  1. +1 from me as well, there are so many things I want to tweak on my now level 50 characters that I can't. It would be amazing to have the ability to change things around appearance wise
  2. I was looking for a thread like this! I wholeheartedly support this. I have various crafting professions on different characters, for the rakata stuff to be BoP as it currently is feels pretty redundant to me.
  3. Male: Aristocra Saganu, Captain Yudrass, Jonas Balker, Darth Vowrawn, Attros Finn Female: Thana Vesh, Darth Lachris
  4. I'm very alarmed by this. I already have 8 characters on Ebon Hawk, 4 on Sanctum. I see nothing in this that reassures me as a customer that my characters won't be 1. deleted or 2. moved to a server I don't want to be on. Is there still no word on whether they will allow us to transfer to more servers or let us have more character slots? :S
  5. I'm an altaholic as well, I'd dearly love to see more character slots opened up for servers!
  6. I'm feeling a similar amount of frustration at the moment, I transferred a few characters over to The Ebon Hawk server but I already have a few on there, so I've still got 6 on Sanctum who are stuck there. It is incredibly frustrating that I can't just have them all on one server!
  7. Adding my voice to this, I really would love to be able to have the ability to change my character's appearance via a barber shop style mechanism in game.
  8. Just a reminder, it doesn't matter whether you're on the Republic or Empire side, the Corruption affects you the same
  9. From my experience, the Sith Corruption doesn't vary between species. It changes with skin colour. If you have a dark or stronger skin tone (say a Pureblood or Twi'lek with dark red skin or a Chiss with dark blue) then the corruption will make you go paler. If you already have pale skin (Zabrak with white or even a Human with a more tanned colour) then you won't grow pale, you simply get the shadows around the eyes and mouth and, of course, the red eyes. The screenshot example you gave of the Twi'lek has naturally dark red skin. If you opt for the lighter pink skin option then the skin colour won't change. I'll give an example of my Zabrak with Dark V corruption and without: http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/5630/withoutcorruption.jpg http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/1232/corruptionw.jpg Apologies for the poor lighting but it should give an idea.
  10. -Did you bother with the romance options at all? Who, and why? I'm a sucker for the romances, so I most certainly tried a few out. Urtel was my Inquisitor's first choice but... well, things happened. She eventually fell for Andronikos. She enjoys his relaxed attitude, gruff voice and his ability to surprise with little romantic things like the gift and the letters. It did help a great deal that his personality fitted in perfectly with hers. My Warrior will aim for Malavai, she enjoys pushing his buttons with the flirting and is looking forward to seeing him snap and push back. My Smuggler and Corso are getting on like a house on fire, though it doesn't stop her from straying, she knows he's there for her no matter what. My Imperial Agent has eyes for Vector but I haven't gotten far with her yet. -Did you avoid the romance options? Why? My Knight avoided Doc like the plague, she found him irritating and his attempts at seduction made her want to punch out his teeth. She's a fallen Jedi and immediately liked Lord Scourge, so she's holding out. A similar story with my fallen Consular, Tharan stole her heart and for various reasons I won't go into due to spoilers, she refuses to persue anyone else. My Bounty Hunter is waiting for a sweet girl to light up her life. -Did you wish you could romance somebody (any NPC or companion) but were unable? Lord Praven and Lord Scourge... I have a big thing for Purebloods. I also wish Tharan's romance could go further without being blocked by certain things but I'll just keep waiting.
  11. I quite like the look of a lot of the romancable males, Andronikos, Malavai, Vector, Aric, Corso... Pierce and Lord Scourge are also very attractive but I like big men and purebloods
  12. I've got a Pureblood Assassin at 50 and a Twi'Lek Sorceror at 30, I've heard a lot more comments regarding my Sorceror's alien status than my Assassin's Pureblooded status. I think Sith are expected to be humans and purebloods, therefore they don't earn much comment.
  13. Thanks for your opinion guys I will say however that as this thread is for avoiding the Doc romance and for those of us who don't enjoy him for our own opinions, defending him defeats the point of the discussion and also brings this off topic, I'd request that if you want to continue enthusing about Doc that you create a support thread for him. Apologies if this offends anyone, but the thread is getting weighed down with supporters/defenders and that's drowning out the message we want to give that not all of us like him. If people want to continue talking in this thread, I'd like to direct the discussion more towards what you would like to see as an alternate romance either as a same sex or heterosexual relationship?
  14. I agree, we should see some more options and it's good to see someone else who shares our opinion on Doc, it can get a little disheartening at times when you find you're in the minority for a character. I'm curious, do we have any confirmation on who wrote Doc? I've yet to hear any of the devs claim that they wrote him and I try to keep an open mind that it could have been a woman who worked on him, especially when one considers that one of the DA team (Jennifer Hepler) wrote Corso. @Noviere: There will be plenty more opportunities for you to flirt with Doc, don't panic
  15. Scourge is definitely not a romance, you only get about 5 or 6 conversations with him. However, you're not alone in disliking Doc's romance - myself and a few others wholeheartedly agree with you and would much prefer Scourge as an option. It's so disappointing that we're limited like this. As for more humans than alien romances, the romance options for males consist of a Zabrak, a Twi'lek, a Togruta, a Sarkhai and a Rattataki, then three human options. Romance options for females consist of a Cathar, a Kiffar and the rest as human (however, Vector is open for debate). A pureblood isn't that different from the species available for male characters, especially when there are customisation options for Scourge to remove the "face tentacles" if the player so wished. So if that was Bioware's reasoning, I'm disappointed that they believed female characters wouldn't opt for an alien choice.
