  1. It pleases me to see complaining of this magnitude from people who can't roll their face on their keyboard to win anymore.
  2. I am, unfortunately, acutely aware of framerate issues in spite of having a high end computer. I also play Pub side on Ebon Hawk, which would be lucky to win 25% of the time, in large part to the large quantities of Sorcs, Hatred Sins, and healers. I only really started playing this game in November of this past year. The future does not look promising for PVP.
  3. It would appear that the designers of the game find it hard to balance out PVP matches, leaving warzones possible like the one I just /dance'd through where it was me (a tank) and 2 DPS vs 2 healer operatives, a jugg tank, and an assassin DPS. I don't like having my time wasted with matches that out of balance. Cross-server warzones create a larger pool of players to ideally prevent this sort of thing from happening. Not sure what the aversion to this is, but it'd do a lot to help PvP feel active and fair.
  4. My bad. Yeah. My crits tick for that much. I crit fairly often at around 28%, and that jumps up to about 34 with the PVP relic, so I just see that number a lot. The point I was making stands, though, in that you can be a solid off-healer, an anchor on the enemy healer, surprise burst damage, and survivor should you play your cards right. I enjoy both specs, though. You just can't play one like the other. If you try to play Lethality like it's Concealment and rely on upfront/quick burst damage you're not going to succeed. Lethality is about the setup. Get HoTs rolling on yourself and DoTs rolling on them. You're constantly gaining health and they're losing. Then when you lay on the culls the burst takes them by surprise.
  5. Concealment if you want to be a wrecking ball. Lethality if you want to help your team by more indirect means like off-healing, DoT spreading, and surprise bursts after some setup. Throwing up 2600 HoT ticks on your team is the difference between capping South or not on Novare Coast. Putting DoTs on a group that takes almost 2000 HP together makes the life of the enemy's healer Hell. GCDs spent cleansing are GCDs not spent on healing. You yourself heal a good amount with the on demand Kolto pack every 10 seconds. Lethality definitely has its uses, and offers more to a team than Concealment does in my opinion. And once set up, you can put out some solid burst numbers with Culls.
  6. At least on Ebon Hawk, I would really like to see cross-faction PVP to some extent. It's abundantly clear that most people who want to play PVP to any serious degree has largely rolled Imp side. People want easy wins, and it becomes pretty pointless to queue up when you get a group of newcomers or inexperienced people against a premade in ranked gear on voice chat executing planned strategies. If these people ended up having to face themselves more often or be paired with people who aren't as experienced as them, I feel like there would be more of a sense of fairness and people would start PVP'ing more.
  7. I've just started playing Dirty Fighting (I just can't call it Ruffian for some reason), but there are two changes I would hope for. 1) Sanguinary Shot is taken off GCD. It just feels clunky to have to have to wait for a full tick to make use of this. I imagine there'd be a slight increase in DPS because of this if timed correctly. 2) Give us a passive that widens the arc of Blaster Volley or make BV not cost an UH. This spec is thin on AOE, and there are very few scenarios where it will be worthwhile right now to burn an UH or to take the time to position yourself to make this worth doing.
  8. DISCLAIMER: I'm pretty new to playing a Sentinel. The general vibe I'm getting is that Combat has the best burst potential of the 3 specs, but overall DPS struggles to stay on board with the others. It's also been made somewhat simplistic. My question is.. Can we give Combat some abilities that make it into more of a viable tank/off-tank? I think it'd give some unique reasons to play that spec, and could add versatility in PvP if it had some kind of taunt or more staying power.
