  1. Wow, thank you very much for your quick reply and your detailed answer. Also thank you very much for bringing in the solution with both versions. I appreciate this very much as this particular piece of clothing is in almost all of my characters' wardrobe somewhere. I'm looking forward to having them wear it again, and maybe have a weather-based swappable set. This makes me very happy!
  2. Thank you for mentioning this. I had the same issue with my normal launcher after a small patch download and it works fine to just ignore the text and click log in to get into the game. You helped me a lot! Thanks!
  3. I have to say that I'm really disappointed. It's been more than half a year and it still isn't fixed. Now it's summer, and guess what we'd like to wear in summer..... mini-skirts with NO LEGGINGS! Let's hope that this tiny little hint from last patchnotes where they mention some leggings-issues to be fixed in a future update is what we've been waiting for. And let's hope it doesn't take them until next Life Day to actually fix it.
  4. Well, it was definitely downloading at 40-50 Mbit/s for over an hour. And when I checked my monthly data volume it sure had 40 GB more traffic than before. Interestingly, a few hours later when I tried again there was something like a file check and a download of about 2-3 GB, and now the regular launcher works again as intended.
  5. I have the same issue. Last night the 1 GB update was good, I played a bit and it was ok. This morning the launcher downloaded 40 GB and now it says that my game client has the wrong version and will not connect to the server. So, I lost time, I lost a considerable amount of my monthly data volume and the game is not working anymore. That's not good! Please fix this ASAP! Edit: So, I tried the Steam-Client and this one works fine and did not download additional 40 GB. But the stand-alone client is now broken. I remember that this same issue has happened twice before during the last 3-4 years. Unfortunately, the Steam-client is locked to my main account and will not start with any other, so I need the stand-alone.
  6. Thank you very much! I was afraid I might have to search for new stylish clothes for my characters. And, yes, for Hoth and other planets with rather cold climate I usually do have alternative clothes with pants and a few more layers in my closet. 😉
  7. Thank you! Yes, it must be a glitch because I noticed that while it displays leggins on my characters it does not when my companions like Kira or Risha put it on. Let's hope they can fix this soon.
  8. The Regal Apparel Mini Skirt is one of the few mini skirts in game at all, and it has always been without leggins. A few years ago it started to display leggins in the preview, but thankfully not in the game. Now with 7.2 this has changed and the mini skirt shows the awful leggins ingame as well. Please fix this horrible bug! Half my characters have been wearing this mini skirt because it WAS a mini skirt, and not some fancy pants with some cloth attached.
  9. It definitely isn't for me or others in my situation, but I can understand that it is fine for someone who is not affected by this. Thanks for pointing this out. I never used a server transfer so I didn't know (and didn't care) that the decorations were copied in the process. It now makes sense to me why they are not just adding the numbers, but it still feels unfair for me and others who never transferred a character.
  10. Same here. Guess I'm not alone with this problem. While I don't mind if some players get some extra decorations for free if I can keep all of mine that were honestly earned, I do understand that it would be a poor business decision to let a large number of players have lots of stuff they would otherwise have spent money on. Until the discussion in the other thread I didn't know that a server transfer acutally duplicates stuff because I never felt the need to buy one. So, it seems that there's only a small group of players who will lose stuff: those who have multiple legacies on different servers without ever transferring a character between servers. I think that Bioware should be able to track who never had a transfer on their account and be able to add the numbers for them. On second thought.... there's probably so few of us that fall into this specific category that it wouldn't be worth the effort and they rather risk losing a few of a few players that might quit because of this (well, I won't, but it's still not fair for us.)
  11. I don't know about server transfers because I never used one, but I can assure you the latter is not true. Unlike the unlocking of cargo hold slots or legacy bank slots or the unlocking of clothing sets which are indeed accountwide across all servers the decoration is server specific. This includes flashpoint trophy unlocking, pets, vehicles and other stuff that are part of a legacy, but not accountwide. For example, I killed the Rakghoul operation boss in hardmode on one server and unlocked the hardmode trophy for this boss on that server, but on the other server my group did not manage to kill the boss and so I did not have access to this trophy for my stronghold on server 2. And even such unlocks are not the problem, because they have a low limit (10, iirc) and you get them for free once you accomplish the achievement. I got no issues with having only 10 of these on the new server instead of 10 on each server now, because they were "for free". I am talking about decorations that need to be bought with any currency and therefore have a certain value to every single piece that has been bought. For example, I farmed bounty hunter tokens during the event to purchase the carbonite wall decos. I did that on both servers and I bought the same number of decos on both servers. The way the FAQ was written clearly says that I only get the highest count of any one deco item as a new total. Let's say I bought 1 piece of each carbonized bounty target on server 1 and the same amount on server 2. I farmed the Tokens seperately on each server and used them to buy each piece of deco. According the the FAQ I get the highest amount (1 each) as a new total, but I spent additional time and additional tokens to get the second set of decos. That time and currency would be lost. I don't consider this "fair"!
  12. As much as I'd love it to be true it really doesn't sound like it's going to be that way. That's what I fear and that's how I read the example. And I would certainly not be happy about it. I mean, if they reduce the number of standard decorations it's still bad, but you can buy them with credits again. But many of my decorations come from tokens that had to be "farmed" for, like the bounty hunter event. I repeatedly completed the daily quests to earn the tokens and I did it on both servers so I could have the decorations in my strongholds on both servers alike. That took up quite some playtime, so I expect that I can keep everything I have been working for. The way the FAQ puts it, half of what I did during my playtime the last 3 years was irrelevant, because I will lose it in the merging. That would be totally unacceptable to me! Does anyone have more detailed Information and can confirm my concerns or prove them wrong?
  13. Greetings. I just read about the upcoming merging of the strongholds and I'm a bit concerned. I have characters on two different servers and I own the Nar Shaddaa stronghold on both - with slightly different, but also many identical - decorations each. Some of the decorations were bought with credits, others with cartel coins and others with tokens from several in-game activities (like Gree or bounty hunter events). I read the (highly contradictory) FAQ about decorations: If the combined number of any one decoration item is NOT added, but merely taken the highest number, then I seem to be ending up with only half of my decorations, right? I have taken great efforts to get several decoration items on both servers alike and the above example looks like half of these will just be thrown away. This hardly sounds like decorations are "not impacted" by the update. Does anyone have more detailed information about this issue? Thank you in advance and may the Force be with you!
  14. Ok, that makes sense because I untrack missions that I don't want to show up on the Interface. I kinda like to choose what missions I want to actively keep track of. The nice thing about the old galaxy map was that it reminded me of what else was active on that planet whether it was currently tracked or not. I definitely liked the old version of this feature better, but at least I know about it now. Thanks for pointing it out.
  15. That is not entirely true. There were some class- or quest-specific locations that were not one-time only. They were still present on the old map and you could always return to those. On the new map they don't show anymore. Also, the planetary details of the old map listed all open quests for the selected planet and the tooltip listed them as well when hovering the mouse over that planet on the zone map. That was also removed.
