  1. Favorite things; Exciting RNG gearing - Galactic Command gearing is very exciting. The new totally broken 5.8 conquest system - is so much fun not to play. Gambling Cartel Packs and the always fair prices and totally worth it Cartel market - totally safe from any gambling loot-crate laws. Year old bugs - makes me laugh whenever I get reminded of the old game breaking ones. Classic. Costumer service skills and helpfulness sets a new standard in the business. Returning companions epic 2min cutscene after two years waiting time is totally worth it - Thanks. Operation bosses released over more than a year - don't let other MMO's content releases get you down - your few drops of content is more than enough to sustain a healthy AAA MMO. Cartel market junk gets added on a weekly basis to prey on the weak-minded with no self-control. Love it. The Star Wars machine world of Iokath - a Dyson Sphere - is very lore friendly. The Outlander storyline - the very solid on-rail one story fits all of KOTFE and KOTET where choices matter. The dark vs. light pop-up in the most critical places brings back fond memories of pop-up Spam blockers. Great communication with the staff and management - especially on the official forum. Healthy population - with a solid 5 servers left - down from 220 - even server lag is great. Openness about all future development work of the game - 2 months in advance - and even if you don't get it right two months later, thanks for trying. Public test-server - only for closed testing - your internal QA team catches most bugs before release anyway - count on it. You still have a monthly subscription model costing the same as when the game was first released 7years ago - even though the release of new content is far far far from the same. Very bold move. Uprisings - the cheap flashpoint reskin version - without even the most minimal cutscene - instead full of high-speed trash mobs killing to really get your heart pumping. Easy playable Alt characters in Galactic Command gearing and in 5.8 conquest. Incomplete patch notes, stealth changes, ninja nerfs/class imbalance and secret metrics - keeps the gaming community on its toes. Livestreams on everyone's favorite Twitch platform - with a time and place announcement of that Livestream to the gaming community afterwards - devs handing out digital in-game junk to a very few Twitch watchers while dodging all their serious questions. Precious. Minimum to Zero rewards for doing group content, because who needs that in an AAA MMO. In-game trolls cannot be ignored account wide. SWTOR influencers that have signed an EAWare non-profit contract that forbids them to criticize the Tortanic when it's sinking. Refund policy on game downtime or on player inactivity - bought and saved operation passes - or any number of digital items earned or bought in-game - suddenly made worthless overnight. Reskins - everything from Uprisings, Warzones, Galactic Starfighter, Strongholds, Rewards to the Cartel reskin market - because it's just so much easier. The list goes on. So many things to like; Warzone passes gone - Commendations gone - Achievements gone - Players gone Favorable mentions; The two new Strongholds; one on Manaan with incomplete development meaning huge parts of it is being sealed off from the owner - the very high decorations number plus the silly placement of the hooks and the type of hooks means that it will seem full - when you have decorated only around 50% - with zero background music. And the other one is a lore friendly moving train earned in everyone's favorite buggy Umbara flashpoint, that will make you puke, if not from grinding alliance data to buy it - the hooks - or the overall design reskin/copy - then by motion sickness - also with zero background music - only the imposing sound of old traditional railroad tracks in a hover-train. Just Epic. Love it!
  2. Stop waisting more of everyone's time and roll-back the old pre 5.8 Conquest system. Or watch the game die.
  3. Sadly Disney and EA have been busy destroying the Star Wars franchise since George Lucas sold out, so I doubt they will intervene in the downfall of SWTOR or they would certainly have done so by now.
  4. More customer feedback; ZERO conquest points from me or my guilds for yet another week. The guild conquest score board is still not wiped clean - it still shows old conquest points from the very first week after the broken 5.8 conquest disaster was released. EAWare should not count that as conquest participation! There is ZERO participation and in reality 84 guild members quit the game since 5.8. in my guild alone. I am the only person online in my guilds - the game is on hold until they fix conquest - roll it back to pre 5.8 or watch it die nitwits
  5. They have not responded to constructive feedback so far. But if you or they want more constructive feedback on where they made all those huge errors with their new broken conquest system; I would suggest diving deep into the thousands of posts made on this forum by their paying customers, pointing out their many failures/faults/errors and mistakes with the new broken conquest system. And while they are gathering all that useful customer feedback - why not roll back the old functional conquest system - so we the paying customers can play conquest once again. The situation gets more and more grim while they wait - more than 80 guild members have quit the game in my guild alone post 5.8.
  6. You talk like a roll-back to the old functional conquest system is an impossibility. Let me tell you it's very possible. They can roll it back tomorrow, if they really want.
  7. Band-aids are not enough when you are missing your entire head. I am already disappointed that they totally broke it in the first place and did not roll it back the same day. My disappointment will not last forever as I will just follow the example of many others and quit the game instead.
  8. It certainly would not make me want to buy Anthem, if this is the case. Do they really think we will just forget the piss poor job they are doing with SWTOR and throw our money at their next live-service title by EA? I certainly hope not. Besides moving the close to non-existing, incompetent dev. team from SWTOR to Anthem will do more damage than good.
  9. They shot the head off their patient and they want to put on a few band-aids. It will not be enough - they need to go back to the point where their patient still had a head. The longer they wait the more players will refuse to pay them and leave.
  10. Not exactly prime examples of good patches and they were all not well received to say the least and marked the beginning of the end. Did SWG limp on afterwards yea but only on life support until SWTOR killed it. A lot of players left SWTOR because of GC - one year later they have finally made it more tolerable - but its still nowhere near as good as what came before. I don't think that all those players that left due to GC have returned - not even half or a quarter or close. Can SWTOR afford players quitting again on a massive scale? Are SWTOR there population wise to be able to go another year with players just quitting the game? I certainly don't think so - we are already down from 200 to only 5 servers today. How long can SWTOR survive when ques stop popping?
  11. Because it will kill the game if they don't. I was not referring to ops lockouts, but the decision to ignore - in the very last lines.
  12. They actually shot the head off their patient! And they are too incompetent to notice
  13. I am glad you came to this decision. I made the same one. Now if only we can make the few damaged braincells left at EAWare HQ understand the urgency in rolling back the new broken turd conquest system to the old functional conquest system - before the Tortanic sinks!
  14. 80 guild members quit the game after the release of 5.8. in my guild alone and we play on the Darth Malgus server. The rest including me are not doing conquest at all after 5.8.
