  1. My opinion, next "freebie" you guys should drop is a working pazaak table that allows you to interface with other players same server to play against. Heck SWG had Mahjong decos and the TCG, I imagine devs of your caliber could easily program this.
  2. Likely an obscene amount of time as they increased valor earned per loss. It used to ve closer to 1750 per loss.
  3. Figured somebody may find this useful, feel free to have a look, leave a comment or suggestion! This lists total number of warzones needed to reach valor 100 broken down into wins losses and the average there of. Enjoy! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Y1UC5FTvm2yWXDikmjbn-5jZ6-0CW6eyBNLFZLdTelk/edit?usp=sharing
  4. So, I've read through most of the first few pages of the general forums and once again, post patch flaming is full bore much like 4.0. Now granted, most of the content released in 4.0 gave opportunity to the more casual players (even us veterans didn't mind you giving them a break) you've basically all but shunted everything said by your community for a long time now. In live streams you boys have done a fine job at dodging the hard questions promising to pull something greater from your ever emptying Pandora's box of bad tricks. I personally like the part where Musco pulled no useable items out of 3 boxes at command rank 91 (we all laughed with you, and then died a little inside). But here's where the brass tacks kind of come down, we realize you're busy, we realize you have families, but this is your child, you've reengineered a gear system (that SWTOR admitted did not work in 1.0) and now have a lot of pretty angry people who play this game pretty seriously. So my question to you, the good developers who have earned our trust, are you willing to talk about some of the things that maybe aren't going so well. Please keep in mind, between your staff you more than likely have centuries worth of MMO programming and gaming under your belts, we... your public... have millennia and all we want is some simple recognition and answers. We are all willing to help make this a better game, and all of us have some great ideas how to make it that way, so why not sit down and have an open board with your fans before the last hoorah. We are willing, are you? Up or reply to this post if you would like to see the Devs have an open talk about what's going on.
  5. Will the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event be returning this year?? If so is there an expected date as it usually goes live around now.
  6. So, as sometime last week Manaan is still bugged, and is not applying appropriate completion for killing Stivastin under the achievements section, I have finished the DvL event so I cannot personally confirm whether that is effecting DvL completion yet again or not. Time to go back to the drawing boards Eric, I can understand that like any project this game is ever evolving but with this being probably the third hardest FP in the game at the moment people are not usually inclined to do this more than once to complete DvL. With the update coming on Tuesday I hope you guys can find a way to fix this and apply the update on Tuesday Oct 4th as well.
  7. I could imagine the kind of late night trolls... Gathered around a pazaak table... Or dejarik! Make it a cartel item like the cantina bundles, you'll make your Dev money back on sheer micro transactions alone. It would give people a greater reason to congregate in SHs rather than I put down all this leet stuff I got over the years. Do you want to come over and stroke my ego? Also... If it was like the original swtor you could draw credits to and from the economy. Make it a PvCPU style or have it so you can have multiple players join the same game. Either way, get it done because guys, I know you've been wanting this too.
  8. Obviously those of us who ground out the event to full.completion before the last chapter came out are now wondering when the last section will be granted. For those who did you can imagine our play time to finish this was on the higher end. A little communication would go a long way, have you found the problem have you found a resolution and are we going to see this sorted soon. As if it was not bad enough to battle through the bugs of Depths of Manaan until people figured out you had to deal direct damage to the boss to get completion. It would just be nice to know when we are going to see the fruits of our labour Eric. Especially since you basically told us to pound sand when you were asked to live stream this event.
  9. My point is merely, if you want to make a new toon for new content over the summer go for it, do not force players to run more stuff for more achievements that cover the same content that was already covered by other achievements, its redundant, and displays an extreme lack of player courtesy. Do it... NOW DO IT AGAIN. No I did not gain all the previous runs through Cademimu for the wook, but even those included I only have 216 left to run. So... no big deal. After about 45k achievements something like that is a small fish to fry, but having to do even 15% of those achievements AGAIN... would be a horrible miss use of time and energy.
  10. I'm okay with the events being difficult, or not necessarily easy to complete. I'm okay if its a time sync in terms of you're going to have to put work in. But we are not talking look I could play 2 - 3hrs a night to get this done. We are literally talking weeks upon weeks of PHYSICAL playtime in order to finish this. As somebody who HAS done nearly all the achievements in game, I can assure you that finishing the top tiers will not only take a great deal of determination, but you might as well kiss your kids and partners good bye if you want to actually get this stuff done. SWTOR swayed the way of the weekend warrior with going F2P, fine... it helped server populations (very little for anybody actually trying to do something difficult, but whos counting) Then they step back and move towards a more story like approach, hey who doesn't like a good story, most of us were even willing to tolerate the changes in 4.0 that would lengthen any attempt to finishing objectives such as operations, FPs or anything else that was difficult. Now that most of the bugs are fixed things are slowly getting back to normal... months later. Now... lets move on to this "event" its a great idea IN THEORY. But, you know the F2Ps either wont pay the CCs to complete half the objectives, and the subs wont do it out of spite because we have already done all this stuff. So, in order to save everyone a lot of headache and embarrassment, please before you leave for your summer vacation, turn on the 12X exp and leave everything alone. K thx.
  11. So this is about the most asinine thing Ive seen to date in game. You gave us achievements as to track our game progression, and now... to the veterans you tell us that we need to REDO all of this content again, The flashpoints alone represent over 16 hours for the top tier alone, this is nothing more than an enormous time sync that actually REQUIRES veterans to PAY for CCs and make 8 new characters to do this event. Thank you once again causing a detriment to the people who have been paying your salaries for years now
  12. Aggressive Negotiations is a culmination of Blasters'nLightsabers, Girth and Hakuna Rakata. On off nights we pvp pretty heavily, theres a good chance youve seen us in WZs. A majority of our core members have been playing since launch. In addition to pvp however we also do end game content including re working HM and Nim operations, we currently have 2 pub side groups and 1 imp side. We are now looking at adding a third group for PVE, this will include gearing and training new players if need be. Conquest: although not a main goal of ours we generally place in the top 10 every week due to sheer pvp numbers. If youre interested in actually clearing content or not getting blown up being solo in WZs then come roll with us! Send whispers to Xylos in game if interested!
  13. Yeah, if you haven't done flashpoints or done companion story lines or quest lines or pretty much anything in this game. You only have 1 person to blame. If you cant find 3 friends to do HM SoA with well you should probably switch back to playing a single player game. Long of the short of it, the majority has NOT done it because they feel no need to do it. Your argument is not only ignorant, but invalid. As for the companions thing, if Bioware wont remove something we have paid money (real life or in game) then its really quite difficult to justify taking our companions away. Will they reinburse the cost of the cartel tokens spent, logically we can say no. But then there's the argument of we have spent the last 4 years playing with these companions, getting them gear, then re gearing them as the expansions come out. I'm sorry but the upcoming promises that bioware has resemble the same things that happened in Star Wars Galaxies, between the changes of skill trees to the changes of the way they plan on running the game as a whole. I think it is a fair question, WHEN will we see a new operation. Are you really going to take away companions that we have had for years? Do you really think there wont be any backlash from these poorly thought out moves. Yes some great ideas have been put forth, and sure we arent paying for this new content. Is that honestly the way they are going to justify taking things from the player base? I would highly recommend that Bioware take a strong hard look at what they are about to do, before you annoy not only your PVP and PVE players, but the people who have actually been paying you since your first day with Bioware.
  14. Changing previous operations and flashpoints is about the worst damned idea Ive heard of yet. I have been personally playing since launch and in my downtime of clearing the newest content and running around getting achievements finished I often enjoy going back to an older operation and taking a couple of friends in and doing it without a full group. The reason for this is the old operations are played out, its not about the DIFFICULTY of the operations or flashpoints, its about the going in and being able to enjoy something and have FUN with it instead of having to get a full group of people to do it. For the newer players that are coming in its difficult to get a full group to do the old operations anyhow, so its easier to just out level and go in and show them what it was like. Which to me is FAR more interesting than making them level 65 and FORCING us to have a full group of 4, I honestly do all the level 50 flashpoints on my own 1) To farm Biometric Crystal Alloy 2) To enjoy the storyline of the flashpoint that I didnt necessarily have time to when I was in a group of people who were just trying to slam it out for the daily. 3) Because as much time as I spend with other players in this game, sometimes its nice to hammer out a flashpoint alone. Basically what Im saying is you're not going to get people who have played this game since launch re interested in doing these operations again, they're done the time of their story is over. Let them be. You've already given veterans and new players enough reason to go back and do them for the deco. Stop screwing with them. K thx
