  1. Hi, I'm hoping the solution to this problem is simple. Basically, I've gotten my toon to 450 and I've gone to the vendor to purchase the final Advanced Armortech skill. It says it's 451-500. I have the 50K, and I'm at 450, but it won't let me purchase it. It doesn't even tell me I do not have enough skill like it did before. So ... I've tried to get to 451 in case that helps. But no amount of crafting will let me progress past this point. Is there something I'm missing. Please help. Thanks.
  2. I read a few posts that suggested that we get 3 prefab droids with our stronghold? I did not get these or else I didn't see them. Can they be found elsewhere? On the fleet perhaps? And is there a way to add them to the stronghold? And finally, can I add a market interface to buy and sell goods as well? Thanks.
  3. Well, as I said above, when I sent Mako away, it didn't help. They all attacked me at once, even if I dropped off the platform without firing a shot. The only way I got past it was by NOT sending Mako away and letting her die up there. YMMV.
  4. So yeah, I finally got past this one. I should apologize to the community. I was wrong. The problem wasn't the quest, the problem was how I was trying to complete the quest. I had also read the posts that said that Mako was the problem. So I tried at least 10 times after sending her away. I finally got a response back from support that was extremely vague that lead me to believe they were trying to tell me that the quest was possible. So that's when I thought about it some more and realized that the quest wasn't sending Mako away, she was in the room with me. So maybe I was supposed to cheat and "use help" despite the fact that the guy says "no help from others" in the quest. That would be the sort of thing a bounty hunter would do. So I tried it. And I noticed that when I had Mako with me, she attacked the others on the platform and died. But then I realized that the mobs who came after me were way more hurt than any other time, possibly because of friendly fire from attacking Mako. I died. But tried it again. The second time, they killed her but I was better ready for them when they showed up. I took them out one by one and got through. It is important to drop off the platform so that you can solo them when they come after you. But the quest is totally possible. Good luck to those that follow.
  5. I am hoping someone here could help. I cannot get past "The Melee" so I'm not able to progress, leaving me stuck on this rock. I've searched for possible solutions to the problem. Some have suggested that Mako is the problem. So I've tried sending her on a scavenging mission just before entering the instance. I've also tried following one person's recommendation to drop off the platform and let everyone shoot each other. No matter what I do, the second the fight starts, all the other bounty hunters attack me and me alone whether I fire a shot or not and regardless if Mako is there or not. I've tried running around the room trying to isolate a single bounty hunter at a time. But they run around in a pack and the second I stand my ground, I'm dead. I opened a ticket on this yesterday but haven't heard back. Any suggestions? Could I have too many light side points or something and that aggros everyone? Does everyone have this same experience?
  6. Thanks for all the responses. This is what I was missing. After the game finished downloading and patching, I went into the Cartel Market and saw the green text. Once I clicked that, the inventory items appeared. And right clicking on the inventory item activates it. Jumping through hoops ... accomplished.
  7. Same here. But if you check the server status, it says everything is ok. But I get booted after about a minute or two of playing the game. Server is definitely toast. Edit: checked this morning and everything was fine.
  8. Again, sorry for the dumb question ... but how do you "claim it to your inventory?"
  9. Hi, I realize this is a dumb question. But I just purchased an unlock with cartel coins and now I'm trying to create a character with that race and it shows that it's still locked. I seem to remember that you have to login as the toon you used to purchase the unlock and it will appear as an inventory slot or something? But I don't see it. Is there a delay? How long does it take? Note that I also checked my mail to see if it gets delivered that way. Seems like a silly way to purchase and deliver game upgrades. But ... just want to get past this block and create the new toon. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
