 20% toggle able boost to all subscribers.
  8. I read that there will be 12-13 different gear sets per command crate. Is it 12-13 sets per one gear lvl or is it 12-13 sets across all gear levels? By gear lvl i mean 216, 220, 224 etc.
  9. Ohh so swtor will be free while i will grind gear? Thanks for the new informations, in that case it will be awesome. Sarcasm off. If you play as preferred/f2p you will get nothing. So no it is not free since you can farm CXP only if you pay them => you spend time and money to get into same state as you are now before expansion, because there will be no new content that require BiS gear only the old one. It is simple. Now people who are geared and want to Raid or PvP have gear and do what they want. After expansion these people have to grind gear for no idea how long to be able to do same thing as they did before expansion. There is NOTHING new for them (except maybe few more abilities and class changes, but it is not expansion). So these people have right to be pisses, because this expansion gives them NOTHING but BLOCK them for some time from the same content they can do now.
  10. This exactly. A lot of raiders dont do operation specially for Bis gear, but do it for he fun and operation itself. Our guild raid few times a week. We are not near best raiders in game and we dont claim to be. We managed to beat most of nim/hms, but we still miss some scalps. So imagine our situation, we have whole group of people geared in best gear (simply because we cant do it without that gear) you can get and we are learning and practicing mechanics on not defeated bosses so we could one day beat them and feel the accomplishment. Now they introduce new level and new gear system with pretty much no new group content. So we have to stop our tries and start to gear our toons once more. (to get to same place as before expansion) Eventually we will have almost whole team geared, but one will have bad luck and will not be getting gear he need. Rest of the group will not be able to help him in any way than praying and will have to wait and wait and wait until RNG finally give him his blessing. (While in current system you could go into operation with friends a simply give the gear that drops to person who needed it most) Right now no one have real data to know how long gearing will take. But most people are afraid of RNG because the situation i said above can happen with it and there is nothing you can do to increase your chance (to get gear you need) with it.
  11. 1. Ops group loose one player, they find new one with skill but they cant help him to gear to do content with them. 2. Only same advanced class Alts are sorted, you cant help get set items for any different class. 3. Once you gear the char in top gear, all additional gear he get is almost like waste, so they simply discourage you to play on him after that
  12. Just to sum it, P2W means exactly what it says you have to Pay To Win. In SWGOH you cant get to top PvP ranks without paying a lot of money (no subscription), no mater how good you are or how long you play.
  13. You dont have to explain this system cons to me. I fully believe it will be VERY BAD. I used to get gear with my guild raiding group where we share loot and gave it to people who needed it most or had worst luck, which now will be impossible. But as i said in my last post (follow up from the one you respond). "HOPE is the only thing we got right now."
  14. I believe you and think it will be as you say, but HOPE is only thing we got right now. BTW: Vendor and raid gear has nothing similar, except item rating. Vendor gear was always endurance heavy => mostly useless for DPS or HEAL classes.
