I came back about a year ago after 3 years away and that's exactly what I did. All my characters now are new from then. Honestly, after so long away, you have to do that to relearn the game. I now have four 65 characters and am glad to have enjoyed the stories as well as becoming fluent with the game again. I'm not going to talk about all your points because others already have, but what you said about datacrons harder to get now because of level sync is BS because they are now bound to legacy. This means you only have to get each datacron ONE TIME then you have them unlocked on all characters which is one of the best changes I noticed since returning. Good luck on the new character, it won't take long~

On a side note, how to these things actually work? Do you have to have a previous 60 character? How would a F2P person even get one of those?

Since the introduction to the outfit tabs I have seen a trend where people will take three sets of legacy bound gear, create a 'dps set, healer set, and tank set,' then just switch them around their characters to fit whatever role they presently need. Of course, you then get individual character gear cosmetics from the outfit tabs. I can see the benefit to this as you would only need to create one set of gear per the trio which not only opens up more specs per character that become easily accessible but also different classes entirely that now no longer require being separately geared up. This is extremely useful but I quickly encountered a snag. Not all DPS, Tank, and Healer classes, or even specs for that matter, are geared the same. This brings into question, how much is this affected? If you wish to truly min/max this setup simply will not do, but how much does it affect things on a grand scale really?

The log in systems are just down. This happened for a day or so after update 4.1a. I'm not sure how long this will last or why it's happening now, but it's not Red Eclipse.

And? Who cares if you think it is creepy it's their choice! What if 99% of people think it's fine and you think it's creepy, will you still complain? Treat your characters how you want and let everyone else do the same thank you very much.

I did not want to post but it seems the more people that do the more traction this thread will gain. I bought one hyper crate and of it I received 32 chance cubes. I got only 2 items of actual worth in the entire crate, the rest being junk bronze weapons of old and a few uxiebeast mounts. It is absolutely abhorrent that we could even have the chance to receive two chance cubes in one pack! We need one new pack item per crate period!

I have full Yavin gear now with about 850+ extra basic comms leftover. I don't want to hit the cap and end up wasting them, so what can/should I spend them on? The most obvious choice is companion gear, but is that even worth it? What else is available?

Whats wrong with a teen playing? Im 14 and ive learned how to pvp/pve from my guild and leveling. (50 with full BM and half RAKATA) Older people might have played longer but that doesnt give them much of an advantage if they have only been playing SWTOR as long as said teen. SWTOR is a great game and there isnt another MMO like it...

Yeah, the WH gear shell with augment is same as BM gear shell with augment. With WH mods in augmented BM gear you have the same gear, aka the "best gear" and you still keep the look, cause most WH gear looks like ****.

It has to be higher. Some WH stuff and a couple of BM stuff is like 3400 comms so it has to be like at least 4000
