Well you would also need to subtract development, publishing and hosting out of those costs. All of which would lower the profit significantly

Just like everything everyone here has been spouting off, that is your opinion. I myself liked the campaign of both of those games and actually thought multiplayer of MW3 was garbage(See, my opinion).

Blame EA for what? It is fun, and a lot of people think so as well. It looks like EA made a pretty good financial decision. One can see why their stock is worth more than the makers of that other MMO.

Being an ex-programmer probably means you weren't very good at it, but regardless; the skill trees changed, if they had left the skill points as they were then you would have different skills and complained about that as well. Some people just need to complain, only way to feel better about themselves I suppose.
