  1. The blasters already existed well before. Black Nebula Heavy Blaster is what it's called. Check the GTN on whatever server you play. It dropped from the crime lord's cartel pack. His duster was also a subscriber reward so it exists in game already.
  2. That would definitely be worth it but it still needs some story content. Considering how it has spread during the timeframe of the extended universe that disney has conveniently ignored, this could be how that happened maybe if they worked it in well enough. Maybe have the chiss step in at the end of the content to basically kick both the empire and republic out of the unknown regions with a fleet of ships they had hidden for a "just in case" moment to prevent it from getting worse.
  3. This needs to happen just to give the unknown regions the mystique and horror that has always surrounded it. I'm honestly surprised no mention was made of it when the chiss ascendancy made contact with the alliance. Perhaps the empire stumbles across the entity on some random world and decides to use it as a weapon against the republic without fully understanding what they're about to unleash. Could add it in via a new world with a storyline quest that leads to multiple flashpoints similar to how Ilum was done? It'd be even more interesting if the players have to find an in-game method of preventing from being consumed within by the entity after exposure. Considering the scoundrel storyline centered on finding lost treasure, something to do with finding another lost treasure of Xim the Despot could be another way to introduce this that would lead the players to Mugg Fallow and the starship graveyard around it.
  4. There are numerous classes that haven't been explored in this game from scout, noble, force adept, tech specialist, fringer, gladiator/duelist just to name a few. They wouldn't even have to add them in to the vanilla game. Could set the storylines after kotfe/kotet and avoid having to go through the outlander story. Would even be able to add new starting worlds for prologues and a class specific story for at least one chapter set on another world that each class arrives on to advance level from something like 60 up to 70 so it's all set before the story of onslaught but considering it'll take time to make it'd be better to set it after onslaught. Doesn't even need to be more than one new class for republic and empire. Just to see how it plays out and if people like it, they could do that periodically as the story progresses further with new updates/expansions. Either way, with how most suggestions are ignored, this is all moot.
  5. Threads like this will always be conjecture since no new serious content will ever be released for the majority of the companions. Reason being, the voice actor's strike that saw most of them refusing to work with publishers like EA and by default, bioware. Heck, even the agreement that was finally made back in 2017 by SAG-AFTRA's board hasn't really done much to change anything. Most of those same voice actors have switched what companies they work with. I know many of them started working for blizzard on world of warcraft a few years ago. Doubtful any of them will come back to bioware long term until publishers like EA pulls their head out of their butt and starts paying them what they're worth. As it stands though, Kira was definitely the best romance option in this game people still want a conclusion with of sorts after the events of kotfe/kotet. At the most, we'll see her return like every other companion with minor content and then the character will go back to being a brick as someone already mentioned.
  6. Not necessarily, if they add new classes to the game then they could easily set them after the events of kotfe/kotet on entirely new worlds as starting areas to reflect the changes that happened to the galaxy. There's classes like the scout, noble, gladiator/duelist, fringer, tech specialist, and force adept to name just a few. They could create class storylines again other than just "the outlander" since that storyline was basically lackluster when they decided to condense everything instead of making specific storylines for each class. Obviously, level would have to also match the new content so perhaps starting at level 60 you go through new content to get to 70 on said class specific stories instead of the outlander story. They should also create new story content for each of the current classes too instead of just leaving it a condensed mess. That was the original intent behind the game, so each class had something unique for the playthrough. We can keep throwing suggestions at them in threads like this until we're blue in the face however, but they'll never really listen cause they no longer have the team necessary to accomplish that or the funding.
  7. Honestly, it never made sense when it had it and still wouldn't considering the Mara/Sent is a melee damage and the only way to achieve that is to stay in range of target. They should have a force pull ability to compensate for all the knockbacks and stunlocks that are constantly used against them in pvp.
  8. First off, yes they are basically free-for-all matches cause all anyone ever really does is kill kill kill. I've seen that more often than not and the opposing team is focused purely on achieving the objective of the match and win. Then you see people complain "why did we lose?" and it makes you scratch your head at that point. Should be pretty obvious. Second, there is nothing strategic about huttball or any of the pvp warzones. It's a purely tactical based setup. Grab ball, run it to goal or pass to others until it gets there. Capture node, defend and so forth. You want a strategic game? go play an RTS game like starcraft, C&C, etc etc etc. Third, if you don't like it or any warzone, don't play them. If you don't like specific ones, just exit them and que again after a few moments and you'll be dropped into an entirely different match if enough people are in the que.
  9. I don't see the problem with huttball. It's a warzone fashioned upon the idea of it being a sport. It's no different than football in essence. Go from point A to point B with the ball to score a point. If you find it that terribly difficult, take a look at your gear and utility points for starters. Get those two things down correctly for your class and you'll do surprisingly better at the game. The rest is being on a good team, knowing the right rotations for pvp, to keep moving since it's not a hold still in one place sort of idea and try not to rage so much if you lose. If you're really that upset then leave the match whenever you end up in a huttball match. As far as removing it entirely, no. There are plenty of us who actually enjoy huttball cause it's not a mindless "go here and hold these two specific spots to win" match like all the others are. They should be adding more variety in pvp as far as what sort of goals need to be accomplished during a warzone. If your whole idea of pvp is simply to get into a free for all deathmatch, there are plenty of other games like that to play. For instance, go play an FPS multiplayer. You'll get all the senseless deathmatches you like. They've already got the 3 out of 3 rounds, voidstar (despite it having an actual goal but most people treat it like a deathmatch), civil war, novare and the hypergate (also all of which might have goals but most treat them like a deathmatch). At least with huttball and the newer Odessen proving grounds there's warzones that have a purpose other than just killing as many players as possible. I think perhaps they could benefit more from adding a terminal or a que where you can choose specific warzones you'd like to enter over others but they should not remove any of them simply cause someone decided to rage and whine.
  10. Ever given any thought to adding story content more dark and sinister around the idea of what was done in Red Harvest since it is roughly around the same time frame as the old republic or perhaps exploring further into the unknown region and discover Mnggal-Mnggal as new threats to the galaxy? Have to go somewhere now that the emperor is finally out of the picture and getting further away from that the better. It was an overdone plot that became more tiresome than entertaining.
  11. They still need to make a new class regardless. Even blizzard figured that out after awhile with wow. Bioware constantly goes on about story driven content. Yet, they have no intent to add new classes with story content? That's one area of many they are only hurting themselves by not doing.
  12. Kinda been wondering about that too. I'm guessing it either has something to do with the voice actor strike that's still going on or they're just being tight lipped about future content which isn't surprising. It'd be nice to see that character return though and not just as some subscriber reward. An actual story content driven return cause yeah, the never ending supply of companions isn't very useful other than being cosmetic.
  13. If they were going to be honest about incentives to repeat playing (especially on veteran mode) then they should have given a reward at the end of kotfe and kotet as one or two new pieces of gear at the 230-234 range so people keep playing to get the gear set that would hopefully come with a set bonus. Just a thought but maybe that's asking for a bit too much.
  14. Clearly you don't understand marketing. This really is a poor way to go about that. Not remotely monitoring their own promotional content is short sighted and not exactly a good business model to retain paying customers. It's basically like putting the village idiot in charge of the village under the belief they won't screw anything up.
  15. Holy sweet jesus. That right there says it all. EA has pretty much turned this game into a money generating zombie. Not caring enough to even pay attention to their own promotional content is just plain stupid and displays a sense of apathy towards their customers and fans. Bioware is seriously losing my respect at this point. Talk about a joke.
