  1. Actually both you and Tux are correct on your assessments. EVen if they can't put more of this stuff out in the gameplay the least they can do is make it the quality of what we got with the generation I and II packs, but since the gen 3 packs all we've been fed is dozens and dozens of fugly armor and vehicle reskins. The only things even worth obtaining are the lore armor sets, mounts like the Droid Sidecar and Corellian Stardrive flash and emotes and toys.
  2. Which is REALLY sad, and yet the sub numbers keep dwindling and with new MMOs on the horizon this game's future gets even more bleak by the day
  3. most of them are probably casuals who want things handed to them in this case, if it's pve it's like oh don't touch my precious pve with a bolster but if it's pvp it's "OMGz we NEED a bolster, it's SUCH a l33t system and we need it for those just starting out because PVP is all about SKILL and less about GEAR" QQ I haven't been able to get my S1 highest rewards because solo Q has just been HORRIBLE on Pot5 Pub side. Meanwhile Imps seem to have it better, one of my friends told me on his main Imp he got over 1500 in like a very few hours, meanwhile my toons can't get many wins due to baddie casuals and pve'ers ruining it for everyone else. At this point I remembered why I hated Arenas so much and stopped Q'ing and that I'll just get the Rancor when it hits the CM.
  4. Of course it'll be modifiable. That's what I said in the OP, to replace the FUBAR'd system that is bolster.
  5. and? It's not whining, it's critiques because we actually care about this game and want it to improve. However since it's here to stay and if most of the focus and resources will be on the CM then swtor won't have its license renewed come its ~5+ anniv or whenever. Honestly it should have been folded. This game is a laughing stock to the rest of the mmo community due to such a messy launch and the months that followed, only to announce its transition to f2p... IN LESS THAN A YEAR. SWG should have never been closed for this mess.
  6. I love all the people calling the OP a troll when the OP is just giving his/her mature critiques. Guess most of these guys are just biodrones getting their jimmies rustled because their precious perfect MMO is getting criticized.
  7. Your argument is now invalid because Im a hardcore-competitive pvp'er and I love this addition to housing because I'm addicted to cosmetics. However in this game it'll most likely be underwhelming and tank because of the prealpha engine and due to the nickel and diming brought by the CM.
  8. I main a Balance Shadow and Scrapper Scoundy.
  9. To exchange mature and factual (and opinions made to be sound like facts) dialogue about the state of pvp
  10. Lol I really hope what that guy said was sarcasm
  11. It really does. VERY poor class balance changes (only second to the 1.2 changes), still HIGHLY lacking endgame content (even for pve), and now a new tier of gear coming soon to regrind. Now the problem isn't necessarily regrinding, but it's just there's really no new content to making earning this new tier of gear meaningful or exciting. It's just (another?) BORING grind. There's a new Huttball WZ, but that's it. That's all pvp'ers can look forward to for pvp in SWTOR for the most part of 2014... and not everyone even likes huttball. On top of that, this new addition of gear is pretty controversial. The community seems pretty split on its announcement and it doesn't help with a completely broken Bolster that we've been dealing with for the past year. Honestly it just seems like we're beating a dead horse. Many of us already know the issues and there's just things like Bolster (whether it should be kept and improved or removed completely) that the pvp community can't really agree on. A gear debacle is now in the mix. And BW is not doing much to alleviate just some of these issues. This game's pvp has just been dying and dying. Even since late last year I've been unsubbed and just playing less and less and less. Will there ever be anything for the pvp community to actually look forward to? We didn't ask for gsf, and we could have benefited so much more if those resources that were poured into gsf actually have been reserved for the pvp department (if there is any at Bioware Austin).
