  1. you can, but do you really want to be that boring? Go out and enjoy leveling, its a real big bonus in this game versus other games AND youll level 100 times faster. as for the bonus, i dont know
  2. i thought f2p could post once a minute in to general chat ... may not be every second, but they can post the same message every minute .. that sounds pretty spammy to me
  3. well, you asked for comments. I replied, and most of the other posters who also replied to you seem to agree with me.
  4. because its supposed to be more fun to get a surprise? cant you face the idea of a surprise? i suppose its best to be able to anticapte everything and plan for everything, so you can be ahead of everyone else and control everything (GTN prices anything to do with this post, i wonder). They should know, by now, what their player base wants ... for me, theyve pretty much supplied what i want ... so why bother to engage people. Waste of time and a waste of rescources. All they have to do is read the forums, all you have to do is whinge/whine/post on the forums and theyll hear ya. If enough people agree, then they impliment. easy
  5. personalised ships = couldnt care less. guild ships have benefits = no way, why should i be punished for not being in a guild. Like the idea of fleet ships for guildmates though .. thats interesting. having a house to myself = you could have burglaries, court cases for your lazer defence alarm system cutting a burglar in half and you go to jail for excessive force ....... and all manner of cool stuff bwahahahahah. you could select what world to have a home on, have todeal with local criminals and beasties. some planets provide random benefits and you its purely luck to whichever one you get. This is a cooool idea.
  6. you can send mail to anyone on your account, doesnt matter which side.
  7. cant we have stuff like those scary guys you save from prison. Y'know, the ones with angry grrrr faces. the dreadguard guys. more grrrrrr. maybe some "your face, here. Call 1800 OUCH" stickers attached to lightsabers .. "jedi do it with other jedi .. im just sayin, is all" stickers on the back bumper of your vehicle. (im only jokin about the jedi bit [cough]) .. but how fun to have little stickers you could type anything in to and it would be displayed on your vehicle? "my other bike is a wookie" come on y'know, fun things. less deadly serious all the time, more fun most of the time. if i want job-type games, id go back to wow.
  8. Couldnt we nerf dps so that they cant behave like tanks and pull mobs all the time without dying. I vote for this.
  9. jeckers, i didnt know there was bots in this game now. since when? ugh, some people are just scum arent they. how can you spot em? in wow it was easy because you just had to follow em for 1 round of their travels and theyd follow precisely the same map route. I used to love reporting bots in wow or killing em. is it there same in SWTOR, fairly obvious to spot em?
  10. mare sure you're rested at all times, get the xp bonus thingie (hate it and youre a bad player tor using it BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to you) and do quests on each planet. Keep giving gifts to your companions, as they progress in storyline you get quests to talk to them .. xp for nothin. If you hate taking things slow and enjoying the storylnie (the best part, most players agree) then id do the daily fp and pvp quests. Fine xp and you can queue for them whilst questing on planets. You can do the daily quests, for daily comms, on belsavis/ilum etc from 47 (as far as i recall) and they are heavy xp too. Make your char a healer/tank if you want insta-queueing for FPs, thats also handy for quick xp and gear. Heroic 2mans/4mans also give a tonne of xp/gear/moneys .. make sure you do them all on each planet. Dont wait around for a group for 2 hours but do make sure you ask in general chat and dont be shy to join other teams. My personal favourite .... discovery dings. Youre travelling around the place and you get a small amount of xp for discovering new places. I LOOVEEEEE dinging to a new level by discovering a new area on the map hehe.
  11. hope not, i will unsub the second there is a level cap increase. might as well go back to wow, if that is how SWTOR want to treat their players. extremely lazy way to produce a game.
  12. you took one hour to come up with a name for a character on a computer game, bearing in mind you can use apostraphes in naming characters on this game. you took one hour, thats 60 minutes, to invent a name for a character on a computer game ... a name that could be literally any combination of letters. you took one hour to do that, one hour. 60 minutes. 3600 seconds. to think of a name, that can be any combination of letters up to and including a certain length and with the option of apostraphes and other things. one hour, it took you. one hour? i'll give you one for free .. name your next character jaroom'bohray. There you go, just plucked that out of my head in one second. and no, you cant have xxxdpsdkdpsdkxxx .. just in care you were thinking of it ...... try being even remotely inventive and you'll be just fine think of it as an oppotrunity to replace stupid dull lazy names to cool new ones .... yay you
  13. report gives BIO a heads-up .. so yes it does. ignroeputs the entire account on ignore .. so yes it does.
  14. Horrid thought. Removes any effort of players to decide whats best to do for their character and creates models of "farm this place til you get this item and never go back" mentality. let alone getting whispers from random people with messages like "oh, if you upgraded your item blahblah to blahblah you would get 0.011565% more accuracy and thus an extra 0.2276736736 dps from a figurative movement with minimal impact on CD regeneration" and then having to reply "F**/*/*/* off you fat spotty nerdy loser" Once you go down this route, the game loses any mystique and entertainment value of "oooo thats a big upgrade, cooooool" or 'the screaming ***** fights about whether comps can roll need on items'. all of this type of nerdy spreadsheet warrior stuff just kills off enjoyment of games and makes games in to jobs. i dont want SWTOR to become WOW2, so anything that is synonymous with wow must never be replicated here. We lead, wow follows .. dont forget that.
