  1. I did do a quick search before making this thread of "14500 cartel coins" and "14500 cc" which didn't seem to bring up much. They were all threads from years ago. Maybe I'll have to be a little less specific and look deeper in the forums.
  2. I just recently came back to game and wanted to buy up some thing in the cartel market that I've missed since my time away and to unlock some things across my legacy. I remember back when I played there would be an offer that would pop up when you clicked on the 5,400 offer and it would say something like "Would you like to upgrade to 14,500 cartel coins for $99?" Well I tried clicking on the 5,400 offer and it takes me straight to payment. Is the offer for 14,500 cartel coins gone for good? I'll be very upset considering that was the best bang for my buck.
  3. Decos are definitely the biggest seller on the GTN. It’s how I make most of my credits in game. When a new packs comes out or an old one goes on sale I’ll open one just for decos and make a bunch of money off them and use that to grab up cheaper armor/toys/emotes/etc. Tbh, the newest pack (the grand chance packs on steroids) offer so many gold decos that have been selling very well for me. And it’s not even just gold decos that sell for a lot. I believe last night I sold a silver deco that was a luxury dining set or something of the sort for about 9mil credits. I’m always surprised to see the prices on these decos considering it’s a one time buy and sometimes you need to buy multiples of them. I’m not into the whole stronghold thing but I’ve seen some friends strongholds and they can look pretty fancy and have billions of credits sinked into them. Seriously, if BW didn’t put decos up on direct sale they are missing a HUGE market.
  4. This is one of the things I’ve actually been thinking about lately as well. With the amount of items available on the CM now 500 CC isn’t going to do jack to keep people subscribed. That’s a pitiful amount considering you can barely get anything worth 500 CC on the CM anymore. I think they need to adopt an incentive that adds up over time. Like when you first start your sub it starts at 500 CC then the next month it goes up another 50 CC or 100 CC if you stay subbed (not sure what a good rate would be, please give your input). So say we go with the 50 CC addition each month you’d go up to 550 and if you stay subbed the next month you’ll get 600 and so on and so forth. However, if you cancel your sub and resub it’ll restart back at 500 CC. It’s a great way to keep people subbed. Any input is welcome on this.
  5. When will we see a fix to this problem? Whenever I put an outfit on my characters that includes a hood it makes them completely bald and it looks absolutely horrendous! It pushes me away from buying any outfits with hoods (especially for my females) and some of them are really nice. Either that or allow us to put the hood down? I’ve seen a lot of my guild mates from past and present guilds complain about this as well so when is there going to be something done about this? I’m not even sure if it’s a glitch and it shouldn’t technically be “fixed” but it needs an update!
  6. I feel like this has been brought up before but it'd be so much nicer if the legacy gear from the crates you get while doing heroics were added into the Collections section. I don't know if there are many people like me, but I'm a collector and currently I have all of these pieces taking up my personal bank. It'd be so much easier and more efficient if we could just have them available in Collections once the entire set is finished, don't you think? Then it won't be taking up a large percent of the Legacy bank either when you need to switch them over to other characters.
  7. I think this is a great idea. I just recently came back to game and bought some new hair and after having already used my CC to buy it I had to pay more CC to even use it. That doesn’t seem right... but like someone else said, it would be smart to be able to use either CC or credits to change it. That way if someone wanted it changed right away and didn’t have the 1 mil credits ( or whatever it cost ) could use CC to get it right away. Honestly, I’ve noticed this game has become more CC dependent since I came back and I understand that the developers need more to keep making things... but it’s only going to push people away with all this extra CC you need to use to unlock things; like having to buy new hairstyles and then even putting it on. Sorry this got a bit ranty, but that’s my two cents on the matter. I think it’s a good idea, but I doubt the company will do it because more CC used equals more money to them. But hey, that Jedi robes guy got his wish after so many years so here is to hoping.
  8. I'm just curious how other people make their credits in game. There are plenty of different ways to go about it that I've seen and I'd like to see everyone's take in the 5.0 era. I myself currently do heroics by myself. I know you can make more in groups, but I always find it harder to get a group going so I just end up going solo. I do it on at least one character and I'll do the (on Repub side) the Tython one and then all the Coruscant ones. I think I can make about 500k right there. I could jump around characters and get those done so fast and make quite a bit, but I get pretty wiped on heroics fast. I also sell decorations. I seemed to have a very large amount stockpiled when I left game awhile back so I'm slowly selling those and man do they sell for a lot of money on Ebon Hawk. I'm usually getting about 1mil per deco even if it's something simply like a Nathama lamp or whatever. So how do you go about making credits in game?
  9. Exactly, and for the person that says I won't use all the gear... I'm damn well trying to use it on all my characters. Especially because I'm on a RP server and like to change up my characters outfits depending on what setting they are in. So yes, maybe I am hoarding gear, but that's what I like to do. Who says I can't? As I've stated before it's one of my goals in game to have all the gear collected. And yes, I do get rid of multiples but even then the legacy gear piles up.
  10. That's the thing, I don't use the legacy gear to transfer around gear or mods or what have you. I actually like to collect armor and gear in game. That's why I have an entire bank full of legacy gear at the moment because one of my goals in game is to collect all the gear available. And I understand (as someone stated above) that in Collections you need to use CC to unlock them. But why not just make it like 1-5 CC just like the promotional items? I don't mind spending that small amount to be able to free up bank space and be able to grab the items from the Collectiosn rather than transferring all the gear around in my bank/legacy bank. I mean you only have 6 slots in legacy banks and I've already almost got that full with other crap and not any legacy gear so I have to jump around so many characters.
  11. Okay, so how come legacy gear can't be unlocked in Collections? I've got a bunch of gear from those crates you get from heroics and it's stockpiled on one of my characters filling up his entire bank. So how come they haven't been added to Collections yet? It would make things so much easier and then I can throw out that gear I constantly get in the mail on every new character.
  12. I know I shouldn't really be advocating for more servers to be dying off, but if you want lowbie pvp then you should move to Ebon Hawk (for your East coast) or if you're not afraid of the ping, Harbinger. I'm on Ebon and we still get pretty decent lowbie pops. It's not as good as the lvl 70 pvp but I've never had to wait for 2 hours. :/
  13. Listen BW, I understand you need to make money to keep this game going, but why add customization options in the CM? Especially for additional hair colors. If you want to keep up with the newer games why not add an RGB wheel for hair and skin color. Then at least your character doesn't look exactly like the two other people standing next to you and your twi'leks can have any shade of color under the sun (sure, Chiss might be limited in the blue department, but at least you'll have more options!). The big thing that draws people (at least me in particular) is being able to make your characters stand out from others. I would also love the option to mess with things like nose length, cheek bones, heights, etc. Is it the engine that's not allowing this? I know of way older games that have the option to work more with your customization than this game. Give us more options. It's about high time we can customize our characters so they can stand out from the crowd and not look exactly like your friend next to you. I know you have the experience to give us more options. Otherwise you wouldn't be releasing new outfits every other week. And if it really does come down to money allow the RGB wheel to be bought off the CM or designate it only for subs! Seriously, we need more customization options.
  14. When I first saw this sale pop up last night I was pretty excited because with the grand chance cubes you're able to get full set armor instead of the pieces the other crates offer. I came very close to buying several last night but instead decided to see how many sets I could get/complete from pieces I already had with 9 mil I already had and I was able to complete/buy 13 full sets last night. It was quite a mix of bronze and silver and I think I completed 2 gold sets. Wish I actually took the time to write down how many of each, but meh. But if you're looking to make fast money these are good for selling. There are currently none on The Ebon Hawk GTN (I'm sure the ones on the CM are still on bind) but I have seen some in past searches. I believe these things sell like hot cakes and from what I remember they were selling for 700k each. If you buy them now and hold onto them until the sale ends you can make some big credits and then just buy the sets you want from the GTN. Just gotta be patient enough. I've learned my lesson with the RNG crates.
  15. Actually, that'd be a very cool new class. You could have the two advanced classes where one yields crossbows and the other maybe vibroswords? Not sure what the class names would be for the Republic or Empire side, but that'd be pretty neat. I've actually liked a few of the vibroswords but never used them on any of my force sensetives because they look strange on a Jedi or Sith. But a class that's not force sensitive using them would make a whole lot more sense. The only problem (as I saw someone mention) would be making a whole new story for both sides from 1-50 and BW doesn't seem interested in anything of the sort. As for new races, I'd love to see Nautolian.
