  1. I've heard of many methods like transferring all the tionese mods to adaptive gear or WH/empty shells. Is there anyone here that have tried numerous methods and can confirm which of these methods do/do not work? Thanks in advance!
  2. And I've disabled "hide headslot" already. Is this a known bug/Issue?
  3. As above. Seems like battlemaster and rakata armorings have this slot limitation that only allows it to put it on the head or legs slot etc. Where do I find those that don't have it? Thanks in advance!
  4. We already have 3 coming soon for each flashpoint, Space Missions and Warzones for 1.3 Why not include 2 more for heroics and normal NPC quests? Create more options to cater for your subscribers with different tastes.
  5. As above. The only thing I've heard of is that it's from security key vendor? Thanks in advance
  6. Before the system was implement in FFXI, you won't see any level 75 people going to lowbie areas to volunteer or help out. Once people warmed up to the idea, you see many of them going down to help out as this also helps kill the boredom of higher level/max level players. I believe that it will play out in SWTOR the same way it played out in FFXI.
  7. That's why they might as well not announce it for the hong kong and singapore players. The newer players who just came in and doesn't know about this issue will definitely suffer and quit in end game which is a bad for BIOWARE/EA.
  8. Bioware needs to have a separate physical server either in Hong Kong or Singapore because the latency from playing in Australian server is much worse than playing in an American Server. The SG/HK veterans who are playing in the american servers will most likely stay while the newcomers will quit at endgame because having 300-400ms will give you a huge disadvantage in PVP and PVE as I already find it slightly difficult with 200ms playing in American servers. I sincerely hope that the moderators will read this and give a proper feedback to those in charge.
  9. http://games.on.net/article/14905/SWTOR_Australian_Launch_Details_We_Speak_to_BioWare_About_All_Things_Oz Players from Singapore and Hong Kong will get higher ping playing in Australian servers compared to playing in American(west coast) servers. Please reconsider your decision of chucking everyone into one server rather than having another physical server located in Hong Kong or Singapore serving the players there! It will definitely affect your sales as many newer SG and HK players will be disgruntled with the latency issues and eventually quit! Thank you.
  10. BIOWARE/EA, so do you have any plans of adding a real Singapore or Hong Kong server instead of just chucking everyone in a Australian server?? I wouldn't mind paying good $$ for an actual <50 ms server I hope the mods can feedback this to those in charge.
  11. I fully support this idea. You could add some daily or weekly quest rewards with social points, commendations or prototype level and above materials to make it more attractive to encourage the 50s and other higher levels to help train up more padawans/apprentice.
  12. It will definitely help even in a low pop server in my honest opinion. So many planets are so empty right now because people can just easily level up to 50 with solo quests, pvp and space missions without even touching any of the heroic+2/heroic+4 content there which is a total waste in my opinion. The higher levels would only get rewarded once through the daily and weekly but they could make new friends and be motivated to help the lower level guys with other stuff like datacrons and their story missions and so on. It might not be a total solution but it will help alleviate the "loneliness" a bit by giving 50s and other higher levels a reason to return to those planets.
  13. They are only rewarded once through the daily or through the weekly quests and given the current population problem in many servers, I think this is a good way to build community bonding in the server. Making the level 50s can come back and help out the lower levels isn't such a bad thing afterall IMHO as this game is indeed marketed towards the casuals unlike the hardcore PVE stance of FFXI.
  14. I remembered this idea from final fantasy 11 online. FINAL FANTASY LEVEL SYNC SYSTEM We could implement something similar in SWTOR. The higher levels could accept "Level Sync" dailies or weeklies quests and set themselves as "Level Sync Helpers" and wait for the lower level player to request and invite them to help out with their missions, quests, heroics and flashpoints. They will then be de-bolstered to the equivalent of the lowest level in that party. My suggestion for the minimum level for the player to request for "level sync helpers" is level 10. Upon the completion of the requested mission/quest/heroic/FP, the higher level player will then claim his daily or weekly reward which contains the usual credits + exp/legacy exp and the amount is determined by their levels of course. The chosen reward can either be that player's appropriate material bags that have a chance of giving them prototype or artifact grade materials which are appropriate for the craft's crew skill level or give them some artifact lockboxes. Please feel free to improve on my suggestion. The only thing hard to implement here might be the coding for the de-bolstering. Thanks for reading.
  15. It's still better than walking backwards in the heat of combat. It's useful because when the moment your character stops moving, it automatically faces it back to the default direction before running while the camera angle remains faced to the front. Very useful when you want to keep an eye on the monster or player that is hitting you. I found very useful in AION and in the other MMORPGS(F2P) that I've played that have this feature because usually I will have to keybind "S" to something else as it's useless in combat. I understand that WOW veteran arena players like to do a quick turn backwards spacebar jump and this feature will not interfere with that technique as it's an optional keybinding. Another alternate solution that Bioware can implement is to make moving backwards as fast as moving forward.
