  1. That is because ambush is a ranged attack, not a tech attack.

So let me get this strait, you wanna make smash more like carnage, minus the RNG? *I would say no, and to stop trying to "fix" something that isn't broke.* For arguments sake we are going to take this one and apply to the sniper orbital strike. *You have 8 players in a WZ, and by some miracle you managed to get off all four ticks. At 6k x 8= that's 48k per tick. And multiply that by 4 you get *192k (potential dmg) for one ability. So by your argument orbital strike is grossly op and should not belong in the game.* Also the push to make smash more single target is kind of absurd, given that both warrior AC's have a single target spec carnage and vengeance. And might I add they both do pretty well, if played and geared correctly.* And the point that was brought up about 2 or 3 smashers working as a team. You can basically do that with any AC. You can have multiple agents running in lethality, or multiple marauder's in carnage.* Now if you were really concerned about "balance". I would suggest reverting the smash ability to the way it worked in the past by removing the insta cast. *As in "if" you were quick enough you could *counter it by either a KB, stun, or in the sin's case shroud.* ^^^^^^^ that's a repost from the marauder forums^^^^^^^

  4. Yes, until Quesh . I had two guild mates try that out, the quests are lvl restricted on that planet.

  6. There are other ways to "earn" the raid gear you think you need. Just save a ton of credits and offer a ops group like a few million creds to get a peice of gear, while you lay dead on the floor. So you won't potentially wipe said raid your paying for gear. And bam! You "earned it!...
  7. Yes it refreshes to the latest log file, as for performance I'm gonna say no I run a fx 8350 cpu . You can go in and set the core affinity (what ever core you want it to run on)
  8. Yeah down load the program and install it there is a setup wizard that guides you through it. Your log file should be in your documents folder and you have to enable combat logging in preferences

  10. So I have read almost every post pertaining to the power vs main stat argument. What I was wondering after reading, does this account for the crit damage that goes along with the power over the 1% crit chance. It's been my thinking that I would rather have a harder hitting crit over the 1% increase to crit chance.*
  11. Actualy there is, but it requires you do download a program called Advanced Combat Tracker. I use it to keep track of the slaughter and execute procs, and to keep a live parse. There is a custom trigger tab if you do use the program, that you can set up the trigger. But you have to know the script for the trigger. But there is about a half second delay between the proc going off and the trigger telling you. But that may just be lag on either end.
  12. My base damage is 1290-1507 it would be higher but I lost the roll for the arkanian main hand last night
  13. You can do that or use Advanced Combat Tracker, with a custom trigger to keep track of the proccs.

    I took the cash prize, but I had a nearly complete set before 50, I farmed it on tattoine and i bought what I needed. Plus I had a WH main hand wepon at 50 as well. So I dont see why it's so "unfair" IMO.

    This thread and others like it blows my mind. To say "I don't have the time or inclination" to get a set of BM gear. So since i pay my sub it should just be given to me when I reach 50. Wow....
