  1. SWTOR won't be going F2P anytime soon lol. Contrary to the forum dwellers and naysayers it's holding fast as the second largest current MMO in the west. Pretty sure with that kind of success it won't be going F2P.
  2. And the crafted crit campaign relics (there are no black hole relics so I assume that's what you meant) have more stats than a crit rakata one.
  3. You said that 8 man groups don't always have a DPS that can taunt to take the incinerate armor debuff. I told you that on 8 man you can just tank through the debuff with a cooldown. Removing the need for any tank switch or taunt.
  4. On 8 man hard you can just tank through the incinerate armor with a cooldown. Impossible to do that in 16.
  5. Everything you said is wrong. Screenshot proving it - taken 5 minutes ago. http://i47.tinypic.com/2hzoh0i.jpg The difference in "diminishing returns" even - It's not diminishing returns, it's a curve, as soon as you put one point into crit it starts the curve and the next point will give you less and less. and the difference between 500 crit rating and 100 crit rating? at 100 crit rating you gain roughly .05 crit% per point of critical rating and at 500 you gain roughly .032% per point. At that high curve, you aren't even into huge diminishing returns yet as you still haven't even cut in half the points to % ratio.
  6. Base crit rate on ANY level 50 epic craft on a companion with max affection and no bonus crit to that skill is 5%. So you have a 5% chance to crit on each craft. That's not additive, it's 5% every time you craft, it doesn't guarantee that you get 1 in 20 to crit. Basically every craft is a roll of a 100 side dice. If you roll 1-5 you crit, if you roll between 5-100 you don't.
  7. Campaign Relic with augment slot = 18 str 96 endurance. Still better. Next!
  8. k thanks, I was about to RE one but not sure which one, because it's on my alt that i have artifice lol.
  9. are the relics you craft BoP or BoE when crafted?
  10. We have gotten crit ears, and implants so far as far as black hole goes. Campaign gear can all be crit (including belts/bracers). Not sure about shields/generators or relics - all of which I am very interested in. You can also RE enhancements armorings and mods pulled out of black hole and campaign gear to learn them. Same goes for hilts and barrels.
  11. We run 2 raid groups, 8 man and 16 man, and have been killing these guys on both since the first week of 1.2 on live, and also in both operations on the PTR for weeks before that. We have never had someone get the debuff who was doing what he was supposed to be doing. Ever. It sounds to me like your sorc doesn't want to admit he messed up and is trying to blame it on a nonexistant bug.
  12. I like how his guild is "Unimpressed" By EC. Yet they haven't killed anything in Hard mode, and just cleared Story a week ago. You are asking for more content when you haven't even completed the current content. Edit - you still haven't killed nightmare Soa lol. Maybe you should focus more on the content you have rather than asking for more before you are even done with current stuff.
  13. Not a troll. Pointing out that every single profession has it's place in end game crafting currently. Here I will list what each one can do in an end game environment. Armstech - Augmented blasters, Augmented Rifles, Augmented vibroswords, Power and Crit Augments - all Best in Slot stuff for the classes that would use them. Artifice - All End game enhancements, End Game Hilts, Color Crystals, Augmented black hole shields, Generators and focuses, Augmented lightsabers and double bladed lightsabers, Augmented relics - Everything listed here is Best in slot for raiders and everyone else except the color crystals. Armormech - Augmented Heavy Armor, Augmented Medium Armor, Augmented Belts and Bracers, Aim and Cunning and some other Augments - all Best in slot items that any person trying to max out their character would want. Synthweaving - Augmented Synthweaving armor - Augmented Belts and Bracers, Main stat augments for Strength and Willpower and others - all Best in slot items that any person trying to max out their character would want. Cybertech - Augmented Black hole earrings, Rank 26 Armorings and Mods - all Best in slot items that any person trying to max out their character would want. Biochem - Augmented Implants. The Rakata Stims and Adrenals are worse than Exotech, they are the same as the normal blue stims and adrenals they can craft without any epic materials and that anyone can use. Anyone actually in a progression raiding environment doesn't use them, they use Exotech instead because it's better, by a LOT. If you aren't worried about using them then why use any at all? Your points are all wrong - the guy I quoted was mad because he couldn't make money by selling color crystals - boo hoo. There are a lot more things you can sell to make money. Each profession has a slew of stuff they can make that are all best in slot end game items that you will be able to buy even if you don't raid - eventually. Biochem has the least out of all of them. Everybody in this thread is wrong about almost everything they said. That's a huge problem when posting on the forums, you should probably make sure you are right about what you are saying before you post.
